We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up Nelimar Gonzalez as she prepares for heart surgery. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. We ask that You guide the hands of the surgeons, nurses, and all medical staff involved in this procedure. Grant them wisdom, skill, and steady hands as they work to bring healing to Nelimar’s heart. Lord, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, including the knowledge and technology used in this surgery. We pray for a successful outcome, that Your healing power would flow through every step of this process.
We also lift up Nelimar’s spirit to You, Father. Surgery can bring fear and anxiety, but we know that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Comfort her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that You are with her, even in the valley of the shadow of death, and that she need not fear any evil (Psalm 23:4). Strengthen her faith as she places her trust in You, knowing that You hold her life in Your hands.
Lord, we ask that You surround Nelimar with Your angels, protecting her from any complications or harm. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You will restore her to health and heal her wounds (Jeremiah 30:17). Give her family and loved ones peace and patience as they wait, filling them with hope and trust in Your perfect plan.
We also want to gently remind Nelimar and all who are praying for her that true healing and salvation come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If Nelimar has not yet placed her faith in Jesus, we pray that this time of vulnerability would draw her heart to Him. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. We pray that she would come to know Him as her Lord and Savior, finding eternal life and peace in His grace.
Father, we trust in Your goodness and mercy. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. Amen.
