We hear the deep distress and fear in your words, and our hearts ache for the turmoil you and your family are enduring. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and oppression. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee must bow, including the forces of darkness (Philippians 2:9-11). You are not alone, and you are not without hope.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are facing. Your stepfather’s behavior is not of God, and we rebuke every demonic influence over him and this situation in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). You are not fighting a human battle alone, God is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

We also want to gently remind you that salvation and protection come only through Jesus Christ. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Him, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Jesus is your shield, your fortress, and your deliverer (Psalm 18:2). Call upon Him, and He will answer.

Now, we lift you and your daughters up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. We lift up this precious family to You, Lord. You see their fear, their pain, and their desperation for safety. We ask that You would be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and destruction that is seeking to harm them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn.

Lord, we pray for urgent provision, a safe place for them to live, far from harm. You are the God who provides (Genesis 22:14), and we trust You to open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Protect them from those who seek to harm them, and let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7). Give them wisdom and discernment to know when to act and where to go. Shield their hearts from sadness and despair, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we pray for their pets as well, You care for every creature, and we ask that You would keep them safe under Your watchful eye. We also pray for their family members, that they would not be deceived or drawn into harm’s way. Break every chain of darkness over this situation, Lord, and let Your light shine brightly.

We speak life over this family. We declare that they will not be overtaken by evil, but they will overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21). Strengthen them, Lord, and remind them that You are with them wherever they go (Joshua 1:9). Help them to walk in Your will, to trust in You, and to find rest in Your presence.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

1. Seek Help Immediately: If you feel physically threatened, contact local authorities or a domestic violence hotline. Your safety is paramount.
2. Find a Safe Place: Reach out to trusted friends, family, or a local church that can help you secure temporary housing. God often provides through His people.
3. Guard Your Heart and Mind: The enemy wants to fill you with fear and despair, but God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Meditate on Scripture and declare God’s promises over your life.
4. Pray Without Ceasing: Keep praying and standing on God’s Word. The enemy flees when we resist him in faith (James 4:7).
5. Trust God’s Timing: Even when it feels impossible, God is working behind the scenes. He knows your needs before you ask (Matthew 6:8).

You are a child of God, and He has not forgotten you. He collects every tear (Psalm 56:8) and hears every cry. Keep your eyes on Him, and He will lead you to safety. We stand with you in faith, believing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. You are loved, you are valued, and you will overcome this trial.

In the meantime, stick with your instinct: avoid the main house unless absolutely unavoidable. You are not being dramatic, you are protecting the lives God has entrusted to you. Even when it feels like you are fighting alone, you are not alone. The enemy may rage, but Christ is your refuge, and He is neither surprised nor shaken by any human’s madness. We are praying that God will carve a path for you, provide a home where you can breathe and rest, and shield every member of your household, two‑legged and four‑legged alike.

Lord Jesus, we lift this woman and her daughters before You. Surround them with Your hidden protection. Open a door to a dwelling that is safe and undisclosed, and give them practical wisdom and helpers along the way. Calm their hearts amid the storm. Silence the voices that tell them they will be destroyed, and replace dread with the steady knowledge that You are with them. Keep their pets safe too. Bring peace where terror has reigned, and let them find a place where they can simply survive and begin to heal. In Your mighty name, Amen.

The Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. I hear your cry for a secret dwelling, removed far from the face of him who acts as a roaring lion. Yet know that your truest hiding place is not built of brick or hidden by geography, but is found under the shadow of the Almighty. The Lord sees your distress, and He has found a ransom, the precious blood of Jesus, that delivers from the pit of despair and from the power of darkness.

Do not think it strange that this trial has come. Troubles do not spring out of the dust; even this evil lies within the fence of Omnipotent overruling. The Lord permits the fiery furnace to test you, but He sits as the Refiner. Your stepfather’s rage, though it seem satanic, is hemmed in by a chain held in the Father’s hand. That which you receive from this rod may yet bear the blessed aspect of chastening, driving you closer to the One who is your shield.

Yet wisdom is justified of her children. There is no sin in seeking a place of retirement when pursued by malice. Did not David flee from Saul, and was not the Christ-child carried into Egypt? Be prudent, and trust God to lead you to a quiet habitation. But know this: outward secrecy cannot save you unless your inner life is hid with Christ in God. The soul that dwells in the secret place of communion with the Lord is a garden enclosed, a spring shut up, watered by the living streams from the deep that lieth under. Guard that secret spring, and let it flow forth in confidence, not in fear.

I charge you, do not give way to sorrow as those who have no hope. The Lord who delivered you from the guilt of sin shall also deliver you from this present evil. Cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you. Not a sparrow falls without His knowledge, and your daughters and your animals are under His watchful eye. You are not fighting alone; the battle is the Lord’s. Your own strength will fail, but the power that brought Israel from the house of bondage will bring you forth. It is not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit.

Stand still, and see the salvation of God. Let your prayer be not only for a secret home outwardly, but for the cleansing from any secret fault that would give the enemy a foothold. And then go forward, not in the anxiety of a fugitive, but in the quiet confidence of a child led by the Father. Say with the psalmist, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” The blood of Jesus speaks peace to your troubled heart and secures your eternal safety. Soon the noise of the archers shall cease, and you shall sing songs of deliverance. Be of good courage; the Lord will both guide your steps and be your eternal refuge.

Bind yourselves together with those who fear God. And if you are urgent and in haste, for this very cause I bid you urge not, because you are in haste. Let us not require all things at once, but what is possible; soon we shall have made our way to the rest.

More grievous than a demon is sin, for the demon makes men humble. See those possessed with a demon: when they have recovered, how downcast they are, how full of shame, yet their condition is not a subject for shame but for pity and admiration, when struggling against such a spirit they bear all thankfully. For he who dares to face danger for the work of God, like Epaphroditus who was nigh unto death to attend to Paul, regards not his own life; such a one may bind about his brow the crown of martyrdom.

Is there no repentance? There is repentance, and it has great force. It is able to set free even him that is come into the very depth of wickedness, and to form Christ in us again. Do not despair because you are alone; for even if you depart young, you depart in safety, and if you should come to old age, you arrive with great provision made. Cast out the venom of sin from your soul, and the demons will flee. Through the grace and love toward man of our Lord Jesus Christ, with Whom to the Father be glory, together with the Holy Ghost, now and ever, world without end. Amen.

The terror you are feeling is real, and the danger is not imaginary. When a person in your own household begins acting with such sudden, unhinged hostility, you are right to see it as more than a mere argument. This is a spiritual assault, and the enemy is using your stepfather as a weapon. Recognize the nature of the conflict. You are not fighting against flesh and blood. The threats, the psychotic messages, the timing that seems designed to unravel you, these bear the mark of demonic harassment. But recognition is the first step toward freedom. Until you see that this is an attack from the pit, you will exhaust yourself trying to reason with unreason or respond in the flesh. Now recognize it for what it is, and you can begin to deal with it directly.

Run into the name of the Lord. It is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe. You have been crying out for a secret place, a refuge where your stepfather cannot find you or harm your daughters, your offspring, and your pets. The deepest need is not just a new address but the shelter of God’s presence. Under His wings you will find trust. Picture a mother bird ruffling out her feathers and hiding her young from danger. That is the covering available to you right now, even before you pack a single box. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard against him. Your true hiding place is not a basement or a distant state; it is in Christ. He knows the secrets of the righteous, and His secret counsel will guide your steps.

Practical steps are not unspiritual. Nehemiah’s workers rebuilt the wall with a trowel in one hand and a sword in the other. Half worked while half stood watch with spears. They were vigilant. So you, while trusting wholly in God, should take sensible measures. If the Lord is prompting you to move in secret and put distance between your family and this erratic man, then do so with wisdom and urgency. Do not announce your plans. Do not return to the main house unless absolutely necessary. Protect your daughters and your animals as a faithful steward. God holds you responsible for the care of your household, and anyone who neglects that duty denies the faith. It is not a lack of trust to place a locked door between your family and a person acting with destructive intent; it is obedience to the charge to guard what has been entrusted to you.

Yet remember that no location can make you untouchable if you are trying to escape spiritual realities. Demonic beings are not limited by geography the way a human stalker is. A horde of them cannot be stopped by a closed closet door. But here is the dividing line: God places a seal upon His own. Those who belong to Jesus are marked. The destructive locusts are told not to harm the grass or any green thing, but only those who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. The enemy may rage and threaten to tear you to pieces, but his power is strictly limited by the command of God. You are not to be touched beyond what your Father permits, and He always purposes your ultimate safety and sanctification.

Resist the devil, and he will flee. After you have recognized the attack, resist it. Speak aloud the authority you have in the blood of Jesus. Declare that the curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked, but He blesses the dwelling place of the just. Your new home, wherever it is, can be a blessed dwelling because you are the righteousness of God in Christ. Do not let sorrow dominate you. There is a third step after recognizing and resisting, and that is rejoicing. It is not a denial of danger but a weapon. Even now, as you are forced to let go of certain dreams and move quickly, you can say with the prophet, “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” The enemy wants you crushed under a weight of sadness, convinced that he is stealing your happiness. But your light is not extinguished. You have been a light, and you will continue to be one, because the darkness cannot overcome it.

Do not isolate yourself in fear. The family of God is meant to be a refuge. Older women as mothers, younger as sisters with all purity. There is safety in the body of Christ. Let trusted believers know how to pray and perhaps offer practical help. You are not alone, even if your physical address must be kept secret for a season. And as for your household, take heart from the jailer who, after his own sudden encounter with the power of God, was saved along with all his family that very night. God’s heart is for entire families. Your daughters and even your pets are under His watchful eye. He is able to keep them from being used or broken by this man’s madness.

Do not look back in despair at what this upheaval seems to be costing you. The Lord knows what you need to survive. Sometimes the dream must be laid on the altar for a while, not abandoned forever. The Israelites rebuilt their wall in fifty-two days because the people had a mind to work and because God was with them. He can establish you again with astonishing speed once the immediate threat is past. For now, let your prayer be, “Guard my life, for I am devoted to You. You are my God; save Your servant who trusts in You.” Trust puts you in a place of safety that no bank vault, no secret location, no human ally can match. Rest tonight under that covering, and tomorrow rise to walk in the practical, shielded path He sets before you. He is your Kinsman Redeemer, the One who buys back what the enemy tried to steal. He will not let your family name or your own life be blotted out.
