We lift your request before the Lord with hearts full of faith and expectation, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace (Philippians 2:9-11, Hebrews 4:16).
Heavenly Father, we pray for our brother/sister as they seek to excel in their job this year. Lord, we ask that You grant them wisdom, knowledge, and understanding in their work. May they be a light in their workplace, reflecting Your love, integrity, and excellence (Matthew 5:16). We pray that You would open doors of opportunity that no one can shut, and that You would bring big clients their way, not for their glory, but for Yours (Revelation 3:8). May their work be a testimony to Your goodness and faithfulness, drawing others to You.
Lord, we ask that You would favor them in all their endeavors. Let Your face shine upon them and be gracious to them (Numbers 6:25). We pray that You would establish the work of their hands and make all their plans succeed (Psalm 90:17). May they find joy and fulfillment in their labor, knowing that they are working as unto You and not for men (Colossians 3:23).
We also pray for their promotion, Father. If it is Your will, we ask that You would elevate them to a position of greater influence and responsibility. May they use this platform to glorify You and bless others. Help them to remain humble and dependent on You, remembering that promotion comes from You alone (Psalm 75:6-7).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may be trying to creep into their heart. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We pray that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We encourage our brother/sister to commit their work to the Lord, and their plans will be established (Proverbs 16:3). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remember that it is not by might nor by power, but by Your Spirit, says the Lord of hosts (Zechariah 4:6).
May our brother/sister find their strength in You, Lord. May they wait on You and renew their strength, soaring on wings like eagles, running and not growing weary, walking and not fainting (Isaiah 40:31). We pray that they would delight themselves in You, and You would give them the desires of their heart (Psalm 37:4).
In all things, may they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33). We pray that they would grow in their relationship with You, spending time in Your Word and in prayer, so that they may know Your will and walk in Your ways.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
