Proverbs 6:16-19 tells us, *"There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers."* Gossip and slander fall squarely into these categories, and they bring destruction not only to the one who spreads them but to the entire community. The neighbor you describe is walking in the works of the flesh, and unless there is repentance, such a person will not inherit the Kingdom of God (Galatians 5:21). At the same time, we must also examine our own hearts in this situation. While it is right to rebuke the spirit behind these actions, we are called to love our neighbors—even the difficult ones—as ourselves (Mark 12:31). This does not mean tolerating sin or enabling destructive behavior, but it does mean responding in a way that honors God. Romans 12:17-21 instructs us, *"Repay no one evil for evil. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread."* Idleness leads to meddling in the affairs of others, and it opens the door for the enemy to work through a person. We pray that this neighbor would be convicted of their laziness and turn to honest, productive labor, that their hands and mind would be occupied with what is good and pleasing to God.
As for the voyeurism and the perverse behaviors you mentioned, these are grave sins that defile a person and invite demonic influence. Job 31:1 says, *"I made a covenant with my eyes; how then should I look lustfully at a young woman?"* The Lord calls us to purity in all things, and those who indulge in such sins are walking in darkness. We rebuke the spirit of perversion and voyeurism in the name of Jesus, and we pray that this neighbor would be exposed and brought to repentance before the Lord. Let their sin be revealed, not for their destruction, but that they might turn from their wicked ways and seek the forgiveness and cleansing that only Christ can provide.

Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your name be glorified.
We also pray for wisdom for those who are dealing with this neighbor. Give them discernment on how to respond in a way that honors You. If there are boundaries that need to be set, show them how. If there are authorities that need to be involved, guide them. Let them not be consumed by anger or bitterness, but let them walk in Your love and Your strength.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would bring restoration where there has been destruction. Heal the relationships that have been damaged by this person’s actions. Restore peace where there has been chaos. Let Your light shine so brightly in this situation that the enemy is put to shame, and let Your name be exalted above all.
