Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we have continued to bring your burden before the Lord these past days.
We have been lifting up your heart for those who are suffering with abandonment and what you described as an abortive spirit, for the many who feel alone and forsaken in their own lives and families. We have prayed for wives abandoned by husbands and husbands abandoned by wives, for daughters and sons left alone, for sisters and brothers and friends who have been betrayed or forsaken, and for children who are left without a house, without family, and without refuge or shelter to support them. We have also continued to pray for every unborn child who is despised or rejected by mother or father, and we entrust those innocent lives, whether aborted or miscarried, to the mercy and care of God, asking Him to receive them into heaven.
We take comfort with you in the promises you shared, that though father and mother may forsake us, the Lord will receive us as we read in Psalm 27:10, and that the Lord does not forget His own as we read in Isaiah 49:15. We ask God to show His mercy to this generation and to bring His healing, compassion and refuge where there has been brokenness and loss.
We pray that the Lord will surround every abandoned and hurting one with His presence, provide shelter for those without a home, restore families, and let all who feel forsaken know they are held and remembered by Him. We pray this in Jesus Name.
