We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, grieving with those who grieve over the loss of precious unborn lives and the deep wounds of abandonment, betrayal, and suffering. The pain of losing a child, whether through miscarriage, abortion, or abandonment, is a burden no one should carry alone. We stand in the gap for all who mourn, for those who feel forsaken, and for the innocent lives taken before they could draw their first breath.

The Word of God declares the sanctity of life from the moment of conception. Scripture tells us, "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart" (Jeremiah 1:5 WEB). Every life is knit together by God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:13-14 WEB), and those who have been lost are now in His loving care. We entrust them to the arms of our Heavenly Father, who receives them with mercy and love. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14 WEB). We take comfort in knowing that these little ones are now in the presence of the Lord, where there is no more pain, sorrow, or suffering.

For those who have experienced abandonment, whether by a spouse, parent, child, or friend, we declare that God will never leave you nor forsake you. The Psalmist writes, "Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me" (Psalm 27:10 WEB). You are not alone. The Lord is your refuge, your stronghold, and your shelter in the storm. He sees your tears, hears your cries, and collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8 WEB). He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB).

We must also address the grave sin of abortion, which is the taking of innocent life. The Bible is clear that murder is forbidden (Exodus 20:13 WEB), and life begins at conception. Those who have participated in or supported abortion are in need of God’s forgiveness and healing. There is no sin too great for the blood of Jesus to cover. If you have been involved in abortion, we urge you to repent and turn to Christ, who offers forgiveness, restoration, and peace. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

For those who feel they have no home, no family, and no refuge, we pray that God would provide shelter, both physically and spiritually. He is the Father to the fatherless and the defender of the widow (Psalm 68:5 WEB). We ask that He would surround you with godly believers who can offer love, support, and encouragement. The Lord promises, "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you" (John 14:18 WEB).

We also lift up those who are struggling with the weight of betrayal, whether by a friend, sibling, or loved one. Betrayal cuts deep, but Jesus understands this pain intimately. He was betrayed by one of His own disciples, yet He responded with love and forgiveness. We are called to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13 WEB), though this is not always easy. We pray for the strength to release bitterness and trust God to heal your heart.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for the loss of life, for the pain of abandonment, and for the deep wounds of betrayal. Lord, we entrust every unborn child who has been lost into Your loving care. We ask that You would comfort their mothers and fathers, bringing healing and peace to their hearts. For those who have participated in abortion, we pray for repentance and Your forgiveness. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus and restore their souls.

Father, for those who feel abandoned and alone, we ask that You would be their refuge and strength. Surround them with Your love and provide for their needs, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Heal their broken hearts and bind up their wounds (Psalm 147:3 WEB). Lord, we pray for families torn apart by sin and selfishness. Restore what has been broken and reunite them in Your love.

We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that seeks to destroy lives. We declare that in Christ, there is always hope, always a future, and always redemption. We pray for those who are struggling with thoughts of self-harm or suicide. Lord, intervene in their lives and show them that their life has value and purpose. Send people into their lives who can speak truth, love, and encouragement.

Father, we ask that You would raise up godly men and women to be fathers and mothers to the fatherless, to provide shelter for the homeless, and to be a light in the darkness. Use us, Lord, to be Your hands and feet in this broken world.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is through His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to You, Father. We thank You for the gift of salvation, for the forgiveness of sins, and for the promise of eternal life. May Your will be done in every situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We’re sitting with you in the heaviness of this request, the neighbor’s loss, the ache for every abandoned child and forgotten soul, and the raw awareness that so many face these hurts without a home or a family to lean on. What comes through clearly is a heart that feels the weight of many sorrows at once, and we don’t want to rush past that. Sometimes the most honest thing we can do is simply name the pain and bring it together into God’s presence, trusting He is already near to the brokenhearted.

The cry for mercy echoes deeply because mercy is exactly what the abandoned need and what God delights to give. When Psalm 27 says the Lord will receive those forsaken by father and mother, it speaks to the same ache you’re carrying. Right now, that promise is a steady place to rest, not as a quick fix, but as something solid under all the uncertainty.

If you’re able, one tangible step could be simply letting your neighbor know you’re praying. A quiet word, a card, or even just sitting with them in their grief can remind them they’re not completely alone. And for the weight you’re carrying yourself, consider whether there’s someone in your own circle, or a pastor or support group, who could shoulder this with you, even for an hour. Carrying so many burdens alone isn’t sustainable, and asking for company in the grief isn’t weakness.

Lord, we lift up this neighbor who lost a little one, hold them close in their emptiness. We cry out with our friend for every person who has been abandoned, betrayed, or left without shelter or family. For the unborn whose lives were cut short, we trust them to Your eternal care. And for this weary heart praying with us, wrap them in Your mercy tonight. Be the refuge when no other refuge can be found. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The cry of your heart ascends like smoke from a smoldering wick, and He will not quench it. You have laid before the throne those little ones who never saw the light of day, those cast out and forgotten. Know this: the Shepherd gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart. They are not lost. In the heaven of heavens, the chief joy is to see Jesus, and these little ones behold His face without fault before the throne. The Lamb who was slain has said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me," and His mercy reaches further than any mother's forgetfulness. Though father and mother forsake, the Lord will receive.

For the living who wander in desolation, mercy still goes before them. It met Hagar by the well in the desert, a place of utter abandonment, and there she found that God sees. He that has mercy on them follows all the days of their lives. The errand of Christ is to seek and to save that which was lost. He breaks the covenant with death, and His own death is the ransom found. There is no pit so deep that His love is not deeper still. But His mercy does not leave a soul in its sin; it makes a new creation, granting repentance and faith. Without conversion, there is no entering the kingdom of heaven. You who pray, have you yourself fled to that refuge? Your only hope, and the only hope for any, is the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ. He bore wrath that mercy might be just.

Death is but a narrow stream, and glory lies on the other side. But even here, heaven can come down to us. The Lamb is our Shepherd; nothing can harm us if He leads. Trust Him who died and rose again. Only look to the cross, and say, "He loved me and gave Himself for me." There is no music in heaven sweeter than this: "I have found a ransom."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You bring before God the deep sorrow of abandonment and the untimely end of the unborn. Hear what the Scripture cries: "Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me." Consider the greatness of this promise. Even when human love fails entirely, when a mother forgets her nursing child, God's compassion does not forget. The innocent ones who never drew breath in this world are not beyond His sight. He who formed them in secret receives them into His own care. Let your heart rest here: God is not like man, that He should spurn the helpless. His mercy is from everlasting.

But remember what mercy itself demands of you. You pray for these little ones and for all who are abandoned. That is good, for prayer is a great good. But do not separate prayer from the works that make it acceptable. Show mercy, if you wish to obtain mercy. As I have often said, nothing is so characteristic of a Christian as a merciful soul. If we want God to have pity on us, we must first pour out pity on others. Let your neighbor see your compassion, and let your own hands be oil that soothes the wounds of the forsaken. Shelter the homeless, comfort the betrayed, speak for those who cannot speak. This is the true fast, the light that breaks forth like the morning.

Do not grow weary or faint under the weight of these evils. The mercy we have received from God is not only the remission of punishment, but the bestowal of sonship and an eternal inheritance. If Paul the persecutor obtained such exceeding grace, can you doubt that God's mercy reaches even the most desperate sorrow? Only believe with faith and love in Christ Jesus. Let no root of bitterness spring up in you toward those who have caused such harm. Forgiveness is not an injury to yourself but a release from the tormentors. The unmerciful will face judgment without mercy, but the merciful will be shown mercy.

Therefore, instead of dwelling on ancient exterminations or calling down judgment, become an instrument of mercy. Pray, yes, but also give, visit, shelter, defend. In this way you will both lighten the burdens of the afflicted and store up for yourself a treasure on the Day of Judgment. The innocent blood cries out, but the mercy of Christ cries louder still. Entrust those unborn children to God, and then go forth to be His hands in a world full of orphans and widows, that you may hear on that day: "Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you."

The weight of what you have written is heavy, and the cry behind it is heard. You are naming realities that are horrifying, the destruction of the unborn, the shattering of families, the deep abandonment that leaves souls feeling like they are in a barren wasteland without shelter or friend. That kind of suffering is not something to gloss over. It is a violation of how God made the world, and the madness of it drives people to a place of desperation. That you are bringing all this before the throne of grace is exactly the right response, because ultimately, there is no other refuge that will hold.

When you ache over innocent children who have been despised, hated, or discarded by the very ones meant to protect them, remember that God does not share human fickleness. The Scriptures tell us plainly that even if a father and mother forsake a child, the Lord himself will receive that little one. The love of a nursing mother for her baby is one of the strongest bonds on earth, yet God says even if that bond were severed and that mother felt no compassion, He would never forget. The little ones who have been torn from life, whether before birth or after, do not vanish into a void. Their souls are real. They exist. And they are safe in the mercy of a God whose capacity for love and reception is far deeper than any human rejection could be. We entrust them to Him.

What you are naming also touches a deep fear, that a family line, a generation, could be wiped out by this ancient and brutal practice. It feels like a slaughter of the future itself. And while the land is indeed polluted by innocent blood, we must never imagine that God’s mercy has run out. Mercy is not something we can exhaust, because it is not rooted in our worthiness but in His character. His mercy endures forever. It stretches as high as the heavens above the earth. That means no depth of guilt, no legacy of violence, and no amount of abandoned grief lies beyond its reach. When people cry out to Him, even after the most grievous sins, He hears. He responds. He forgives. And He will never say to a genuinely broken person, “I have no more mercy for you.” That judgment falls on those who refuse to turn; it does not fall on the broken who are begging for it.

You feel exposed, perhaps like there is no house, no family, no friend to be a true refuge. That is a terrifying exposure. But God has provided a refuge that is stronger than any city of stone. Jesus Christ is our holy place of protection. He is the one where mercy and truth meet together. If you came demanding justice, you would have reason to fear, because we all would. I never approach God asking for justice. I always come seeking mercy, because mercy is not getting what I deserve. And grace is receiving what I could never earn. Through the cross of Christ, the penalty for every sin, including the destruction of the most innocent, has been fully paid. Justice has been served so that mercy can flow freely to anyone who cries out, “Son of David, have mercy on me.”

Do not let the darkness of all these things convince you that God’s heart is closed. He delights to show mercy. Even when the guilt of a nation or a soul is great, when the cry goes up, He regards the affliction. He hears. And for those who feel they have no people, He makes a staggering promise: to those who were not His people, He will say, “You are my people,” and they will respond, “You are my God.” This is restoration. This is for the broken, the abandoned, and those who mourn over the destruction of the innocent.

So let your prayer rise like incense before Him now. Pour out your grief for your neighbor’s loss. Pour out your lament for all the unborn who have been sacrificed on the altar of convenience or malice. Pour out your own sense of homelessness and need for shelter. God’s throne is a throne of grace, not a throne of rejection. Go there boldly to obtain that mercy. Find in Jesus Christ the refuge that no earthly mother, father, friend, or house could ever provide. He will receive you, and in His mercy, He holds the little ones in a place no darkness can touch.

We have lifted up your heartfelt prayer with deep compassion, standing in the gap for the unborn, the abandoned, the betrayed, and all who are suffering without refuge. Your burden for the innocent lives lost, for families torn apart, and for those left without shelter or love has weighed heavily on our hearts as well. We have prayed earnestly for God’s mercy to surround every mother and father facing despair, every child left without a home, and every soul crying out for comfort in their abandonment.

Scriptures like Psalm 27:10 and Isaiah 49:15 remind us that even when earthly parents fail, our Heavenly Father never forsakes His children. We have asked Him to draw near to those who feel forgotten, to heal the wounds of rejection, and to cradle the little ones who were taken too soon in His loving arms. We have also prayed for those who are still in the midst of their pain—that God would provide shelter, restore broken relationships, and soften hardened hearts with His grace.

If the Lord has moved in answer to these prayers, we would be overjoyed to hear how He has worked. If the burden still feels heavy or the need remains unmet, we invite you to share it with us again so we may continue to intercede on your behalf. May the Lord bless you with His peace as you trust in Him, and may His love be a light in the darkness for all those you have lifted up. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
