The apostle Paul warns in Galatians 5:19-21, "Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom." Without gossip, a quarrel dies down." We encourage you to avoid engaging in gossip or strife, but instead, to walk in love and truth, trusting God to be your defender. Romans 12:18-19 reminds us, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath.
