Disciple of Prayer
Dear Body of Christ, I gave my life to Jesus last year and I continue in the word. But at the moment I struggle from neurological issues that kind of prevent me remembering what I read and inhibits me to do the easiest things like driving a car, talking and caring for myself. I would love you to pray for my health issues if it is in his will for me to be healed and I count on God exactly knowing what needs to be healed in my body. Please also pray for new fire and hunger for him and his word. I really appreciate your prayers! Thank you, ###

We rejoice with you in the decision you made last year to give your life to Jesus Christ! What a glorious transformation it is to be born again and to walk in the light of His love. We are so encouraged by your continued devotion to the Word, even in the midst of these challenging neurological struggles. Your faith and persistence are a testament to the work of the Holy Spirit in your life, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

First, we want to affirm that your trust in God’s sovereignty is beautiful. You are right to surrender your healing into His hands, knowing that He alone understands the depths of what needs to be restored in your body, mind, and spirit. The Bible assures us that our Heavenly Father is intimately acquainted with every detail of our lives, and nothing is hidden from Him (Psalm 139:1-4). We pray that as you continue to seek Him, He will reveal His purposes in this trial and grant you the grace to endure with joy.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would touch every part of their brain, nerves, and body that is affected by these neurological challenges. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would restore their memory, clarity of thought, speech, and ability to care for themselves. We declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We believe that You are working even now to bring healing and wholeness to their body.

We also pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon them, Lord. Ignite in their heart a renewed hunger and thirst for Your Word, that they may feast on Your truths daily and find strength in Your presence. May they experience the joy of Your salvation afresh, as David did when he cried out, "Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit" (Psalm 51:12). Let them know the deep comfort of Your love, even in the midst of physical limitations, and may they find their hope and identity in You alone.

We rebuke any spirit of discouragement, confusion, or fear that may be attempting to take root in their mind. In the name of Jesus, we command these afflictions to loose their grip and for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we stand in faith that God is able to turn their trials into testimonies of His glory.

We encourage you to continue meditating on God’s Word, even if it feels difficult in this season. The Psalmist says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105). Even if you can only read small portions at a time, allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you through the Scriptures. Consider listening to the Bible or worship music if reading is challenging, and let the truth of God’s Word dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage you, pray with you, and remind you of God’s faithfulness when your own strength feels weak.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your value and worth are not defined by your abilities or limitations, but by the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a purpose for your life that goes far beyond your current circumstances. Trust in His timing and His plans for you, for He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). We believe that as you continue to seek Him, He will use this season to draw you closer to His heart and to reveal His strength in your weakness.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with this. We hear how much you want to follow Jesus well since giving your life to Him last year, and how discouraging it must feel when your body and mind make even simple things like reading, talking, driving or caring for yourself so difficult.

It is understandable that remembering what you read feels hard right now and that you would feel fragile or frustrated. When health issues linger, they can affect not only the body but also how we see ourselves and how we manage daily life and fellowship. Please know your desire for Him still matters deeply to Him, even on days when memory and energy are limited. Growth with Him is often more like steady training over time than getting everything right at once, and He sees you as a work in progress whom He loves.

We are joining you in prayer for your health exactly as you asked, that God in His wisdom would touch what needs healing, and that He would gently renew your hunger for Him and His Word in a way that fits this season.

Because these neurological symptoms affect driving, speaking and daily care, we encourage you to stay closely connected with your doctor and let them know about any changes, and to keep a trusted family member, friend or pastor close by so you are not walking through this alone.

Father, we bring our friend before You in Jesus name. You know every detail of what is happening in their body and mind. Surround them with Your peace and presence, guide their medical care, keep them safe each day, and kindly rekindle joy in knowing You and hearing Your voice. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank God with you for His grace which brought you to Jesus last year and which keeps you continuing in the Word. To be found in Christ and to love His Word is the greatest mercy, and we rejoice to hear that the Lord has wrought this in you.

Your present trial is heavy, and we do not make light of it. To be hindered in remembering what you have read, and to find the simplest duties such as driving, speaking, and caring for yourself made difficult by these neurological infirmities, is a sore affliction. Such bodily diseases are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they rightly urge us to seek the Physician. Our Lord Jesus is that heavenly Physician, and Calvary is the place for the healing balm. He heals with His Word even those who think they cannot be healed, and there is no case too hard for Him. We are moved with tender sympathy for you in this suffering.

We will pray for you as you have asked, that if it be His will He would lay His healing hand upon you, and that He who knows exactly what needs to be healed in your body would restore you according to His perfect wisdom and mercy. We pray that the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon you with healing in His wings, and that whether He grants full restoration in this life or sustains you in weakness, you may know His presence dwelling with you and His strength made perfect in your infirmity. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in Christ, and you who have believed are fully pardoned in Him, so that no affliction can separate you from His love.

We will pray also for that which you most desire, a new fire and hunger for Him and His Word. The Word of God is quick and living, not speedy only, but alive, and it is powerful for all sacred ends. Though your memory may fail, His Word hidden in the heart is not lost, for He can bring it to mind and make even a broken text from His lips to bear healing in it. When strength is bitten with hunger, the soul cries for bread, and blessed are they who hunger not for that which is not bread, but for the kingdom of God and His righteousness. We pray that the Lord would kindle that holy hunger again, that you may find daily bread in Christ Himself, the Incarnate Word, and that His Word may be your confidence and comfort, though you may read and forget. He remembers what you cannot, and He keeps what you commit to Him.

Be of good cheer. He wounded you that you might seek Him, and He will not turn away a heart that seeks Him. Trust you in the Lord forever, for His Word is faithful and shall never pass away. We will continue to bear you before the throne of grace, asking that He would give you a word in season, sustain you in every duty, and fill you with His peace.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, and cause His face to shine upon you and give you rest in His perfect will.

Thank you for sharing your heart with us and for trusting us to pray with you. We have heard your request and we give thanks for the work God has already done in bringing you to faith in Jesus Christ and keeping you in His word.

We will pray for your health, as you asked, that if it is the Lord's will He would heal you. He knows exactly what needs to be healed in your body, and He is able even by a word to strengthen and nourish those who suffer. When you struggle to remember what you read, or to do daily things like speaking, driving, or caring for yourself, He sees and He understands your weakness. We pray that His grace would be sufficient for you and that His strength would be made perfect in your weakness.

We also join you in praying for a new fire and hunger for Him and for His word. Jesus said, If any man thirst, let him come to Me and drink, and He promised that blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness. That holy hunger and thirst is itself a gift from God, and we ask Him to kindle it afresh in you, so that like a thirsty person who eagerly receives water, you may receive what He gives with joy.

Do not be discouraged when your memory fails or when reading feels difficult. The Lord does not measure your love for Him by how much you can remember at once. Receive His word little by little, as you are able, trusting that He will keep in your heart what you need. Even when you can hold only a small portion, He can use it to nourish and sustain you, for man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from God.

You are not alone in this trial. You are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses, those who have gone before you in faith and endured affliction, hunger, weakness and distress, and yet found Christ faithful. Look also to Him who endured tribulation for our sake, and to His apostles who learned to take pleasure even in infirmities and necessities that the power of Christ might rest upon them.

So we pray: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, have mercy on Your child. According to Your perfect will, touch this body and bring healing where You know healing is needed. Grant comfort in daily struggles, help in every practical need, and renewed hunger for Your presence and Your word. Keep this dear one close to You, establish and recover the soul that is weighed down, and let Your glory be shown through this time of trial. Amen.
