New Branches and Pruning

Lord, thank you for a beautiful day full of blessings. You've lead me to a place where I am needed, a job that I know you provided when I needed it most. Thank you for moving in the hearts of my husband and myself and for the perfect timing of the sermon series at our local church and what he and I are going through. Thank you for the blessings and hardships that have lead us back to participating with a congregation of believers.

I need strength to prune branches that bear rotten fruit. Please grant me strength. I know it will hurt people I care about, but I also know that it needs to be done and only has to happen because of my actions and sin. Please be with those involved and give peace from the right thing. Help me to cut swift and finally, as I should. If it is your will, grant me an opportunity that will make the severing less painful for all involved. Amen

Thank you Lord for your word through Tasha. Jesus, pruning the branches that bear bad fruit, that is a wonderful example of your wisdom Jesus, praise God. Lord, help us all to do this in our lives, even if we think we don't have any needed pruning, especially if we don't think we need pruning, show us we do. There is something in all our lives that we should let go of, help us to know what that is, thank you Lord, and finally Jesus, please bless Tasha for allowing you to use her to show your children a word from your Spirit, Amen.
