Night time prayer attacks mental health satanic attacks

Hi can you please pray for me, my mother attacks me a lot. I feel really bad mentally.

We are deeply grieved to hear of the spiritual and emotional battles you are facing, especially the nighttime attacks and the distress caused by your mother’s words or actions. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we know that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let us first address the spiritual warfare you are experiencing, as well as the pain in your home, and lift this before the Lord in prayer.

The attacks you describe at night are not uncommon for believers who are under spiritual assault. Satan and his demons often strike when we are vulnerable—when our minds are weary, and our bodies are at rest. But we are commanded to resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7). Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. When you feel these attacks, speak Scripture aloud. Declare verses like Psalm 91:5-6: *"You will not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday."* Claim the protection of the blood of Jesus over your mind, your home, and your sleep. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler (Psalm 91:3-4).

As for the pain caused by your mother, we know that family strife can be one of the deepest sources of hurt. The Bible calls us to honor our parents (Exodus 20:12), but it does not mean we must endure abuse or ungodly treatment without boundary or recourse. If your mother’s words or actions are verbally or emotionally abusive, it is important to seek wisdom on how to respond in a way that honors God while also protecting your heart and mind. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us that *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* If possible, respond to her with kindness and patience, but also recognize that you may need to set boundaries for your own well-being. If she is belittling, mocking, or constantly criticizing you, it may be necessary to limit interactions or seek mediation, especially if she is unwilling to change. Pray for her salvation and softening of her heart, for the Lord can transform even the hardest hearts (Ezekiel 36:26).

We also want to address your mental health. The Lord cares deeply about your emotional and mental well-being. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, or feelings of worthlessness, know that these are not signs of weak faith but opportunities to lean more fully on Christ. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Seek support from a biblical counselor or a mature believer who can walk alongside you. Avoid isolating yourself, for the enemy preys on those who are alone. Surround yourself with godly community, even if it is just a few trusted believers who can pray with you and encourage you in the truth.

Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without faith in Christ, we are powerless against the schemes of the enemy. But in Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). If you are already a believer, we encourage you to boldly approach the throne of grace in Jesus’ name, for He is your advocate and intercessor (Hebrews 4:16).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before You, knowing that You are a God who sees their pain and hears their cries. Lord, we rebuke every demonic attack against their mind, their sleep, and their peace. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we cover them with the blood of Jesus, which breaks every curse and every scheme of the enemy. Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels, as You did for Elisha in 2 Kings 6:17, so that they may see the heavenly host protecting them even in the darkest hours.

Lord, we pray for their mother. Soften her heart, Lord, and convict her of any sin that is causing her to speak or act in ways that wound. If she does not know You, Father, we ask that You would draw her to Yourself, that she may come to repentance and faith in Christ. Give Your child wisdom in how to respond to her, and grant them the strength to forgive, even as You have forgiven us. Heal the wounds in their heart, Lord, and restore what has been broken. If there are generational curses or strongholds in their family, we break them now in the name of Jesus, and we declare freedom and healing over this home.

Father, we also lift up their mental health to You. You are the God who binds up the brokenhearted (Isaiah 61:1), and we ask that You would bring supernatural peace to their mind. Cast out every spirit of depression, anxiety, and despair, and fill them instead with Your joy and hope. Lead them to godly counsel and community, Lord, so that they are not alone in this battle. Remind them of their identity in Christ—that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

Finally, Father, we pray that they would grow deeper in their relationship with You. May they seek Your face daily, putting on the armor of God and standing firm in Your truth. Give them a hunger for Your Word, that they may meditate on it day and night and find their strength in You. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, Lord, so that they know beyond a shadow of a doubt that You are with them, fighting for them, and leading them into victory.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7). Keep praying, keep declaring Scripture over your life, and do not give the enemy a foothold. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you in prayer, and the Lord Himself is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). If you need further encouragement or biblical counsel, do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to walk with you in this season.

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been praying for you and your mother, interceding for your peace and her heart. We claim the blood of Jesus over your mind, your home, and your sleep. May you rest in the knowledge that He is your refuge and fortress, always present to help you in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We've been meditating on Ephesians 6:10-18, and we want to encourage you to put on the whole armor of God. It's not just about reciting verses, but about living them out. So, let's stand together in the full armor of God, with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace on our feet, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Remember, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He cares for you deeply, and He wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Surround yourself with godly community, even if it's just a few trusted believers who can pray with you and encourage you in the truth.

We'll keep praying for you, and we're here if you need further encouragement or biblical counsel. You are not alone in this. Stand firm, dear one, for the Lord is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7). Keep praying, keep declaring Scripture over your life, and don't give the enemy a foothold. We're in this together, and we believe in the power of Jesus' name to bring healing, peace, and victory.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you and your mother up in prayer during this difficult season of spiritual and emotional warfare. The battles we face in the darkest hours of the night are real, and we know how heavy the weight of mental anguish can feel—especially when it’s compounded by attacks from those closest to us. You are not alone in this fight, and we have been earnestly praying that the Lord would surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We’ve asked the Lord to break every stronghold of the enemy over your thoughts, to silence the lies of condemnation and despair, and to fill you with His truth and hope. We’ve also prayed for your mother, that God would soften her heart, convict her of any words or actions that have caused you pain, and bring reconciliation where there has been strife. Most of all, we’ve pleaded for His supernatural protection over your mind, that He would grant you rest, clarity, and a renewed sense of His presence even in the quietest hours of the night.

If the Lord has brought you comfort, relief, or a breakthrough in this situation, we would love to rejoice with you—please share a praise report so we can give Him the glory together. If the battle still rages and the burden feels just as heavy, we urge you to post again so we can continue to stand with you in prayer, unwavering and persistent, until victory is won. The enemy may attack, but our God is greater, and He is faithful to deliver His children from the snares of the evil one.

We are reminding you today that you are deeply loved by the Father, and He sees every tear you’ve cried. Keep seeking Him, even when it feels hard. Keep clinging to His promises, even when the night feels long. He is your refuge, your strength, and your ever-present help in trouble. May He fill you with His peace and remind you that the battle belongs to Him.

We continue to pray for you in Jesus’ name.
