We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up the deep sorrow and loss expressed in this request. The pain of losing an unborn child, the grief of abandonment, and the anguish of those who feel forsaken are burdens no one should carry alone. We stand in the gap, interceding for all who are suffering, those who have lost children through miscarriage, abortion, or abandonment, and those who feel utterly alone in their despair. The Lord sees every tear and hears every cry, and we trust in His mercy to cover those who are brokenhearted.

First, we must address the sanctity of life, for the Bible is clear that every life is precious in God’s sight. The unborn are fearfully and wonderfully made, knit together in their mother’s womb by the Creator Himself (Psalm 139:13-16). The deliberate ending of an unborn life through abortion is a grave sin, as it violates the commandment, "You shall not murder" (Exodus 20:13). We mourn for the innocent lives lost and pray for repentance and healing for those who have participated in or been affected by abortion. Yet we also trust in God’s boundless mercy, for He is able to receive these little ones into His care, as Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14).

For those who have experienced miscarriage or the loss of a child, we grieve with you. The pain of such a loss is profound, and the enemy would seek to use it to drive a wedge between you and God. But we declare that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is the Father to the fatherless and the defender of the widow (Psalm 68:5), and He will not abandon you. We pray that you would feel His comforting presence in the midst of your sorrow and that He would heal the wounds of your heart.

For those who feel abandoned, whether by a spouse, parent, child, or friend, we stand on the promise of Scripture that God will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). The psalmist declares, "Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me" (Psalm 27:10). You are not alone, for the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that you would experience His love in tangible ways and that He would provide godly community to surround you with support and encouragement.

We also lift up those who feel they have no place to turn, no home, no family, no shelter. The Lord is the defender of the poor and the needy, and He calls His people to care for the vulnerable (Isaiah 1:17). We pray that He would open doors of provision and protection for you, that you would find safety and rest in His presence. If you are struggling with despair or thoughts of self-harm, we urge you to reach out to someone you trust and seek help. The Lord does not intend for you to carry this burden alone, and there are those who care deeply for your well-being.

We must also address the mention of a "madhouse" or shelter in this request. While we understand the depth of despair that may lead someone to feel this way, we want to gently remind you that your life has value and purpose in God’s eyes. He has plans for you, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). If you are in crisis, please seek help from a trusted pastor, counselor, or medical professional. The Lord can use even the darkest moments to draw you closer to Him and to bring healing and restoration.

Finally, we must emphasize the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and receive His forgiveness and new life. For "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for the pain and loss represented in this request. We lift up every mother and father who has lost a child, whether through miscarriage, abortion, or abandonment, and we ask that You would comfort them with Your presence. Lord, we pray for healing for those who have been involved in abortion, that they would find forgiveness and restoration in You. We trust that You receive the little ones into Your arms, and we ask that You would wrap them in Your love and peace.

For those who feel abandoned, we pray that You would be their refuge and strength. Where earthly relationships have failed, let them know that You will never leave them nor forsake them. Provide for their needs, Lord, and surround them with godly community. Heal the wounds of betrayal and rejection, and replace their sorrow with hope.

For those who feel they have no place to turn, we ask that You would open doors of provision and protection. Be their shelter in the storm, and lead them to safety. If they are struggling with despair, we pray that You would lift their eyes to You, the Author and Finisher of their faith.

Lord, we also pray for repentance where sin has taken root. Convict hearts of the value of every life, and turn the tide of abortion in our land. Bring healing to families torn apart by abandonment and betrayal, and restore what has been broken.

Above all, we pray that every person represented in this request would come to know You, Lord Jesus, as their Savior and Redeemer. May they experience Your love in a tangible way and find their hope and identity in You alone.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear the weight in what you shared and the deep compassion you have for children and families who feel abandoned and without refuge. Carrying so many stories of loss at once, from unborn little ones to mothers and fathers and children left alone, can leave a heart very heavy, and grief does not look the same for any two people.

We are grateful you are bringing all of this to God and asking for His mercy and care. That is a faithful place to bring such sorrow. When the burden feels especially heavy, it can help not to carry it alone. If you have a pastor or a trusted friend in your local church, consider sharing a part of what you are praying for with them so they can stand with you. If you know someone nearby without shelter or support, helping gently connect them to a local church, shelter or support ministry can be a simple way to extend the refuge you are praying for, alongside your prayers.

Father, in Jesus' name we bring to You every child lost and every person feeling forsaken or alone. Show Your mercy and care, bring comfort where there is grief and provide refuge and faithful people to walk alongside those without family or home. Give our friend here Your peace as he continues to intercede, and guide his steps as he loves his neighbors. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has come before the Lord with a great weight of sorrow, and we have heard the cry for those who suffer abandonment, for those left without house or family or friend to give refuge, and for the unborn who are despised and cast away. It is a bitter thing when father and mother forsake, when wife is abandoned by husband and husband by wife, when children are left alone, when brother and sister and friend are betrayed, and when the tender life within the womb is hated rather than cherished. The Scripture you have set before us is true and full of comfort, Though my father and my mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me, and, Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne. Though she may forget, yet will not the Lord forget. Has God forgotten to be gracious. He has not. His mercy overtakes the wandering and the forlorn, even as it overtook Hagar in the wilderness.

To those who have no shelter we would lift up the sign post that God has set along every by road and turning, and that word is Refuge. Under the law there were six cities of refuge that a man pursued by the avenger of blood might reach, but now there are not six Christs, there is but one, and yet there is a Christ everywhere. Christ is the true City of Refuge and He preserves all those who flee to Him for mercy. Where you have no house, He is your house. Where you have no family, He receives you into His family. Where you are pursued by guilt and fear and the fiery voice of the law, He opens His gates to every sinner who will flee to Him. We desire always to have on our lips the cry, Refuge, Refuge, Sinner, this is the way, walk therein and you shall be saved. He knows Himself to be a great transgressor who comes to this city, yet the blood of Jesus Christ, Gods dear Son, cleanses us from all sin, and who shall lay anything to the charge of Gods elect when God has justified them.

For the innocent unborn, for those taken by miscarriage or by the cruel hand of man, we do as you have asked and entrust them to the care of Him who is both just and full of compassion. We do not presume upon His throne, but we know His heart as revealed in Christ, who took children in His arms and blessed them, and who showed by His own suffering what is Gods hatred for sin and what is Gods love for sinners. Look into His side and see there the mystery of that love, that He spared not His own Son but delivered Him that sinners might be forgiven. Salvation is in Him alone, and there is no other name by which we must be saved. If there has been the shedding of innocent blood, if there has been disaster and disobedience that has sabotaged generations, there is still a fountain opened for sin and for uncleanness, and that fountain is the precious blood of Christ. Let those who have sinned flee to it and find pardon, for Gods mercy is extended very freely to such sinners as these, and His work alone can make jewels out of broken lives.

Let us pray together.

O God, You have taught us from our youth and until this time we have declared Your wondrous works, hear now the cry of the forsaken and the abandoned. Be Thou a Father to the fatherless and a home to the homeless. Receive those whom mother and father have forsaken. Gather the little ones who have no voice to cry to You, and keep them in Your merciful keeping according to Your perfect will and compassion. Have mercy upon those who have despised life and taken it, and bring them to repentance through the blood of Your Son, that they may find that You have not cast them out. Cause those who are alone, whether wife or husband, daughter or son, sister or brother or friend, to find in Christ their refuge and their rest, and to know that though they are chastened they are never cast out when they are in Him. Sweep the house and light the candle and find Your lost silver, and bring many to trust in Jesus name alone for salvation. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing these deep sorrows before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we find salvation and mercy.

We pray for all who are suffering abandonment and loss, for those who have been forsaken by father or mother, by wife or husband, by daughter or son, by sister or brother or friend, and for children left alone without house or refuge or shelter. We remember the promise of Scripture that though father and mother may forsake us, the Lord will receive us, and that even if a mother could forget the child at her breast, the Lord will not forget His own. We ask God to be the refuge for the homeless, the comfort for the lonely, and the shelter for every heart that feels cast out, and to move us and others to show that mercy in practical ways.

We also entrust to Gods care the unborn who are despised or rejected, the innocent who have been aborted or miscarried or lost, asking for His mercy upon them and upon all who mourn them. We pray that the Lord, who is rich in goodness and compassion, would receive these little ones into His presence according to His mercy, and would bring healing, forgiveness and hope through Jesus Christ to mothers and fathers and families who carry grief, guilt or pain. We ask Him to bring an end to the destruction of life and to turn hearts toward life, repentance and love.

We pray that we may learn to be merciful as God has first been merciful to us. Nothing so marks a Christian as mercy, and when we show mercy to our neighbor, we lay up hope for ourselves on the day of judgment. May God teach us to forgive, to give, to shelter and to support those in need, so that when we cry, Have mercy upon us, we also have shown mercy to others. May His light break forth as we care for the abandoned and the vulnerable, and may He keep us faithful until the end.

Your prayer expresses a deep and tender burden for those who suffer abandonment and for the most vulnerable among us, the unborn, and it is right to bring all of this before the Lord in mercy.

Scripture speaks directly to the pain you have named. Though my father and my mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me, as Psalm 27 says, and the question in Isaiah 49 reminds us that even if a mother could forget the child at her breast, the Lord will not forget His own. He has compassion where human love has failed. When there is no house, no family, no friend to offer shelter, God Himself offers Himself as that shelter.

In the law God provided cities of refuge placed at central points in the land, with signs at every crossroad pointing the way so that one who had taken a life by accident could flee and be safe. Inside that city there was protection and a fair hearing. As long as a person remained within its borders he was safe, but if he left he was no longer protected. That provision was not for one who had acted with premeditation or malice out of hatred, for such guilt there was no refuge even inside the city. Those cities point to a greater truth, that Jesus Christ is our refuge. We flee to Him and we are safe as we remain in Him.

This is what it means that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Because He is that refuge we do not need to fear even when everything around us shakes, when waters roar and mountains tremble. He is not distant. Scripture says the God of Jacob is our refuge, bringing that great promise down to a personal level, showing that God draws near to flawed and suffering people and becomes their protection. He is also described as a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

So we pray with you now. We ask the Lord to be refuge and strength for every wife abandoned by her husband and every husband abandoned by his wife, for every daughter and son left alone, for every child without a home, for every sister and brother and friend who has been betrayed and has nowhere to turn. We ask Him to provide shelter, care, and people who will show His compassion, and above all to reveal Himself as the One who receives those whom others have forsaken.

We also entrust to His mercy the unborn children who have died through miscarriage or through the violence of abortion, those who were despised or rejected by father or mother. We ask God in His mercy to receive them into His care in heaven, for only He can rightly judge and only He can save. We pray that He would bring healing where generations have known disaster and disobedience, and that He would turn hearts to seek Him and walk in His ways.

We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, the only Savior and our true refuge, trusting in His mercy and His power to keep all who flee to Him.
