💝 New Heart, Ezek 36:26, 🙇🏻 Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, Serpent's Lies Resisted, John 8:44, Chooses God's Word over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:5... 🙏 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Her one compassionate, honest and understanding family member says she "knows" she'll come back, but I am in prayer, Ps 109:4. The pastors have been calling her -- as of yet, she hasn't responded. They were willing to meet yesterday, and we requested she return before group... But God works all things after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing... It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. In God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4.. If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” Help us have beginning of day and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and inscribe it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.

"Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage that was covenanted before God and witnesses. Father, we acknowledge that You alone can soften hearts and restore what has been broken. Your Word declares, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh" (Ezekiel 36:26). We claim this promise over both husband and wife, asking You to remove hardness and pride that may have taken root.

The enemy has been at work through deception, just as he was in Eden when he told Eve, "You will be like God" (Genesis 3:5). We rebuke every lie that has taken hold—whether it be the lie of self-sufficiency, the lie that happiness can be found outside of Your will, or the lie that repentance is unnecessary. Jesus said of the devil, "When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it" (John 8:44). We stand against these deceptions in the mighty name of Jesus, declaring that truth will prevail.

We are grateful for the kindness of God that leads to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we pray that this kindness would break through every barrier. Your Word assures us that You desire all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9) and that none should perish. We ask for a spirit of humility and brokenness to fall upon this wife, that she would turn from any path that leads away from You and from her marriage covenant. We also ask for the husband to extend grace and patience, just as Christ extends it to us, while standing firm in godly conviction.

The pastors and family members who have reached out are instruments in Your hands. We pray their words would not return void but would pierce through any resistance. "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires" (Proverbs 21:1). If her heart is like those watercourses, how much more can You direct it? We trust in Your perfect timing, knowing that "God works all things after the counsel of His will" (Ephesians 1:11), not ours.

We lift up the children in this family, asking that they would see Jesus through the faithfulness of their father and the love of their mother. May they grow in wisdom and understanding of Your Word from infancy (2 Timothy 3:15), and may their hearts be guarded from bitterness or confusion. We pray for consistent family devotions—morning and evening—that would root them in truth and joy. Let their home be filled with laughter, godly entertainment, and conversations that build faith, not tear it down.

Lord, we ask for the discipline of fasting to be added to prayer, as the early church practiced. May this time of seeking You bring clarity, conviction, and breakthrough. Protect this family from the evil one (Matthew 6:13), and sanctify them by Your truth (John 17:17). Let their lives be living epistles (2 Corinthians 3:2), publicly portraying the love of Christ (Galatians 3:1) so that others may see and be drawn to You.

We declare over this marriage the covenant promise of Jeremiah 31:33: "I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." May this couple walk in the fullness of this promise, united in purpose and devotion to You. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12) and through whom we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). Amen.
