New Day Prayer

What a beautiful and heartfelt prayer for your family! We join you in lifting these requests before the Lord, knowing that He hears and answers according to His perfect will. Your prayer reflects a deep desire for God’s presence, protection, and purpose in your family’s life, and we are encouraged by your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His name that we are saved. As Scripture reminds us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your closing *"in Jesus’ name"* is a powerful declaration of that truth, and we praise God that you have placed your trust in Christ alone.

Your prayer for your family to walk in God’s will is a request that aligns perfectly with His heart. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:10, WEB), and this is our cry for you as well. Walking in God’s will begins with surrender—laying down our own plans, desires, and even fears at His feet. It means seeking Him daily through His Word, prayer, and obedience to His commands. We encourage you to lead your family in this pursuit, perhaps by setting aside time to read Scripture together, pray over one another, and discuss how God is moving in each of your lives. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). When families prioritize God’s will above all else, they become a testimony of His faithfulness and a light in a world that so often strays from His truth.

You’ve also asked for salvation, protection, and healing for your family. These are precious petitions, and we know the Lord delights in the salvation of His people. If there are members of your family who have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus, we urge you to continue praying fervently for them, while also living out your faith in a way that points them to Christ. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). Share the Gospel with them in love, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. For those who already know the Lord, pray that their faith would deepen and that they would grow in their relationship with Him, bearing the fruit of the Spirit: *"love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control"* (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB).

Protection is another vital need, especially in these days when the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we serve a God who is our refuge and strength, *"a very present help in trouble"* (Psalm 46:1, WEB). Claim the promise of Psalm 91 over your family: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. ... He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."* (Psalm 91:1, 4, WEB). Pray specifically for protection over their minds, bodies, and spirits, asking God to guard them from the snares of the enemy, whether through temptation, fear, or physical harm. And remember, protection is not just about avoiding harm—it’s about walking in the fullness of God’s purposes, unshaken by the storms of life.

Healing is a tender subject for many, and we know that God is able to heal every sickness and disease. Yet, we also recognize that His ways are higher than ours, and sometimes healing comes in ways we do not expect—whether through physical restoration, emotional renewal, or the strengthening of faith in the midst of suffering. Jesus demonstrated His compassion by healing the sick, and *"by his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We pray that your family would experience God’s healing touch in every area of need, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. If there are specific illnesses or struggles, we encourage you to name them before the Lord in prayer, trusting that He hears and acts according to His perfect timing and wisdom. And even in waiting, may your family find peace in the truth that *"my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB).

Your prayer for closer relationships in Christ is so important. In a world that often prioritizes superficial connections or individualism, God calls His people to deep, meaningful relationships rooted in love and unity. Jesus prayed for His disciples—and for all believers—*"that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me"* (John 17:21, WEB). This oneness is not just a nice idea; it’s a testimony to the world of the power of the Gospel. We encourage you to foster this unity in your family by prioritizing forgiveness, humility, and selfless love. *"Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:32, WEB). When conflicts arise—as they inevitably will—approach them with grace, seeking reconciliation and understanding. And remember, the closest relationships are built on a foundation of shared faith. Make Christ the center of your family, and you will find that even the hardest seasons draw you closer together in Him.

Finally, you’ve asked for deliverance from evil. This is a critical prayer, for the Bible makes it clear that we are in a spiritual battle. *"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:11-12, WEB). Evil manifests in many forms—temptation, deception, oppression, or even the subtle lies that seek to distort our view of God. But we have authority in Jesus’ name to resist the devil, and *"he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). Pray specifically for areas where you see the enemy trying to gain a foothold in your family’s life. Is there strife, addiction, fear, or unbelief? Bring it before the Lord and declare His victory. Fill your home with worship, Scripture, and prayer, creating an atmosphere where the enemy cannot thrive. And teach your family to recognize spiritual battles for what they are, equipping them to stand firm in the truth.

As we join you in prayer, let us lift these requests before the throne of grace with boldness and faith:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of this family, thanking You for Your goodness and mercy. Lord, we ask that You would draw each member of this family closer to Yourself, that they would walk in Your will with surrendered hearts. Save those who do not yet know You, Lord, and let Your Spirit move mightily in their lives, bringing them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Protect this family from the schemes of the enemy—guard their minds, their bodies, and their spirits. Heal them, Lord, in every area of brokenness, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Let Your healing power flow through them, restoring them to wholeness in You.

Father, we pray for unity and love to abound in this family. Let their relationships be rooted in Christ, marked by forgiveness, patience, and selflessness. May they encourage one another daily, spurring each other on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). Deliver them from evil, Lord. Break every chain, every stronghold, and every lie that the enemy has tried to plant in their lives. Fill their home with Your presence, Your peace, and Your truth. Let them be a light in this world, a family that reflects Your glory and draws others to You.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen this family, Lord, and let them stand firm in the faith, unshaken by the storms of life. May they know beyond a shadow of a doubt that You are with them, that You are for them, and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen."*

We also want to encourage you to continue standing in faith for your family. It can be easy to grow weary in prayer, especially when answers seem delayed or circumstances feel overwhelming. But remember, *"Let’s not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we don’t give up"* (Galatians 6:9, WEB). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep pointing your family to Jesus. And as you do, may you find strength in the promise that *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:15-16, WEB).

If there are specific struggles or joys within your family that you’d like to share, we would love to pray over them more intentionally. And if you ever feel led to seek counsel or wisdom on how to navigate certain challenges, we are here to walk alongside you with biblical truth and encouragement. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Stand firm in Him, dear brother or sister—He is faithful!

Dear friend, we join you in praying for your family today. What a beautiful request to walk in God's will, to be saved, protected, and healed. We are reminded of the apostle Paul's words in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Let's pray:

"Father, we come to you today on behalf of this dear family. We thank you for their desire to walk in your will, to know your protection, and to experience your healing power. Lord, we ask that you would draw each member of this family closer to you. Help them to surrender their wills to yours, trusting in your perfect plan for their lives.

Save those who do not yet know you, Lord. Let your Spirit move mightily in their lives, bringing them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Protect this family, Lord. Guard their minds, their bodies, and their spirits from the schemes of the enemy. Heal them, Lord. Heal them in every area of brokenness, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual.
