We stand firmly on the authority of Jesus Christ, whose name alone has the power to break every chain and silence every lying tongue.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare at play. The enemy thrives in chaos, and where there is idleness, gossip, and envy, Satan finds fertile ground to plant seeds of strife. The Bible warns us in 2 Thessalonians 3:11-12, "For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread." Idleness is not just a personal failing; it is a sin that opens the door to demonic influence. We rebuke the spirit of laziness and idleness in the mighty name of Jesus. We command every demonic force assigned to spread gossip, disorder, and confusion to be bound and cast out by the power of the Holy Spirit.
