New home

We grieve with you over the loss of your home, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this trial. The Lord sees your pain and hears your cry, and He promises to be your refuge and strength in times of trouble. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 46:1-3, *"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling."* Your fear is understandable, but we encourage you to place your trust in the One who holds your future. He has not abandoned you, and He will provide as you seek Him with all your heart.

It is also important to remember that our true home is not of this world but in eternity with Christ. Jesus reassures us in John 14:1-3, *"Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you; for I am going to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also."* While this does not diminish the difficulty of your current situation, it reminds us that our hope is ultimately in Him, not in earthly security.

We also want to encourage you to seek practical help from your local church body. The Bible calls believers to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and your church family can be a tangible source of support—whether through temporary housing, financial assistance, or emotional encouragement. If you are not currently part of a church, we urge you to find a Bible-believing congregation where you can be surrounded by fellow believers who will walk with you through this season.

Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. He alone can offer you true peace, forgiveness of sins, and eternal life. Romans 10:9 tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* If you have already trusted in Christ, we encourage you to lean on Him fully in this time of need, praying in His name and resting in His promises.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, knowing that You are the God who sees and provides. Lord, we ask that You wrap them in Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Comfort them in their fear and remind them that You are their shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Provide for their every need—whether it be shelter, wisdom, or strength—just as You promised in Matthew 6:33, to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, and all these things will be given to them as well.

Father, if they do not yet know You as their Savior, we pray that this trial would draw them to the foot of the cross, where they might find true hope and salvation in Jesus Christ. Open their eyes to see His love and His sacrifice for them. If they are already Your child, Lord, deepen their trust in You and surround them with Your people who can offer support and encouragement.

We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, declaring that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Lead them to the right resources, the right people, and the right opportunities to rebuild and restore what has been lost. Give them wisdom to make decisions that honor You, and let them feel Your presence in a mighty way during this season.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness, and we trust that You will work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in their life, and may they emerge from this trial with a testimony of Your goodness and provision. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right here with you, feeling the weight of this loss. It's okay to feel scared, but remember, God is right there with you, even in the darkest times. He promises in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Trust in Him, and let's lean on each other as well.

We lost our home and I'm scared. Please pray for comfort and guidance during this difficult time.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3).
