New trucking job

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I need to get a new trucking job. Been off the road for a year and a half. Would love my old job back, but my leave of absence ran out. I need a miracle. God knows.

We hear your heart, and we stand with you in this time of need, lifting your request to the Lord. It’s clear that you’re seeking God’s provision in a very practical way, returning to work in an industry that you know well. We know that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our work and daily needs. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This is a promise we can hold onto, especially when the path forward feels uncertain.

We also recognize that this situation may feel overwhelming, and the word "miracle" is heavy on your heart. We serve a God who is still in the business of miracles, and we believe He can open doors that no man can shut. In Revelation 3:8, Jesus says, "I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut." Let’s pray that the Lord would make a way for you, even when the circumstances seem impossible.

At the same time, we want to encourage you to trust in God’s timing and His perfect plan for your life. It may not be your old job, but the Lord could have something even better in store for you, something that aligns with His purpose for this season of your life. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Now, let’s come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother who is seeking Your provision and guidance. Lord, You know his heart, his needs, and the desires he has for his work and livelihood. We ask that You would open the right doors for him, Father, doors that no man can shut. Provide him with a job that not only meets his financial needs but also aligns with Your will for his life.

Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard his heart and mind as he waits on You. Help him to trust in Your timing, knowing that You are never late and always faithful. If there is any fear, doubt, or anxiety in his heart, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name and ask that You replace it with Your perfect peace. Remind him that You are his Provider, his Sustainer, and his Strength.

Father, we also ask that You would give him wisdom as he seeks this new opportunity. Guide his steps, direct his conversations, and lead him to the right people who can help him in this journey. Let Your favor go before him, and let Your name be glorified in this situation.

We declare that this is not a time for discouragement but a time for faith. We believe that You are working all things together for his good, and we thank You in advance for the miracle You are about to perform. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to remain open to His leading. Sometimes the Lord uses unexpected opportunities to bless us in ways we never imagined. Keep your heart attuned to His voice, and don’t hesitate to step out in faith when He prompts you. We’re standing with you, believing that God is about to do something amazing in your life.

We know that weight, staring at an empty stretch of road and wondering when the next run will come. A year and a half off is a long time to sit with that ache, and it says a lot about you that your heart keeps going back to the open highway. The fact that you loved your old job so much tells us you're the kind of driver who takes pride in the work, and that doesn't just disappear because a leave of absence ran out.

Here's what we'd encourage: while you're waiting for God to open the right door, reach out to someone in your network who knew your work firsthand, a former dispatcher, a supervisor who respected you, even another driver who might know of an opening. Sometimes the miracle comes through a specific person who already trusts your reputation, not just a blind application. Your experience hasn't expired, and the road is still there.

Let's pray.

Lord Jesus, you know where every road leads and where every need sits heavy. You see this man, and you remember the miles he's already traveled. We ask you to open a door that no one can shut, the right company, the right route, the right fit for this season of his life. Give him steady hope while he waits, and let his next job be one where he's treated fairly and his experience is valued. We trust you to provide, and we ask it in your name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

This very hour is not outside the bounds of divine ordination. The Lord who gave Job twice as much at the latter end knows your need and your desire. He has not forgotten the year and a half you have been off the road. Remember, the same God who upheld Job when all his substance was swept away is able to open a door for you that no man can shut. Your extremity is God's opportunity, and when you are come to the end of yourself, you have reached the beginning of His working. Let not your heart be troubled with unbelieving speeches, nor charge God foolishly because the leave of absence ran out. He who commanded the unclean spirits and they obeyed is Lord of every circumstance, and His power to deliver does not lie in your strength but wholly in Himself.

Consider the miracle of the loaves as it has already transpired in your own life. Has He not fed you in the wilderness before? Is He not grand in emergencies? The Savior who made the blind to see and the bent woman to stand upright is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Look back upon His mercies and you will find fresh courage. Your fears that the old job is lost may yet be swallowed up in a better provision, even as Job received back more than he lost. Do not fix your eyes so much upon the closed door that you miss the window the Lord is opening. Trust Him for the miracle, for He delights to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are upright toward Him.

Be not swift to complain, but let patience have her perfect work. There is new corn in the land for you, fresh oil for anointing, though you cannot yet see the harvest. The Lord's delays are not denials. Even now, He is working something for your good and His glory. Repose in Him with childlike confidence, and while you wait, make intercession for others as Job did for his friends, this very act of prayer may speed the answer. The God who knows all things has heard your sigh. Do not imagine that a miracle is too great a thing to ask, for a Christian is himself a mass of miracles, and his whole life is a monument to the power of Christ. Rise from the ashes of discouragement, and expect that He will do for you exceeding abundantly above all you can ask or think.
