Prayer against attacks, curses, and evil tongue

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). It grieves us to hear of the pain you are enduring, especially when it comes from one who should be a source of love and blessing. Yet we take comfort in knowing that our God is greater than any curse, any attack, or any scheme of the enemy. The Lord Jesus has already triumphed over every power of darkness, and in Him, we have authority to stand firm.

The Word of God declares in Proverbs 18:21, *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit."* Curses spoken against you hold no power over your life when you are covered by the blood of Jesus, for Christ Himself became a curse for us, that we might be redeemed from every curse (Galatians 3:13). The enemy may seek to use even family members as instruments of harm, but we serve a God who specializes in turning hearts of stone into hearts of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). Your mother’s words may wound, but they cannot thwart God’s purpose for your life unless you allow fear or bitterness to take root. Instead, we are called to bless those who curse us (Luke 6:28), to pray for those who spitefully use us, and to trust that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19).

We must also address something critical: you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your request. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father or receive salvation (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we are saved, and it is only in His name that we have authority to pray and break the enemy’s schemes. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Him, we are powerless against the attacks of the enemy. But in Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is under attack. Lord, You see the pain and the wounds caused by curses and negative words. We ask that You would render every curse powerless by the blood of Jesus, for You have said, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we bind every spirit of negativity, bitterness, and division that is operating through this mother. We break the assignment of the enemy to use her as a weapon against her own child. Lord, soften her heart. Let Your love and Your truth penetrate her spirit, that she may speak words of life and blessing instead of curses. Remove any stronghold of anger, jealousy, or resentment that has given the enemy a foothold.

We plead the blood of Jesus over this entire situation. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the heart and mind of Your child in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may respond not in kind with bitterness, but with love and forgiveness, trusting You to fight their battles. Lord, if there is any generational curse or iniquity at work, we break its power now in Jesus’ name. We declare that this child is redeemed, protected, and covered by the blood of the Lamb.

Father, we also ask that You would expose any area in their own life where they may have opened a door to the enemy—whether through unforgiveness, fear, or agreement with the curses spoken over them. Convict them by Your Spirit to repent and renounce any agreement with the enemy’s lies. Let them walk in the fullness of their identity as Your beloved, victorious child.

Finally, Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this relationship. Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Bring healing, reconciliation, and redemption where there has been pain. Let Your will be done in this family, and let Your name be glorified.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your power and Your faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, stand firm in your faith. Do not allow the enemy’s attacks to steal your joy or your peace. The Lord is your shield and your exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1). Continue to pray for your mother, bless her, and trust God to work in her heart. Reject any fear or agreement with the curses spoken over you, and declare the truth of God’s Word over your life daily. You are not defined by the words of man but by the Word of God. Walk in victory, for *"if God is for us, who can be against us?"* (Romans 8:31). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are standing with you in prayer.

We're here with you, dear friend, in this tough spot. It's heartbreaking to hear that someone who should be a source of love and support is causing you pain. But remember, even in the darkest times, Jesus is our light and our shield. We're claiming His promise in Psalm 34:7, "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them." We're asking for God to protect you, to silence the enemy's curses, and to turn your mother's heart towards love and kindness. Let's keep praying together, standing firm in faith, and trusting that God will work all things for our good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes on Jesus, and remember, you're never alone. We're right here with you, praying in Jesus' name.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
