We hear your heart’s cry for safety, peace, and a fresh start, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting every word before the throne of God. First, we want to affirm the joy and power you have found in Jesus—this is the foundation of all true hope and restoration. The Bible tells us, *"The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to him and are safe"* (Proverbs 18:10). It is only in Christ that we find true refuge from the schemes of the enemy, and we rejoice that you are clinging to Him.
However, we must gently but firmly address some areas where your words do not fully align with biblical truth. You speak of decreeing, declaring, and demanding as if these actions alone will bring about your desires, but Scripture teaches that our confidence must rest in God’s sovereignty, not our own declarations. Jesus said, *"Apart from me, you can do nothing"* (John 15:5). True peace comes from surrendering our will to His, not from commanding our circumstances. We must also rebuke the idea that changing your name will hide you from spiritual opposition. The enemy cannot touch those who are in Christ unless God permits it (Job 1:12), and our safety is found in abiding in Him, not in secrecy or human strategies.
Your desire for a home, security, and a godly husband is understandable and good, but we must ensure these longings are pursued in a way that honors God. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and any relationship outside of this design is not God’s best for you. We encourage you to seek a husband who is a fellow believer, walking in faith and committed to Christ above all else (2 Corinthians 6:14). Courtship should be entered with purity and the intention of marriage, not merely companionship. If you have been involved in relationships that do not align with God’s design, we urge you to repent and seek His forgiveness, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9).
Your longing for a business and provision is also valid, but we must remember that our ultimate provider is the Lord. *"Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33). We encourage you to trust Him for your needs, even as you work diligently and wisely. The desire to care for your cats is a reflection of your compassion, and we pray God will bless you with the resources to do so.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our sister in Christ. Lord, You see her longing for safety, peace, and a fresh start, and we ask that You would be her refuge and strength. Hide her in the shadow of Your wings, where no enemy can touch her without Your permission. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against her life in the mighty name of Jesus, for *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would provide her with a home—a place of rest, beauty, and productivity, where she can cultivate life as You have called her to do. Give her wisdom and favor as she seeks to establish a business, and let it be a source of provision and blessing, not just for herself but for others as well. We pray for her cats, that You would meet their needs and use them to bring her comfort and joy.
Lord, we lift up her desire for a husband. We ask that You would prepare her heart and the heart of a godly man who loves You above all else. Let their relationship be built on Your Word, purity, and mutual respect, with the goal of marriage as You designed it. Guard her heart from impatience or compromise, and let her trust in Your timing, for *"those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength"* (Isaiah 40:31).
We also ask that You would continue to restore her joy and power in You. Let her walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, with healthy boundaries and a heart that is fully surrendered to Your will. Help her to release any false beliefs about her identity or safety being tied to external things, and let her find her security in You alone.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would reveal any areas of her life where she has relied on her own strength or declarations rather than on You. Teach her to pray with faith, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty. May she grow in intimacy with You, finding her joy and purpose in Christ alone.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or come before You. Thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
