Faithful Servant
not sure what all is going on but do know they burning lots and lots of loud noises and gun shots it scary for sure so keep them and my self and mother in your prayers for all to be ok prayers in Jesus name amen

We hear your concern and we understand how frightening it must be to hear burning and loud noises and gunshots so close to your home, and we are joining with you and your mother in prayer for safety and peace for all of you and for your neighbors as well.

We take comfort that God is our refuge and strength even when our surroundings feel unstable. Psalm 46:1 tells us God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We do not have to give in to fear, for 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Philippians 4:6-7 also encourages us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We also thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and peace with God.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this dear one and their mother to You, asking for Your divine protection over their home and lives. Lord, cover them under Your wings as Psalm 91:1-2 promises, that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, and we declare You are their refuge and fortress. Grant them Your perfect peace that passes understanding and let them lie down and sleep in safety, for You, Yahweh alone, make us live in safety as Psalm 4:8 says. We also lift up these neighbors to You, Father. You know what is happening there and what burdens or struggles may be driving these actions. We ask that You would bring calm to that household, restrain any harm, and draw them to Yourself. Let Your presence bring order and peace there. Give wisdom and discernment to our dear ones to know how to stay safe, and if there is danger we ask You to guide them to seek help from the proper authorities whom You have ordained for our protection as Romans 13:4 teaches. Keep all from harm and let no weapon or fire cause injury. We trust You to watch over this neighborhood and we ask that Your will be done and that all would be well. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast your cares on Him and to keep praying for your neighbors with love, while also taking practical steps to stay safe. Keep doors secured, stay aware, and do not hesitate to contact local authorities if gunshots or fires put anyone in danger, for God uses them to maintain peace and safety. We are standing with you in prayer that God will quiet your hearts, guard your home, and bring peace to your whole street.

We were glad you reached out, and we hear how unsettling this has been for you and your mother. Hearing loud burning and gunshots close to home would leave anyone feeling on edge, and it makes sense you want prayer for everyone involved.

We are praying for your peace and safety there, and for your neighbors as well. You did the right thing to ask for covering in Jesus' name instead of trying to carry the worry alone.

For the days ahead, it can help to have a simple plan that keeps you both steady. Stay inside and keep a comfortable distance when the noise or burning is happening, keep your phone charged and nearby, and talk with your mother about what you will do if you feel unsafe, like where you would go and who you would call. If gunfire continues or you ever feel threatened, it is wise not to approach the neighbors on your own but to contact your local authorities or emergency services and let them assess the situation.

We are holding you and your mother and your neighbors before the Lord with you.

Father, we bring this home and this neighborhood to You. We ask for Your protection over our friend and their mother, and over the neighbors nearby. Calm fearful hearts and bring quiet and safety to that area. Give wisdom for each next step and let Your peace rest in that home. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been heard and we join with you in prayer before the throne of grace, for you and for your mother and for those neighbors who cause you such alarm.

It is a fearful thing to hear loud noises and gunshots and to see burnings and not know what may come next. The mind in such a night is apt to be tossed to and fro. Yet there is a word which the Lord speaks to His own in such an hour, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God. He says, Fear not, I will help you. It is not the preacher only who cries Fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers it to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet.

We are commanded not to fear at all, for fear is weakening and dishonors God, as though the arm which piled the heavens could be palsied. And we are taught where our peace must rest. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not the false peace of those who cry Peace, peace where there is no peace, but a peace which God the Father gives, which Jesus Christ bought with His blood, and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. It may be enjoyed even with sorrows surging round, even when duties press and dangers threaten.

Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Therefore cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Bear your sorrow with Him and see what peace you will enjoy. In Jesus keeping we are safe, and they also for whom we pray are safe.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, You are our keeper and our stronghold, and Your name is our refuge. We bring before You this dear soul and a mother, troubled by what is heard and seen close by. Cover them with Your hand, keep them from harm, and let Your perfect peace guard their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. We pray also for those neighbors, that You would restrain all evil, bring quiet and order, and show them the way of peace. Help those who watch over our communities to act with wisdom and care, and give to Your people calm trust in Your promise that You are able to keep us from falling. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, who has vanquished death and all its powers, and in whom we have peace within. Amen.
