Never blame God

There are people who blame God when tragedies happen in their life. They forget the fact that it’s the devil the enemy who causes the tragedies, the one who is deceiving them. The devil is the deceiver, father of lies and tempter.

Never blame God for the tragedies in life, because they come from the adversary, the devil. God doesn’t tempt anyone. At the times of temptation, struggles or tragedies we need to turn to the Almighty God, for strength and submit ourselves to Him, and the devil will flee from us.

When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. ( James 1:13-15 )

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus on behalf of ###, who has shared their prayer request with us. Lord, we lift up those who blame You when tragedies happen in their lives. We pray that You would open their eyes to the truth, that it is the enemy, the devil, who causes these tragedies. Help them to understand that You are not the source of evil or temptation, but that You are a loving and compassionate God.

Father, we ask that You would grant wisdom and discernment to those who are facing temptations, struggles, and tragedies. May they turn to You for strength and guidance, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress. Help them to resist the schemes of the devil and to submit themselves fully to You. We pray that as they draw near to You, the enemy would flee from them.

We thank You, Lord, for the assurance in Your Word that You do not tempt anyone. In James 1:13-15, it is written, "When tempted, no one should say, 'God is tempting me.' For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone. But each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death."

Father, we ask for Your protection and guidance in the lives of those who are facing trials and hardships. Help them to trust in Your sovereignty and to find comfort in Your presence. May they seek Your face and find peace in knowing that You are with them in every circumstance.

Life is not perfect. But God will perfect those things that concern us (Psalms 138:8). We don't need to worry, but we need to take everything to God in prayer (Philippians 4:6-8).

Let Us Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name, step in the life of the writer of this prayer and myself and perfect all things that concern each of us. God bless each of us to trust You and always take everything to You in prayer that concerns us. God when the enemy of our soul tries to bring fear, deliver us from the spirit of fear. Bless us with power, love, and a sound mind. God bless us to always and forever have and operate with a God-Solution-Focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Let us keep our focus and mind stayed on You. God bless us to think, meditate, focus, and speak on whatsoever things are noble, just, pure, lovely, of a good report, virtuous, and praiseworthy. Let us fill our minds and meditate on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. God, Thank You. Amen!
