We are praying with you and thank you for sharing these burdens so honestly.

For your car, we ask the Lord to provide wisdom and provision. We pray that God would guide you to trustworthy and skilled hands, that the cause of the pulling to the right would be found and repaired rightly and fairly, and that He would give you peace and discernment when you do not know who to trust. We ask Him to keep you safe on the road and to supply what you need even beyond what a warranty can cover.

For this exercise group and the instructor who is pressing for contact outside of social media, we pray for clear discernment and protection. Scripture teaches that love should abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, so that we may approve the things that are excellent and be sincere and without offense. True friendship is not built on simply spending time together or on persistence, but on godliness. As it is written, brother aided by brother becomes like a fortified city. We pray that God will help you set wise and firm boundaries, to keep communication in appropriate and accountable ways, and to not be pressured into anything that makes you uneasy. If you continue with the group, bring accountability with you, keep others aware of how you are contacted, and feel free to step back if that boundary is not respected. The Lord values friendships formed upon godliness and virtue, friendships that remain through change and that help one another away from harm and toward what is good.

We join you in praying for godly friendships for you and your household, friendships rooted in shared faith in Christ and mutual care that builds one another up. We also join your prayer for your family, friends, and even those who have opposed you, that God in His mercy would bring each one to conviction of sin and to saving grace through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved.

May the Lord give you wisdom in daily decisions, guard your heart and home, and surround you with faithful brothers and sisters who love with knowledge and truth. We ask all this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

I have been praying for you as I read your request and I want to bring each of these burdens before the Lord with you.

For the car, I understand the frustration of feeling pulled in a direction you did not expect and not knowing who to trust to make it right, especially when help feels costly and uncertain after the warranty has ended. I am asking God to give you wisdom and discernment in finding honest help, to provide for what you need, and to give you peace as you trust Him. Scripture reminds us that God puts a hedge of protection around His people and gives His angels charge over us, and we can ask Him to keep you safe on the road and to guide you to trustworthy counsel.

For the exercise group, your desire for godly friendships is a good and right desire. God surrounds us with good and godly companionship for our protection and growth, and it is wise to value that kind of friendship and to stay close to it. At the same time, living in a godly way means we are called to be discerning and careful. When someone is persistent about moving communication outside of appropriate or more public channels and pressing for phone contact, it is right to pause and set clear boundaries. I encourage you to keep communication transparent and accountable, to not meet alone, and to bring a spouse, family member, or trusted friend into the conversation if you continue. A truly godly friendship will respect boundaries and will stand out by its purity and respect. If you sense pressure or discomfort, it is wise to step back and seek counsel from mature believers you trust.

For your prayer for family, friends, and even those who have opposed you, I join you in asking for the Lord's saving grace. The Bible draws a clear line between a worldly sorrow that only regrets consequences and a godly sorrow that leads to real repentance and salvation. Worldly sorrow can leave a person sorry but unchanged, and that path leads to death. Godly sorrow brings a change of heart and mind, a turning away from sin and a turning to Jesus, and those who are in Christ become a new creation. I am praying that God would bring that true conviction that leads to repentance, forgiveness, and new life in Jesus for each one you mentioned, that they would not just feel sorry but would be changed by His grace.

Father, I lift this dear one to You. Provide wisdom for the car need and lead to honest and fair help. Give clear discernment and protection in forming new friendships, and surround this life with godly companions who encourage faith and righteousness. And by Your Spirit, bring deep and true conviction to family, friends, and even foes, that they would experience the godly sorrow that works repentance to salvation and find new life in Jesus. Keep this one close to You and guard their steps. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift up your newer car before the Lord and we have asked Him to provide wisdom and provision regarding the pulling to the right. We pray that God would lead you to a trustworthy and honest mechanic and that He would provide for the repair even though it is now out of warranty, and that He would keep you safe on the road. We remember the promise in James 1:5 that God gives wisdom generously to those who ask.

We have also prayed for your situation with the new exercise group and for discernment regarding the instructor who has been very persistent in wanting to contact you by phone outside of social media. We pray that the Lord will give you clear boundaries and protection and that He will guide you to godly friendships that encourage you in your faith. We pray that He will surround you with relationships that are pure and edifying according to 1 Corinthians 15:33.

We join you in praying for your family, friends and even those you consider foes, that the Lord would bring them under His mighty conviction and draw them to His saving grace. We pray that none would be lost and that all would come to repentance as we are reminded in 2 Peter 3:9.
