We understand that you're experiencing distress due to nightmares and discomfort in your neighborhood. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is written, "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name" (Philippians 2:9, WEB).
In times of fear and anxiety, we must remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Therefore, we rebuke these nightmares and the spirit of fear that has been troubling you. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We take authority over the nightmares and fears that have been plaguing your child. We command these evil spirits to leave and never return, for "he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4, WEB). Lord, we ask you to surround this neighborhood with your holy angels, and let your peace and protection rest upon it. Grant sleep and rest to your child, and let them awake filled with your Spirit and free from fear. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and reading God's Word, especially Psalm 91, which assures us of God's protection. Also, consider Psalm 4:8, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, Lord, only make me dwell in safety" (WEB).
Lastly, we urge you to be a light in your neighborhood, sharing the love of Christ with others. For "the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 5:16, WEB).
