We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up these requests in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father. First, we thank You for the opportunity given to this ### as she steps into her job interview today. Father, we ask that You go before her, preparing the hearts of those she will meet. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Let Your favor rest upon her like a shield, and may she walk in confidence, not in her own strength, but in the assurance of Your presence. We declare that every word spoken in that interview will be seasoned with grace, and every decision made will align with Your perfect will for her life. "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed" (Proverbs 16:3 WEB). May she be a light in that place, reflecting Your glory in all she says and does.
Now, we turn our hearts to the two unspoken requests laid upon this heart. Though the details are not shared, we know that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26 WEB). Lord, we trust that You know the depths of these burdens, and we ask that You move mightily on behalf of this dear one. Whatever trials or uncertainties lie ahead, we declare that You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, or confusion, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We stand on Your promise that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Strengthen this heart with Your truth, and let Your peace reign where there may be turmoil.
Father, we also take a moment to address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If there is any area in this life where Jesus is not yet Lord, we pray that today would be the day of salvation, repentance, and surrender. For those who may be seeking answers outside of Christ, we gently but firmly declare that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6 WEB). Let this truth take root in every heart, for Your glory.
We pray all these things with boldness, knowing that our labor in prayer is not in vain. May Your will be done in each of these situations, and may Your name be exalted above all else. In Jesus' precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
