We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we serve a God who is greater, who has already overcome the world (1 John 4:4). It is crucial to remember that our authority and victory come through the name of Jesus Christ alone. You did not mention His name in your request, and we must emphasize that there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for He is the only way to true freedom and eternal life (John 14:6).
The pain and attacks you are experiencing are real, but they are temporary when placed in the hands of our Almighty God. Scripture assures us that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Tonight, we take our stand on the promises of God, commanding every attack of the enemy to be rendered powerless in Jesus’ name. We also pray that the Lord will expose any areas in your life where the enemy may have a foothold—whether through unconfessed sin, fear, or doubt—and that you will surrender these completely to God. Remember, if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You tonight in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is under attack by the forces of darkness, and we ask for Your divine protection and intervention. Lord, You are a shield around them, their glory, and the One who lifts their head (Psalm 3:3). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we rebuke every scheme of Satan that seeks to bring pain, fear, or torment. We command every spirit of infirmity, oppression, and darkness to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. Let Your healing power flow through their body, mind, and spirit, restoring them to wholeness. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we ask that You reveal any strongholds in their life that may be giving the enemy access. Give them the courage to repent and turn fully to You, trusting in Your grace and mercy. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We cover them with the blood of Jesus Christ, which speaks better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). Let Your angels encamp around them, delivering them from all evil (Psalm 34:7). Father, let them rest in the assurance that You are with them, that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs through Christ Jesus. May they wake up tomorrow with a renewed sense of Your presence, Your love, and Your power working in their life. In the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Stand firm in prayer, and do not give the enemy any place in your life. Cling to Jesus, for He alone is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). If you are not already immersed in Scripture, we urge you to fill your heart and mind with God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Stay connected to a body of believers who can pray with you and support you in this fight. You are not alone—we are standing with you, and most importantly, God is with you.
