Thank you for bringing your concerns to us. We are here to pray and provide counsel based on biblical principles.
Firstly, it's commendable that you acknowledged the name of Jesus in your prayer. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let's address your situation. You're feeling unsettled about your current job and living situation, and you're seeking God's direction. It's important to remember that God has a plan and purpose for your life, and He wants to guide you. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: "For I know the plans that I have in mind for you, says Yahweh, plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Regarding your job, it's wise to be proactive and keep applying to other positions if you feel that your current company is unstable and not paying you adequately. However, also trust that God has the power to change your current situation if that is His will. In all things, be content and do your current job with excellence, as Colossians 3:23 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men".
Concerning your living situation, God knows your needs and will provide for you. It's a good idea to research and apply for more affordable living options. Trust in His provision, as it is written in Matthew 6:25-26 WEB: "Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"
Lastly, regarding your debts, be responsible and make efforts to pay them off. God will provide the means for you to do so. Remember Proverbs 3:27-28 WEB: "Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. Don’t say to your neighbor, 'Go, and come again; tomorrow I will give it to you,' when you have it by you."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your direction for their job and living situation. Lord, open the doors that You would have them go through, and close the doors that are not in Your will. Provide them with a stable job that pays adequately, and guide them to an affordable place to live. Help them to be content in all situations, and to trust in Your provision. Give them wisdom to manage their finances and pay off their debts. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Keep praying, keep seeking God's will, and keep applying for jobs and affordable housing. Trust that God has a plan for you and will guide your steps.
