Seems our newer car is pulling to the right, praying dealer fixes it right but out of warranty now and don’t know who to trust anymore and also with this new exercise group we’re trying to join the instructor wants me to contact him over the phone, he’s very persistent in communicating outside of Sm. Jesus? We need godly friendships and for lo’s bring them all fam friends and foes to your mighty conviction and saving grace. Amen

We join you in bringing both of these concerns before the Lord together in Jesus' name, trusting that He cares about the practical details of our lives as well as our relationships and spiritual walk.

We understand the frustration of a newer car pulling to the right and the worry that comes when it is out of warranty and you do not know who to trust for a fair and honest repair. We pray for wisdom and provision for you in this stewardship of what God has provided. We ask the Lord to guide you to an honest and skilled mechanic, whether the dealer or another trustworthy shop, and that the repair would be done correctly and at a reasonable cost, and for your safety on the road. Scripture reminds us to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. We also take comfort that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. If you lack wisdom about who to trust, we claim the promise If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We encourage you to seek counsel from multiple trusted sources, ask for recommendations from mature believers in your church family, get a second opinion if needed, and pray for discernment, for Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many counselors they are established Proverbs 15:22.

We also hear your concern about the new exercise group and the instructor who is very persistent in wanting to contact you by phone outside of the group setting. We appreciate your desire for godly friendships and your discernment in this. We want to encourage you to guard your heart and maintain clear and wise boundaries. While exercise and community can be good gifts, we are called to be wise and above reproach in all our interactions. We are told to Abstain from every form of evil 1 Thessalonians 5:22 and that He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm Proverbs 13:20. Bad company corrupts good morals 1 Corinthians 15:33, so we should seek friendships that sharpen us as Iron sharpens iron Proverbs 27:17.

If this instructor is pushing for private phone communication that makes you uncomfortable, it is right to keep communication within the public group setting, to bring your spouse or a trusted friend or family member into the situation, and to be transparent and accountable. It is wise not to be alone with someone of the opposite sex in private settings and to keep all communication open and observable. We encourage you to kindly but firmly keep boundaries, and if the persistence continues, to step back from that group and seek a different exercise group that respects those boundaries and is led with integrity. God has given us a spirit not of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7, and we can trust that discernment.

We rejoice that you lifted up the name of Jesus and that you have a heart to see family, friends, and even foes come to His mighty conviction and saving grace. That reflects the heart of God, who desires that all people would be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4 and is not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9.

We pray together now, Father, we thank You that we can come to You in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and have access to Your throne. We lift up this car need to You, Lord, we ask for Your hand of protection as they drive, for wisdom to find an honest repair person, for favor and fairness in cost, and for peace that You are our ultimate trust when we do not know who to trust among men. Give them clear direction and provide for every need. We also lift up this exercise group situation, Lord, grant discernment and courage to set godly boundaries, protect from any manipulation or unwise entanglement, and lead them to godly friendships that encourage holiness and fellowship in Christ. Surround them with community that builds them up. And Lord, we agree in prayer for all their family, friends, and even those who oppose them, that Your Holy Spirit would bring mighty conviction of sin and draw each one to repentance and to saving faith in Jesus Christ, that they may know Your grace and forgiveness. Keep us all walking in Your wisdom and truth. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Not knowing who to trust with the car is wearying, especially when you depend on it daily. If it helps, one steady next step is to get a second set of eyes before authorizing any big repair. Ask a trusted friend or someone at church who they use for an honest independent shop, and ask for anything recommended in writing with a clear estimate. That can give you more peace as you decide with the dealer or another mechanic.

And with the instructor, it's understandable to feel pressured when someone is persistent about moving communication to your personal phone. You are free to keep your own boundaries there. A simple, kind and firm no is enough, for example, keeping all contact inside the group or class platform and not sharing your number. Going with a friend, staying in the group setting, and letting your yes be yes and your no be no helps protect your freedom and keeps the friendship on healthy ground. If the persistence continues, it's okay to step back from that group and look for another.

We join you in praying for trustworthy, godly friendships and for your loved ones to know His grace.

Jesus, we bring this car need to You and ask for wisdom and honest help in getting it fixed rightly. We ask for clear boundaries and peace in this exercise group, and for the instructor to respect them. Lead our friend to encouraging community where trust can grow slowly and safely. Your requests have been laid before the Lord and we join you in seeking His grace and wisdom in each matter.

We hear your concern for the car that pulls to the right and the burden of being out of warranty and not knowing who to trust. There is a healthy fear of the Lord which quiets the heart, for to know that you, God, see me fosters not intimidation but trust. May the Lord give you discernment to find honest and skillful hands for this need, and may you be kept from anxiety by looking to Him who provides for His people in temporal things as well as spiritual. In every time of pressure and of daily care, let it ring you to your knees, for all our times ought to be times of prayer.

Concerning the exercise group and the instructor who presses for contact outside the proper channels, we urge holy prudence and plain, godly living. True friendship with Christ is shown in being upright and affectionate and in making those around you to see Christ in you. Godly friendships are a great mercy and are to be sought with care. We counsel you to keep boundaries that are wise and above reproach, to keep communications within the open and accountable setting of the group, to bring a trusted friend or family member alongside you, and not to yield to persistence that would draw you into private or pressured contact. If you sense that persistence is unwise or unwelcome, it is right to step back, to speak plainly, and to seek counsel from mature believers near you. We pray the Lord will guard you and give you clear discernment, and that He will provide the godly friendships you desire, friendships that encourage you toward Christ and holiness.

For your loved ones and friends and even those you count as foes, we pray with you for their conviction and saving grace. There is no other way of salvation, for salvation is of the Lord alone. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. It is not to look to ourselves nor to our works, for salvation is without money and without price, but to look unto Him and be saved, all the ends of the earth. To believe on Him is to trust in Him, to leave the whole matter of your present and eternal salvation in His hands with unquestioning confidence. He Himself is our salvation, and there is none other. We pray that the Lord in His sovereignty would call each of your family and friends by His grace, that as He has often used one in a household as a spiritual decoy to bring the rest into the gospel net, so He would make your household to be a rejoicing and renewed household, united in Christ here and hereafter.

We therefore pray, O Lord, look upon this need for daily provision and give wisdom for the car and for trustworthy help. Grant protection, discretion and godly companions in this new group, and let no snare take hold. And above all, pour out Thy Spirit upon family and friends and foes, that they may look to Christ and live, believing on Him whom Thou hast laid in Zion for a foundation, and finding in Him a salvation that is great beyond conception and sure beyond hazard. May the Lord be your light and your salvation, and may you joy in the God of your salvation as you fear Him and trust Him. Amen.
