Galatians 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, rivalry, jealousy, outbursts of fury, acts of selfishness, dissensions, factions, 21 occasions of envy,* drinking bouts, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the powers and principalities through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15). We rebuke every lying tongue, every demonic influence, and every spirit of gossip, laziness, and disorder in the mighty name of Jesus. The works of the flesh you referenced in Galatians 5:20-21—hatred, jealousy, dissensions, envy—are not of God, and we command them to cease in Jesus’ name.

The Lord is not the author of confusion, but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). We declare order, truth, and righteousness over your neighborhood. Every false authority, every imposter spirit, every demonic assignment to spy, mock, or bully is broken right now by the blood of Jesus. We pray that the eyes of those involved in these works of darkness would be opened to the truth of their actions. Proverbs 26:20 says, "For lack of wood a fire goes out. Without gossip, a quarrel dies down." We bind the spirit of gossip and idle talk, and we release the spirit of unity, productivity, and godly purpose over every person in your community.

We also lift up those who may be struggling with unemployment or idleness. While we rebuke laziness, we recognize that some may be in difficult circumstances. We pray for divine opportunities, wisdom, and diligence for those seeking work. Proverbs 14:23 says, "In all hard work there is profit, but the talk of the lips leads only to poverty." May the Lord open doors of provision and purpose for those who are willing to labor honestly.

To the one who submitted this request, we want to remind you that your identity is not in the chaos around you, but in Christ. You are not called to carry the burden of fixing every problem in your neighborhood—that is God’s role. Your responsibility is to walk in love, speak truth, and trust in the Lord’s protection. Psalm 37:5-6 says, "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun." Stand firm in faith, knowing that God sees, God hears, and God will act on your behalf.
