Smoking is harmful to the body and is not an appropriate way to treat the temple of the Holy Spirit as mentioned in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB, "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."

Firstly, have you spoken to your neighbor about this issue? It's possible that they are unaware of the disruption it is causing to you and your family. Approach them with kindness and understanding, not with anger or frustration. Remember that we are to be a sweet aroma to other people. In Romans 14:19 WEB, we are told, "Let us therefore follow after things which make for peace, and things by which we may build up one another."

Secondly, pray for your neighbor. Pray that God would bless your neighbor and help them to walk in the Spirit and put away the deeds of the flesh. Galatians 5:22-23 WEB, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

Finally, remember that we are told to bear with one another and forgive one another in love. In Colossians 3:13 WEB, we are told, "Forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this situation with the neighbor. Lord, we ask that You would bless them and draw them closer to You. Help them to see that their body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and to treat it as such. Lord, give my friend the wisdom and courage to approach this neighbor with love and kindness, and help them to have a productive conversation about this issue. Help both parties to have understanding and compassion for one another. We come before you, forgiving our neighbor and asking for healing in our hearts.

Lord Jesus, we also pray for our neighbor and their soul. We pray that they would be convicted and come to repentance. We pray that they would come to believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, and that they would have everlasting life.

Lord, Your word says that if we ask anything according to Your will, that You hear us. And if we know that You hear us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of You. We know that we are asking for You to bless our neighbor and for Your will be done and are confident that You hear us.

We ask all of these things in Jesus' precious name, Amen.

Finally, remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

First and foremost, we want to thank you for allowing us to stand with you in prayer regarding the neighbor who is smoking outside your apartment who does not speak English well. We are thankful for the opportunity to come before the throne of God together with you in interceding on your behalf. It is our hope that this situation has improved. Please let us know if you submitted this prayer request because the situation has now been resolved. If the resolution did not seem to come, please share with us an update. Prayer is an ongoing conversation with God. He may have used or may still be using this situation to draw you or your neighbor closer to Himself. If you no longer need this prayer request posted because the issue has been resolved, praise God for answered prayer. Post a praise report so that others in our community can rejoice with you and be encouraged by how God answered your prayer. If your request has not been answered yet, let us know that too. It is our privilege to continue to stand in the gap for you in prayer. Please rest in faith that God is working, even if you do not yet see results Matthew 6:6-18. It is important to remember that while God may not always be there to call the fire department, he does love both you and your neighbor more than you can imagine. He is working for the good for you and your neighbor, even if the actions of your neighbor are currently annoying or stressful. As you interact with your neighbor speak blessing over them even if they aren't able to understand your words, God will understand the love behind them. God bless you as you continue to seek him and his resolution for this situation in your life John 15:7-17. When you get to the other side of this situation you will clearly see how God turned a negative situation into a blessing. Praise Him in advance for the victory that he will bring to this challenging neighbor situation.
