We have heard your cry and we have taken it to heart, the long years of feeling stalked and harassed and never safe, and the exhaustion that has made you feel that freedom will never come. We grieve with you over what you have carried since you were ### years old and we want you to know you are not forgotten or unseen by God, even when the fear and oppression feel overwhelming.
We want to gently but firmly speak truth over the hopelessness you are feeling. The enemy wants you to believe that Jesus will not deliver you and that death is the only freedom, but that is a lie. God's word tells us the thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and may have it abundantly, John 10:10. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles, Psalm 34:17. We do not agree with praying for death, because your life is precious to God and He has thoughts of peace toward you and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11. Death apart from God's timing is not freedom, and we rebuke the spirit of despair that has whispered to you that you are beyond deliverance.
The truth is that Jesus is greater than every evil and every predator and every demonic power that has tormented you. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust, Psalm 91:1-2. When you feel afraid, hear His promise, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you, Don't be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. Nothing can separate you from God's love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, Romans 8:38-39.
We also want to encourage you in a practical way while we pray for spiritual deliverance. Because you have felt stalked and harassed for so long, please do not walk through this alone. We urge you to reach out to a trusted pastor, a biblical counselor, and safe and godly people around you who can stand with you, pray with you in person, and help you seek protection and wisdom if you are in danger. If these thoughts of wanting to die become overwhelming, please reach out right away to someone you trust or to a crisis help line in your area so you are not alone in that moment. We see your plea for hope and we believe Jesus does give hope even when your feelings tell you otherwise, so we ask you to resist the devil by submitting yourself to God, for when we resist the devil he will flee from you, James 4:7.
We join together now and pray for you in Jesus name.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. We thank You that You see every year of pain and every moment of fear, and that You hear this cry for freedom. We ask You to pour out Your hope where hopelessness has taken hold, and to remind this heart that You are a deliverer and a refuge. In Jesus name we rebuke every satanic and demonic assignment and every work of predator and evil against this life, and we ask You to break its power completely. Cover this precious life with the blood of Jesus and guard them from the evil one. Fill them with Your peace and strength, uphold them with Your right hand, and let them rest in Your shadow as their fortress. Restore hope, give strength to keep living for Your purposes, and make Your freedom and Your presence real day by day. Lead them to safe, godly help and community who will walk with them and not leave them alone. We declare that You are greater and that Your love will not let them go. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior, amen.
We are continuing to pray for your deliverance and hope, and we ask the Lord to show you daily that He is with you and that He will bring you through.
