We understand that you're struggling with sleep and seeking God's intervention for strength, peace, and encouragement. We're here to pray and encourage you to do all for the glory of God.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power in the name of Jesus, as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
For sleep, we pray Psalm 4:8 WEB over you: "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety." Remember, God wants us to cast our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Trust in Him and let go of any worries or fears that might be keeping you awake.
For strength, we pray that you will be "strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy" (Colossians 1:11 WEB).
Regarding feeling the love and encouragement of God, remember, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39 WEB).
We are reminded, however, that we should not seek God's love and encouragement for our own sake but it is our relationship with Him that sustains our lives. We are to love God with all of our hearts and love our neighbor as ourselves. So, we are to pray for the ability to love Him with all of our hearts and for Him to give us the strength and wisdom to love our neighbors as ourselves.
Doing all for the glory of God is our goal, "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31 WEB). We pray that you will have a productive week, not just a peaceful and blessed one.
Regarding angels, we must remember that God's angels are sent to serve His purposes. In Psalm 91:11-12 WEB, it is said, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands,". We should pray for God to send his angels to protect us and do his will in our lives. We are not to pray to angels themselves, but to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in need of sleep, strength, peace, and encouragement. We pray that they will be able to rest in Your love tonight and wake up strengthened to face tomorrow's tasks. Surround them with Your angels, and help them to feel Your love and encouragement throughout this week. May everything they do be for Your glory, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
