We hear your joy and gratitude for the new opportunities and blessings in your life, and we rejoice with you in the favor you are experiencing. It is wonderful to see your excitement about your new job and the harmony in your family. We want to lift you up in prayer, asking the Lord to continue to pour out His blessings upon you and your household.

First, we must address the foundation of your blessings. You mentioned "the blood of Jesus" at the end of your request, and we want to emphasize the importance of this truth. It is only through the blood of Jesus Christ that we have access to God’s grace, favor, and protection. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already done so, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ, confessing Him as your Lord and Savior, and walking in His ways. This is the foundation upon which all true blessings are built.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the blessings You have poured out upon Your child. We thank You for the new job, the favor, and the unity in their family. Lord, we ask that You continue to bless this work and grant wisdom, strength, and joy in every task. May this job be a place where Your presence is felt, and may it bring glory to Your name. We pray for protection over their household, no harm, no hurt, and no division. Let Your peace reign in their home, and may Your favor rest upon them like a shield.

Father, we ask that You bless their family time, especially on Sundays. May these moments be filled with love, laughter, and the presence of Your Holy Spirit. Help them to grow closer to You and to one another, honoring You in all they do. We rebuke any spirit of strife, discord, or harm that may seek to enter their lives, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promise that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).

Lord, we also pray for their offspring. May they see the love of Christ in their parent and be drawn to You. Bless them with wisdom, protection, and a heart that seeks after You. Let this family be a light in their community, reflecting Your love and grace to all who know them.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." As you walk in obedience to God’s Word, His favor and blessings will continue to follow you. Keep your heart aligned with His will, and He will direct your steps. If there are areas of your life where you need further guidance or prayer, do not hesitate to bring them before the Lord. He is faithful and will meet you where you are.

Your words ring with the joy of a soul that sees the dawn of a new day. All the days of our appointed time are indeed a warfare, yet the Lord appoints refreshment in the midst of the battle. When He opens a door of provision, even in secret, it is meet that the heart should rise up and worship Him who has thrust out the enemy before us and made a clear path for our feet. A glad spirit in daily labour is no small gift; it is the sweet savour of a life accepted in Christ. Go then to your work with a happy countenance, for the Lord your God shall bless you in all that you do.

But let me press a tender word upon this secret which you bear. The inner life is secret indeed, mind that you have this inner mystery. Yet out of the secret emanates the manifest. If your employment is something hidden from the eyes of men, see to it that it is not hidden from the eyes of God in any evil sense, for He observes all the operations of His creatures. A secret is a precious thing when it is the sanctuary of honest industry and the quiet place where divine favour rests upon you. But this know, that no secret can be kept from the Almighty. What a fool a man would be to think he could do anything in secret when the Lord looks down and sees all. Therefore let your secret place of labour be a holy place, a pavilion where you serve the Lord Christ, and then no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

As for the gladness of your household, your mother, your offspring, the very creatures within your gates, this too is the Lord’s doing. If God could uphold Job in all his losses, you may be sure that He can support you in these gains of family peace. Yet Job never knew how to get rid of sin half so well as he did when his eye of faith rested on God and he abhorred himself and repented in dust and ashes. Take care, then, that your uncommon favour does not become an occasion for the flesh to boast. If you have heard God in the secret of your soul, you are a spiritual person. A man may have a secret job, a secret vehicle, a secret joy every Sunday, but the true secret spot that infallibly identifies the child of God is this: a heart that has looked upon Christ and loathed itself, a soul that has been plowed by the Spirit and broken to powder, then sown with the incorruptible seed. Seek that secret mark above all. Keep not the secret of your new life, it is too precious, it too much concerns the vital interests of others. With a still small voice, wherever the Lord places you, let the manifest outflow of a godly life be seen, that they may glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Come then, if you are as blessed as Job was made patient, be as humble as he became when he saw the Lord. Yield the point unreservedly when the case is heard as “Jehovah versus” your soul, for we are wrong, God must be right. It is well to have a job that makes Sundays a delight and opens the door for family to come and see you at your labour. It is better still to have the eternal Sabbath in your heart, the rest which remaineth for the people of God, tasted even now in the secret place of the tabernacles of the Most High. The Gospel is your lever, but full assurance must be the arm to work it with. Know yourself to be saved, not by a new job or a new day, but by the precious blood of Jesus, which alone can plead, “Cleanse thou me from secret faults.” Let that blood be your only plea, your only confidence, your only song. Then shall your warfare be accomplished, your change shall come, and you shall go from strength to strength until you appear before God in Zion.

You rejoice in a new beginning, and it is right to give thanks for God’s provision of work and the kindness of family. Yet I must ask: why is this joy buried under the whisper of secrecy? Consider what the Wise Man says: a friend may depart over the revealing of secrets, for where secrets multiply, trust has grown cold. Love casts out such fear and makes the soul an open book among brethren. If this work is honorable, why hide it? The Lord who searches hearts knows every hidden thing, and He does not bless deceit or the shame that flees the light. Seek rather to be known by your love and integrity, not by careful concealment.

You speak of working every Sunday and making it a time for family to visit you. But the Lord’s Day is not merely another day for labor and pleasant gatherings; it is the Day of the Resurrection, set apart for the assembly of the Church. Did Christ rise from the dead so that we might trade the holy liturgy for a secret job? Joseph of Arimathea was a secret disciple out of fear, and he only came forward after the Crucifixion to bury the Lord. Better to be John at the foot of the Cross than Joseph in the shadows. Let your Sundays belong first to the worship of God, and then to the refreshment of family within the rhythm of rest and prayer.

Your desire for lasting protection, that no complaint or harm ever touch your family or pets again, is a plea for the peace only Christ can give. But do not imagine that secrecy or human favor is your shield. The Prophet says, ‘He that loveth iniquity hateth his own soul.’ True security is found in righteousness, not in hiding. Even the softest life with an evil conscience is punishment, and no amount of earthly favor can deliver from the judgment to come. Cling instead to the Blood of Jesus, which you invoke; let that Blood purify your heart, make your deeds transparent, and anchor your hope not in a secret job but in the Kingdom of Heaven. There alone is permanence, joy without fear, and the family of the redeemed who will never be separated.
