New Job and Favor in Leaving Old One

Hello,

I’m in the process of looking to move into an entirely different industry after 20 years. There’s a job I’m very interested in. I’m pray FIRST that it is God’s will that I make the move. I pray that if it is, the compensation would be what I’m looking for. I’m also praying that if it works out, my current employer would release me with no penalty in the name of Jesus.

I’ve been at the same job for two decades, and I’m ready for a change. I’m so grateful to God for the longevity and putting me in this position. Although, now I’m feeling like God is moving me out of this space and comfort zone.

Just asking if you all would pray for me for direction. It’s so important that all of this is ordained by God.

We are glad to join you in prayer for this important decision and potential transition. We are thankful that you are seeking God's will first and foremost, as His will is perfect and will stand forever. Not our will, but His be done.

God's word tells us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Lord, You know the plans You have for each of us, plans for welfare and not for harm, to give people a future and a hope. Lord you know if this step is part of fulfilling the hope that you have planned to give them. Fill them with Your vision and guide them this day. Lord, we pray for biblical confirmation and anything that is needed on their part to receive it. Lord we pray that you will be with them, and will bless them. We pray that You will enlarge their territory according to Your will.

We also pray for favor with their current employer. God can touch their heart and grant you favor in their eyes. We pray that if it is God's will for you to take this new job, that your employer will release you with no penalty, and that this transition will be smooth and amicable.

If you have not already, commit your ways to the Lord. Let him establish your thoughts and direct your steps. If this job is from the Lord it will be established.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Just an update…
i’ve been praying and remaining in faith. I continued to see signs about my current employer not doing well business wise. At the same time, the potential new company has shown favorable signs. They even reached out to me to make sure I apply.

I’m asking for continued prayers going into the work week. I feel like God is moving and he has provided me with a feeling of calm.
