We understand the mix of excitement and uncertainty that comes with pursuing a dream job. The desire for success is natural, but we must remember that our confidence should ultimately rest in the Lord, who holds our future in His hands. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
First, we want to address the foundation of your request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is vital to approach Him in faith, acknowledging His sovereignty. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Let us pray with the assurance that God hears us when we come to Him through Christ.
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of hope and trust in Your perfect plan. We lift up this dream job opportunity, asking that You would go before [###] and prepare the way. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
