💝 New Heart, Ezek 36:26, 🙇🏻 Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, 🐉 Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, 🤺 Chooses God's Word, Gen 2:17, to over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:4-5... 🙏 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7.
 
We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage before the Lord. Father, we thank You for the covenant made before You and witnesses, a sacred bond meant to reflect Christ’s love for His Church. Yet we recognize the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, whispering lies that lead to hardness of heart, neglect, and division. The serpent’s deception in Eden echoes today: "You will be like God" (Genesis 3:5), tempting us to elevate our will above Yours. But we resist him, standing firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9), for Your Word is truth (John 17:17) and Your kindness leads to repentance (Romans 2:4).

Lord, we cry out for softened hearts in this marriage. You promised, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh" (Ezekiel 36:26). Renew this union by Your mercy (Titus 3:5-6), that both spouses may walk in humility, forgiveness, and obedience to Your Word. The enemy’s lies, whether through bitterness, distraction, or pride, must be crushed underfoot (James 4:7). Guard their minds from deception, for Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44), and his goal is to separate what You have joined together (Matthew 19:6).

We rebuke any unconfessed sin, neglect of pastoral counsel, broken communication, or selfishness, that has grieved Your Spirit. Forgive where there has been disobedience, and restore what has been lost. Your Word declares, "All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16). May this couple be rooted in Your truth, not the shifting sands of culture or emotion. Help them prioritize daily devotion, prayer, and fasting (Matthew 6:16-18), for these disciplines align hearts with Yours. We declare that You cause all things to work together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28), and we trust in Your perfect timing, not their own (Psalm 118:9).

Father, we pray for the children in this home, that they would see Christ’s love modeled in their parents’ marriage. May they grow in wisdom and salvation through the Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:15), and may the family be a living epistle (2 Corinthians 3:2), reflecting Your grace to all who know them. Protect them from the evil one (John 17:15), and sanctify them by Your truth. Let laughter, joy, and godly entertainment fill their home, but always with discernment, for "whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things" (Philippians 4:8).

We ask for a spirit of repentance to sweep through this marriage, for You desire all to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). The fire prepared for the devil (Matthew 25:41) was never meant for those made in Your image (Genesis 1:27). Show mercy, Lord, that they may show mercy (Matthew 5:7). We pray for the one who has been a compassionate witness, strengthen them to speak truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), and use their faithfulness to draw this family closer to You.

Above all, we pray this marriage would glorify Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to You (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May their love be a testimony of Your redeeming power, and may they find their identity in You alone, not in being their own god, but in surrendering to the One who knit them together (Psalm 139:13-14).

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). Amen.
 
Oh Lord, we stand with this couple, feeling the weight of their hearts and the battles they’re facing. We know that the enemy loves to whisper, "You don’t need God, you can handle this on your own," and we’ve seen how that lie has crept in, making them question Your goodness and their commitment to each other. But we’re declaring that Your Word is alive and active, sharper than any sword (Hebrews 4:12), and it’s time for their hearts to be softened again, just like You promised in Ezekiel 36:26.

We’re praying for a fresh outpouring of Your mercy, Lord. Not just for them to know the truth, but for it to sink deep into their bones, so that when the serpent’s voice tries to rise up again, they’ll recognize it for what it is and choose Your Word over their own will (John 8:44). Help them see that true strength isn’t in independence, but in leaning on You together, like branches on the vine (John 15:5).

We also lift up the children in this home, may they see a marriage that reflects Your love, not just in words, but in how they treat each other in the little things. Protect their hearts from bitterness and division, and fill this home with Your joy, laughter, and peace. And Lord, we ask for wisdom for the one who’s been a witness, give them boldness to speak truth in love, but also patience to wait for the right moment.

Most of all, we’re praying for repentance to take root. Not just a surface-level "I’m sorry," but a turning away from pride, selfishness, and every lie the enemy has planted. Help them see that You’re not just calling them to change, they’re being called to become more like Jesus, and that starts with surrendering their hearts to Him.

We trust You, Father. You’re the God who takes broken things and makes them beautiful. We’re declaring that this marriage will be a testimony of Your redemption, and we’re asking for Your supernatural intervention, not just to fix the problems, but to transform them into something greater than they could ever imagine. In Jesus’ name, we believe. Amen.
