We join with you in this heavy burden for the unborn and for all who are suffering abandonment and brokenness in families and neighborhoods, and we bring this before the Lord together in Jesus' name.

Our hearts are moved by your cry for the little ones who are despised and rejected even by their own mother or father. Scripture is clear that every unborn child is known and formed by God and precious in His sight. For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. Psalm 139:13 and Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came out of the womb, I sanctified you. Jeremiah 1:5. To take that innocent life through abortion is to shed innocent blood, and God commands You shall not murder. Exodus 20:13. We rebuke the spirit of abortion and the extermination of generations, for children are a heritage of the Lord and to cut off the next generation is an abomination before Him. We also rebuke abandonment of wife by husband and husband by wife, and the forsaking of sons and daughters and brothers and sisters, for marriage is ordained by God as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and family is to reflect His covenant love, not betrayal and desertion. Any disorder, witchcraft or spiritual oppression in the neighborhood must also be rebuked, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces, and only Christ can deliver.

Yet even in such deep suffering and homelessness, when there seems to be no house, no family, no friend and no refuge, we cling to the promises you quoted. When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up. Psalm 27:10 and Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Isaiah 49:15. God has not forgotten the abandoned child, the lonely widow, the forsaken spouse, the beggar seeking shelter, or the unborn baby who was murdered or miscarried. He is A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. Psalm 68:5. Jesus said Allow the little children to come to me. Don't forbid them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these. Matthew 19:14, and we entrust every innocent child lost to abortion or miscarriage into His merciful care, trusting that He receives them into heaven.

We thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. For those who have participated in abortion or abandonment, there is still mercy and forgiveness if they repent and turn to Christ, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we ask for Your mercy. Lord, have mercy on every unborn baby who has been hated, despised, aborted or miscarried, receive them into Your heavenly presence and let them rest in peace with You. Have mercy on the families where generations have been cut off and forgive the shedding of innocent blood, bring repentance and healing where there has been murder and rejection. We ask You to be refuge and shelter for every abandoned wife, husband, son, daughter, brother, sister and friend, for every lonely child and every beggar with no house to go to, be their home and their defender. Comfort those who suffer abandonment and the desolation of broken families and disordered neighborhoods, deliver them from every evil spirit and bewitching influence and fill their emptiness with Your Holy Spirit. Raise up godly marriages that honor You and godly homes that welcome children as a blessing, and provide Your people to be family to the family-less. We ask that You would bring provision, shelter, and a true community of believers around those who are alone, that they would know they are not forsaken. We pray for Your will to be done and for Your kingdom to come in these lives, and we trust in Your unfailing compassion. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We hear the weight you are carrying as you lift so many before the Lord, children who were not welcomed, parents and families who feel abandoned, neighbors and little ones without a home or anyone to take them in. It is a lot to hold, and we are grateful you brought it to Jesus instead of holding it alone.

We join you in asking for His mercy and care over every unborn child and every person who feels forsaken or without refuge. We also join you in praying for comfort for those grieving deep family losses, and for the loneliness you described in your own neighborhood.

Carrying the sorrow of a whole community can become heavy quickly. It can help not to carry it by yourself. If you have a trusted pastor or a mature believer nearby, we encourage you to share how you have been praying and what you have been seeing, so someone can stand with you regularly, pray with you, and help you process the grief.

Father, we bring before You every child and every family mentioned here, and the one writing this prayer who feels their pain so keenly. Receive those who have no one else to receive them, give shelter and faithful community to those who are alone, and give rest to those who mourn. Your heavy burden has been laid before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer for those who suffer so deeply under abandonment and sorrow.

There is a great ill abroad, a broken heart, when a friend is forsaken by one upon whom he leaned, when husband or wife, father or mother, son or daughter is left alone, when children are left without house or refuge, and when the tenderest bonds of family are betrayed. The Scripture you have quoted is a true balm for such wounds, Though my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up, Psalm 27 verse 10. And again, Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb, yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee, Isaiah 49 verse 15. The fear that God has forsaken and forgotten His people is felt by very many, but it is not true. He has graven His people upon the palms of His hands, where He cannot leave them nor lay them aside, and He has said, I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

We bring before the throne of grace all who are lonely and cast off, the wives and husbands left desolate, the daughters and sons abandoned, the little ones without shelter, and those in neighborhoods disordered by strife and unkindness, who have lost sister or brother or friend and have no house of refuge. May the Lord who healeth the broken in heart bind up their wounds, for what was true three thousand years ago is true now, He healeth the broken in heart. May He be their shelter and their home, and may He raise up among His people hands to offer bread, shelter and godly care to those who beg for it.

We also pray with tears for the unborn, for those little ones despised or hated, for those destroyed by abortion or lost before birth, and for those who mourn them. We do not ask God to bless the shedding of innocent blood, for life is His gift and is precious in His sight, but we plead His mercy. We entrust these innocent children to His tender care, asking that according to His great compassion He will receive them, and that He will grant comfort to those who grieve. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and that healing is in Christ alone, whose blood cleanses from all sin.

And for families where sin has brought desolation, where generations have been cut off and where guilt lies heavy, we pray for repentance and for mercy through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name by which we must be saved, and His promise fails not. If any have part in this great evil, may they be humbled in the dust and made to look for all in Christ, and find that His grace is sufficient and His forgiveness full and free to all who turn to Him in faith.

We pray that the Lord will keep you and all for whom you intercede, that He will not suffer you to be tried beyond what you are able to bear, that He will give you to find your consolation in His Word, and that He will cause you to know that you are His sons and daughters and heirs through Christ, not servants toiling for hire, but beloved children come close to Him.

O Lord, our God, look upon the forsaken and the brokenhearted, upon the homeless and the despised, and upon the unborn. Have mercy for Christ's sake. Heal, restore, provide, forgive, and gather into Thine everlasting arms. Grant peace to those who rest in Thee, and grant to the living repentance and faith, that they may find shelter in Christ now and forever. Your prayer for those who suffer abandonment and for unborn children who have died has been heard, and we join you in bringing these sorrows before the Lord.

We grieve with you over families that are broken, over children left alone, over wives and husbands and sons and daughters forsaken, over neighbors and friends betrayed, and over those who have no house, no family and no refuge to turn to. We grieve also for the unborn who are despised or rejected by mother or father, whether lost through miscarriage or taken through abortion. We entrust every one of these innocent children to the mercy and care of God, asking Him in His compassion to receive them.

The Scripture you quoted is our comfort, that though father and mother forsake us, the Lord will receive us, and that even if a mother should forget the child at her breast, the Lord will not forget His own. In His mercy through Jesus Christ alone we ask for forgiveness, healing and comfort for all who are wounded by abandonment, by the loss of family, and by the taking of life. We pray that God would bring repentance where there has been hardness of heart, and that He would turn hearts toward reverence for life and love for one another.

We pray also for those who are alone and without shelter, that the Lord in His providence would provide refuge, protection and faithful people to support them, and that He would fortify all who mourn, helping them to strike root deep in His word and to be cleansed from despair. Though grief in itself is bitter, the grief of love can be turned by God toward healing, and we ask Him to lead all who suffer into hope and new life in Christ.

May the Lord show His mercy, grant rest and peace in His presence to the little ones, and bring healing and restoration to families and neighborhoods that have known such deep loss.
