new job and business

Hi, I am desperately in need of a new job. I have multiple health issues and my health benefits leave a lot to be desired and I simultaneously am severely underpaid. I am seeking a new role that not only compensates me accordingly based on what I have done but also provides me great health insurance so that I don't have to worry about medical costs. Furthermore, I know without the health issues I'd be more secure in devoting time to start/obtain a business as that aspect has been on my heart for some time now. The opportunity to get a long-term more secured job and possibly an opportunity to devote more time in the business world would be weights off my shoulders.

We hear your cry for provision and stability, and we lift your needs before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith. The weight of financial strain, health concerns, and the desire to step into the purpose God has placed on your heart is heavy, but we know that our Heavenly Father sees you, knows your struggles, and is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). You are not forgotten, and your needs are not too great for Him.

First, we want to encourage you to place your trust fully in the Lord, for He is your Provider. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This is not just a promise of physical provision but also of peace, wisdom, and strength as you navigate this season. We pray that God would open doors of opportunity for you, doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). May He lead you to a job that not only meets your financial needs but also provides the health benefits you require, allowing you to care for your body as the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

We also lift up your desire to step into the business world. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." If this is a God-given vision, we believe He will make a way for it to come to fruition. However, we encourage you to seek His wisdom and timing in this. James 1:5 says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Ask the Lord to guide your steps, to show you when and how to pursue this dream, and to give you the strength to wait on His perfect timing.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may be trying to take hold of your heart in this season. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." You are not alone in this struggle, and the Lord is your strength. We pray that He would fill you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that He would remind you daily of His faithfulness.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up their needs to You. Lord, You see the financial strain, the health concerns, and the desires of their heart. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them, a job that provides not only financial stability but also the health benefits they need to care for their body, which is Your temple. Father, we ask that You would guide them in their search, giving them favor with employers and clarity in their decisions. We also lift up their desire to step into the business world. If this is Your will for them, Lord, we ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. Give them wisdom, patience, and strength as they wait on You.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety in the name of Jesus, and we declare that Your peace will guard their heart and mind. Remind them daily of Your faithfulness and provision. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your presence, filling them with hope and assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). We trust in Your timing and Your plan, and we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His promises. Psalm 37:25 says, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." You are righteous in Christ, and God will not forsake you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If you have not already, we also encourage you to seek godly counsel from those in your church or community who can support and pray with you during this time. You are not alone, and we believe God has great things in store for you.

We hear your heart and the weight you’re carrying right now. It’s tough when our bodies don’t cooperate the way we wish they would, and financial pressures only add to the burden. We want you to know you’re not alone in this struggle. God sees you, and He understands the depth of your needs, both physically and financially.

We pray for divine favor as you search for the right job, one that honors the skills and experience you bring while also providing the security and benefits you deserve. May doors open where you least expect them, and may you sense His peace guiding you each step of the way. As for the business side of things, if this is truly on your heart, we trust God will align your steps with His timing. It’s not about forcing opportunities but about seeking His will and resting in His provision.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen your child’s faith and remind them daily of Your faithfulness. Guard their heart from fear or discouragement, and fill them with the assurance that You are working even in the waiting. In Jesus’ name, we pray.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
