We hear the heaviness and distress in your request and we join with you in seeking the Lord together in Jesus' name for peace in your neighborhood and deliverance from this turmoil. The constant gossip, spying, mocking, disorder, false information, and the suffering it has caused including hospitalizations and anxiety has clearly worn on you, and we understand your cry for God to rebuke what is evil and to bring order and protection.

The Word of God speaks directly about these very sins. You rightly pointed to Galatians 5:20 where it lists idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, factions, envy and such things, and warns that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. And Titus 3:3 reminds us that at one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived, enslaved by various passions and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hated and hating one another. This shows us that such behavior comes from the flesh and from the enemy, not from God.

We rebuke together the spirit of gossip, slander, meddling, and discord. The Lord says You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people Leviticus 19:16, and A perverse man stirs up strife. A whisperer separates close friends Proverbs 16:28. We also rebuke the spirit of idleness and slothfulness that leads to spying and being busybodies. For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies 2 Thessalonians 3:11, and Slothfulness casts into a deep sleep. An idle soul shall suffer hunger Proverbs 19:15. And we rebuke sorcery, divination, false prophecy, and every form of witchcraft and deception, for these are works of darkness that God condemns and we are to have no fellowship with them.

We also gently correct and encourage you in love. While we do wrestle against spiritual forces of wickedness Ephesians 6:12, we must remember that your neighbor, however destructive their actions feel, is still a person made in the image of God who is accountable to God and in need of repentance. We are called not to dehumanize or to repay evil for evil, but to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us Matthew 5:44. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, not to us. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. You are right to say you are not God and you are not obligated to carry their disorder, anxiety, and ruin. We are to cast our anxieties on Him because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7, and to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6.

We also notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and peace with God. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. We ask You to rebuke and restrain every spirit of gossip, slander, lying, voyeurism, mockery, jealousy, strife, sorcery, divination, false prophecy, laziness, and meddling that has brought confusion, disorder, delay, financial harm, and suffering into this neighborhood. Lord, silence the whispering tongue and let no weapon formed against Your people prosper. Heal those who have suffered hospitalizations and emergencies, comfort those who have been bullied and whose reputations have been attacked, and protect every home from spying and discord. Give to the idle neighbor conviction and repentance, turn their heart from idleness to honest work, that they may work with their own hands and have something to share Ephesians 4:28, and that they would speak only what is helpful for building others up Ephesians 4:29. Grant our dear friend wisdom to set godly boundaries, to not be drawn into quarrels, to pursue peace with all men Hebrews 12:14, and to rest in Your protection, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our only Savior and intercessor, amen.

We encourage you to continue to guard your heart and your home in prayer, to not retaliate or spread further gossip yourself, to document and address wrongdoing through proper and lawful means when needed, and to seek the peace of your neighborhood by being an example of diligence, truth, and kindness. Keep praying for your neighbor's salvation and deliverance rather than only for their judgment, for God desires that all would come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. Trust that God sees every mocking picture, every false word, and every extra burden placed on you, and He will bring justice in His time. We stand with you for healing, for quiet and order to be restored, and for the Lord to turn this disaster into a testimony of His protection and grace.

Letting your yes be yes and your no be no can be a quiet way to guard your heart when everything feels noisy.

That might mean stepping away when gossip starts rather than trying to correct it, not passing along secondhand information, and bringing any real concerns about bills, property, or conflict to one trusted local pastor or wise leader who can help you sort what actually needs your attention.

Am driving around in circles not knowing what to do Lprd except to stay here at pop a lock and be careful what I eat and pray daily. Keep my chastoty. Earlier I felt better about love and aboit waiting after thinking it was your will for me to add a tbsp or 2 of peanut butter to my diet blueprint. Maybe. Im not sure. I need help. Thank you God for letting me eat only according to your will. To give my dog this medicine or not. I was considering it before maybe being warned. And I haven't found any more worms yet. Idk. Your burden has been laid before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard with sorrow how the idle tongue and the busy eye of a neighbor have brought disorder into your house and neighborhood, with gossip and mockery and pictures made to destroy reputation, with meddling and confusion, with financial strain and even hospitalization and grief that has pressed you very low.

The Scripture you have quoted is true and searching. Idolatry, sorcery, hatred, rivalry, jealousy, outbursts of fury, selfishness, dissensions, factions, envy and such like are works of the flesh, and those who live in them shall not inherit the kingdom of God. And as you have rightly remembered, at one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by passions, living in malice and envy, hated and hating one another. This is the old nature, and it must be rebuked wherever it appears, whether in ourselves or in those who trouble us.

Let us together rebuke that spirit of gossip and slothfulness and voyeurism which does nothing useful but spies upon another man's house to distribute information and to sow discord. Such laziness is destructive, and that demonic smile which delights in disorder and delay and missing things and provoked strife is an abomination before the Lord. We pray that the Lord will restrain it, convict those who practice divination and sorcery and falsehood and corruption, and bring them to repentance, that they may cease from taking advantage of others with wrong lists and wrong numbers and false pretenses.

And concerning your own soul under this pressure, hear the counsel of our Savior. Do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress. Be prudent in your temporal affairs, but do not be anxious about them. I have never discovered that anxiety has comforted anybody, or that it has brought any grist to the mill, or any meal to the barrel. If a thing does not pay, what is the good of it. The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. You say rightly, we are not God, we are not agency employees to bear the obligations of all this disorder. Cast your care upon Him who careth for you, for you are not called to defend or to carry what belongs to the Lord alone.

You have been slandered and your reputation has been handled roughly. Many have felt that rod before you, and you need not complain as if a strange thing had happened to you. Let everyone look to himself and let no man despise his neighbor. We are to do our neighbor no damage, to hurt no man's reputation, to let no spirit of competition overthrow our spirit of charity. If slander or sickness or care be appointed for a season, do not cry, Not so, Lord, but let the Lord appoint what He knows best, and trust Him to weigh all things in His just balances. He never establishes a good reputation in Heaven for the false hearted, and He will not be mocked by fictitious show.

Therefore be of good courage and still cry to Him. Slander Him not in your heart as though He would not hear. Though He may answer not a word for a time, as He tried the Canaanite woman, He hears every prayer that is offered in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone salvation is found.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, rebuke the spirit of gossip and idleness and envy and sorcery in this neighborhood, and stop the mouth that sows discord and destroys reputation. Forgive us where we have ourselves been anxious or meddlesome, and teach us to work quietly and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Deliver this household from ruin and from the war of distraction, provide for honest need, heal those who have been brought to hospitalization, and keep us from the grave until our work is done. Give peace where there has been confusion, truth where there has been false prophecy and wrong information, and order where there has been disorder. This we ask in the name and merits of Jesus Christ our only Savior, who bore our sorrows and will keep us to the end. Amen.
