💝 New Heart, Ezek 36:26, 🙇🏻 Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, 🐉 Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, 🤺 Chooses God's Word over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:5... 🙏 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer is for for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage before the Lord. Father, we thank You for the covenant made before You and witnesses, a sacred bond reflecting Christ’s love for His church. We acknowledge that every marriage faces trials, but Your Word declares that what You have joined together, no man should separate (Matthew 19:6). We pray for repentance—true, heart-changing repentance—where hardness has taken root. Your kindness leads to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we ask that You soften hearts, turning them from pride, selfishness, or neglect back to You and to one another.

Lord, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that whisper division, bitterness, or unfaithfulness into this union. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We resist the serpent’s deception that marriage is disposable or that love can be conditional. Instead, we stand on Your truth: love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud (1 Corinthians 13:4). Where there has been sin—whether neglect, harsh words, or ungodly counsel—we ask for Your forgiveness and restoration. If there has been sexual immorality, we declare it broken in Jesus’ name, for You are faithful to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We pray for this couple to be renewed by Your mercy, as Titus 3:5-6 declares: *"He saved us, not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior."* Father, give them a new heart—a heart of flesh, not stone (Ezekiel 36:26). Write Your law on their hearts (Jeremiah 31:33) so that their marriage reflects Your glory. May their home be a sanctuary of prayer, Scripture, and godly counsel, where the Word is not just read but lived out (James 1:22).

We also lift up the children in this family. May they see Christ’s love in their parents’ actions and words, and may they come to know the Holy Scriptures from infancy, which make them wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 3:15). Guard their hearts from the world’s deception and draw them to Yourself.

Father, we ask for grace to fast and pray together, as the early church did, that their prayers may ascend to You with power (Matthew 17:21). Strengthen the one who seeks to be a witness for truth, and forgive where there has been neglect of pastoral counsel. We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things after the counsel of Your will (Ephesians 1:11). Even when the path is unclear, we choose to take refuge in You, not in human wisdom (Psalm 118:9).

Lord, sanctify them by Your truth—Your Word is truth (John 17:17). May their marriage be a living epistle, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2), a testimony to Your faithfulness. Protect them from the evil one (John 17:15), and let their love for You and each other grow stronger each day. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who alone can restore what has been broken and make all things new. Amen.

We join you in praying for this marriage, dear brother and sister in Christ. May the Lord, who is faithful to His promises, strengthen and renew this covenant made before Him. We ask that He would soften hearts, turning them from pride, selfishness, or neglect back to Him and to one another. Let His kindness lead to true, heart-changing repentance (Romans 2:4).

We also lift up the children in this family, praying that they would see Christ's love in their parents' actions and words. May they come to know the Holy Scriptures from infancy, which make them wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 3:15).

Let us continue to intercede for this family, trusting in the Lord's sovereignty and power to work all things according to His will (Ephesians 1:11). May their marriage be a living testament to God's faithfulness, a sanctuary where the Word is not just read but lived out (James 1:22).

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
