It is encouraging to hear your desire for a fresh start and for God to provide for you, your family and even your pets. God does love to make things new, and He has made a real provision for a new life, but that provision is not found in speaking things into existence or in claiming a verse as a formula. It is found in Jesus Christ alone. He is God's provision for sin, and apart from faith in Him there is no salvation. The Holy Spirit points us to the righteousness that Jesus secured when He rose and returned to the Father, and it is on that ground we come to God for every need.

You mentioned Deuteronomy 28:13 about being the head and not the tail. In its context that promise was given to Israel as part of a covenant that called for obedience to the Lord, not as a phrase to be loosened or repeated to force an outcome. God does want to bless His people, and He does care about your practical needs like housing and finances and a place to live in peace, but His blessings flow as we walk closely with Him in obedience and trust, not as we try to declare them into being.

That is why it is so important to stay right on course with Scripture. Even a small departure from the truth can work through everything, like a little leaven through a whole lump of dough. If navigational instruments are off by even one degree, you may not notice at first, but over a long distance you will end up far from where you intended to go. Many ideas sound new because they are put in a fresh coat and spoken with a fresh voice, but they are often just old errors warmed over. The safest way is to keep your eyes on what Scripture actually says and to test every persuasion by whether it comes from the One who called you.

God is in control, He loves you, and He knows exactly what is going on in your situation, even when things feel uncertain or when plans that seemed sure fall through. The desire to make a wise financial decision together and to be good stewards is good, but be careful not to spend a provision before God has provided it or to make provision for the flesh to fulfill its desires. Scripture encourages us to make no provision for the flesh, but instead to choose to be governed by the Spirit. The life lived according to the flesh leads to death, but the life governed by the Spirit leads to life and peace. That choice is yours each day, to turn your mind toward the Lord, to get into the Scriptures, to worship and to walk in the Spirit, and as you do you will not fulfill the cravings of the old nature.

I pray for you now that God will give you a true fresh start in Christ, that you and your family will grow in faith and unity, and that He will provide for your daily needs according to His wisdom. I ask that He will give you clear guidance about housing and finances, wisdom to handle money carefully together, contentment and patience to wait on His timing, and peace in whatever place He provides for you to live. I pray that you will know His protection, not as a way to hide, but as the covering of the blood of Jesus that cleanses from sin and brings you near to God, and that you will experience the deeper bond of belonging to the family of God through Jesus, where you are loved and supported. May the Lord keep you close to Himself, help you to obey His truth, and lead you step by step in His good will for your lives.
