Beloved of All
Pls pray for me to decide if i need to transfer to a new job. Pls pray that i will now have the company that will inspire me to work happily. PLS Pray that this will be a good decision. PLS pray that I will have clear signs to transfer by January ###. Thanks for praying

We join you in bringing this important decision before the Lord and we thank you for asking us to pray with you about whether to transfer to a new job.

We understand the desire to find work where you can serve with joy and inspiration and to have clear direction about such a significant change by January. God cares about the work of our hands and He wants to guide us. We are reminded in Proverbs 3:5-6 to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And in Psalm 32:8 He promises I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. When we face decisions we are also encouraged in James 1:5 that If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. The Lord does give wisdom and He can give peace and clarity, not only through signs but through His Word, through prayer, through godly counsel, and through the quiet leading of the Holy Spirit.

We also remember that whatever work we do is ultimately for Him. Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We pray that wherever He leads you, whether to stay or to transfer, you will find purpose in working heartily for Christ and that He will place you where your gifts can be used for His glory and where you can work with contentment and integrity. Proverbs 16:3 encourages us to Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed, and Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

We did notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to gently share why this is so important to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we are told There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to confess Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name that we can come boldly before God with every need, including this decision about your job.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up our dear friend to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that You know the plans You have for this life and for this career. We ask that You grant wisdom and discernment about this possible transfer. Make the right path clear and give a deep and abiding peace about the decision that honors You. If it is Your will for a transfer to happen by January, we ask that You open the doors that no one can shut and close the doors that should remain closed. Lead to a company and a position where there will be opportunity to work with joy, to grow, to be an encouragement to others, and to glorify You through honest and faithful work. Guard from making a hasty or anxious decision and help to wait on Your timing and to trust Your provision. We commit this plan to You and ask that You establish the steps. We pray all of this in the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in the Scriptures, to seek wise counsel from mature believers who know you, and to watch for how God confirms His will through His Word and through peace in your heart. We trust that as you acknowledge Him, He will direct your path and we are praying that you will have clarity and confidence in the good decision He leads you to make.

We're standing with you in this in between season, and we understand why you want both peace and clarity before January. Wanting work that inspires you and lets you serve gladly is a good and honest desire, and asking God for wisdom in the decision is the right place to start.

As you wait, it can help to make the choice more concrete. You might take some time to write down what inspiring and happy work looks like for you, the values, strengths and kind of team where you do your best. Then gather steady information about the new opportunity and your current role, so you are comparing realities, not just hopes. It also helps to invite one or two trusted, wise people who know you well to talk it through with you. Often God brings clarity through counsel, prayer and a clear view of our gifts as much as through a single sign.

We are asking God to give you calm discernment in these weeks ahead.

Father, we lift our friend to You as they weigh this job decision. Grant clear wisdom, open eyes to see the opportunities honestly, and a settled peace as they seek Your will. Lead them to the place where they can use the gifts You have given and work with joy. We trust this to You in Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Your request concerning this weighty decision about your work has been brought before the Lord with prayer and sympathy.

We understand the desire for a place of labor where you may work with cheerfulness and diligence, and the longing for a clear token to guide you before January. It is right to seek direction from Him who guides His people with His counsel, for as it is written, Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

There is a path of wisdom which no keen eye of man can of itself discover. As Job was taught, men may dig deep as miners for silver and gold, yet wisdom is not found in that eager searching alone. It is revealed by the Lord Himself. We are not to lean upon our own hurried judgments, for haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life, but to bow with submission to the will of God, and by that very submission we are furnished with unerring guidance. He guides not only by inward impressions, but by great principles infused in the heart, to avoid everything that is evil and to do that which is well pleasing in His sight, and by the counsel of His Word and the godly counsel of others.

Do not, therefore, seek merely for a sign to confirm your own wish, but seek first to know the mind of Christ. Ask whether the new place will enable you to walk with a clear conscience before God, to maintain integrity, to provide honestly, and to serve Christ in your calling. A clear conscience is a better armor than any outward prosperity, and holiness is near akin to perfect wisdom. If you do not have clear views about these things, it is wisdom to wait upon the Lord until you have them. Job sinned not nor charged God foolishly when all was taken and all was uncertain, but he worshipped and waited till the Lord turned his captivity. The Lord can give clear shining after rain, and often after a season of cloud He makes the tender grass to spring with fresh brightness.

We have prayed for you, and we continue to pray, that the Lord will grant you a clear understanding, that He will sober your mind with heavenly wisdom, that He will keep you from rash haste, and that He will open and close doors in His providence so that you may discern His way. We have asked that whether you remain or are transferred, you may do all as unto the Lord, and find your happiness not merely in outward inspiration, but in knowing that your labor is faithful service to Him who has called you.

Our prayer for you is this: O gracious Father, look upon Thy servant in this time of decision. Give fresh oil and renewed strength for every duty. Grant not only outward signs, but inward wisdom, a heart submissive to Thy will, and eyes to see Thy hand. If it be for Thy glory and for good, make the path plain, and if it be otherwise, give contentment and patience to wait. Keep from all that would darken counsel by words without knowledge, and lead by Thy counsel in Thy perfect time. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our wisdom and our guide, Amen.

Cast your care upon Him, be diligent in prayer, seek counsel from the Word and from wise and godly friends, and trust that He who has guided you hitherto will not leave you without direction.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
