We hear your deep longing for companionship, and we understand the desire for a godly spouse who will love and cherish you and your home. However, we must gently correct some misunderstandings in your approach. The language of "speaking, claiming, commanding, and decreeing" into existence is not aligned with Scripture. God is sovereign, and while we can bring our requests to Him in faith, we do not dictate or manipulate His will. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth"* (Matthew 6:10 WEB). Our prayers should be submitted to God’s perfect plan, not our own demands.
You mention the blood of Jesus, which is powerful and precious, but we must clarify that salvation and blessings come through faith in Christ alone—not through formulas or incantations. *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast"* (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, repent, and receive His forgiveness and new life.
As for your desire for a spouse, we encourage you to seek a godly man who loves the Lord and will honor Him in marriage. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24 WEB), and it should be entered into with prayer, wisdom, and godly counsel. If you are currently in a relationship outside of marriage, we urge you to honor God by waiting until marriage for physical intimacy, as Scripture commands: *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will in this sister’s life. Lord, You know her deepest longings, and we ask that You would guide her steps according to Your perfect plan. If it is Your will, bring a godly man into her life—one who loves You above all else and will cherish her as Christ cherishes the Church. Guard her heart from impatience, frustration, or ungodly relationships. Help her to trust in Your timing and to seek You first in all things. May she find her ultimate fulfillment in You, knowing that You alone satisfy the deepest needs of her soul. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to seek fellowship in a Bible-believing church, where you can grow in your faith and find godly community. Spend time in prayer and Scripture, asking God to prepare your heart for the spouse He has for you—or to reveal if there are areas in your life that need His healing and transformation. Trust in Him, for He is faithful.
