God mercy Prayers often entrust innocent, aborted, or miscarried children to God’s care, asking Him to receive them into heaven. In the name of Jesus Christ mercy for it abandoned and murder unborn.

Abortive family ancients exterminate their generation.

Psalm 27:10Though my father and mother forsake (abandoned) me, the Lord/God will receive

Isaiah 49:15Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne?

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, grieving the loss of precious unborn lives and the deep suffering of those who feel abandoned, betrayed, or utterly alone. The pain of losing a child, whether through miscarriage, abortion, or abandonment, is a wound only God can fully heal. We stand in the gap for those who mourn, those who have no shelter, no family, no refuge, and we cry out to the Lord on their behalf.

The Word of God declares the sanctity of life from the moment of conception, for the Psalmist writes, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:13-14 WEB). Every child is a gift from the Lord, and the taking of innocent life through abortion is a grievous sin before Him. Yet even in this, we trust in His mercy, for He alone can receive these little ones into His arms. We pray that those who have participated in or been affected by abortion would find repentance, forgiveness, and healing in Christ Jesus.

For those who feel forsaken, whether by parents, spouses, children, or friends, we cling to the promise of Scripture: "Though my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet Yahweh will take me up" (Psalm 27:10 WEB). The Lord is a Father to the fatherless, a Husband to the widow, and a Shelter for the abandoned. He sees your tears, hears your cries, and will never leave nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). If you are without a home, a family, or a friend to turn to, we pray that God would provide refuge for you, whether through His people, His church, or His miraculous intervention.

We also lift up those who have been betrayed by those they trusted. Betrayal cuts deep, but Jesus knows this pain intimately. He was betrayed by one of His own disciples, yet He responded with love and forgiveness. We pray that you would find strength in Him to forgive, even when it feels impossible, and that He would restore what has been broken.

To those who are suffering in silence, we say: You are not alone. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so now. He is the only way to the Father, the only source of true peace and eternal life. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB). Confess your sins, turn from them, and trust in Jesus as your Savior and Lord. He will never turn you away.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for the lost, the broken, and the abandoned. We lift up every unborn child who has been taken from this world, and we trust them into Your loving care. Comfort those who mourn, Lord, and heal their wounds. For those who feel forsaken, be their Father, their Friend, and their Shelter. Provide refuge for the homeless, family for the lonely, and hope for the despairing.

We repent, Father, for the sin of abortion in our land. Forgive us, and turn the hearts of mothers and fathers toward life. Restore what has been broken, and bring healing to those who have been wounded by betrayal or abandonment.

Lord, we pray for those who do not yet know You. Draw them to Yourself, that they may find salvation in Jesus Christ alone. Surround them with Your love, and let them know that they are never alone.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

The weight of so many heavy burdens in your heart comes through clearly, neighbor’s unborn babies, abandoned ones, the homeless, those feeling forgotten. We grieve with you for these little lives lost and for everyone who is cast aside. When a nearby neighbor actually loses a child like this, the sorrow lands even closer to home, and it makes sense that the ache spreads to a whole crowd of others you’re carrying before God.

We can do something concrete for that grieving neighbor: often after such a loss the family feels isolated; a meal, a short note, or simply sitting with them without needing to fix anything can quietly show them they aren’t alone. That’s a small way the body of Christ can move toward someone in deep pain.

As for the enormous prayer list you’re holding, abandoned children, those without shelter, the unborn, we’d gently note that sometimes our own hearts weren’t built to carry the whole world’s suffering all at once. It’s not a lack of compassion to narrow your focus for a season to one or two people or situations you can actually serve, while trusting God to tend the rest. He sees every hidden sorrow and every voiceless life, and He will gather them to Himself. You don’t have to hold it all up alone.

Jesus, we bring before You the unborn babies who were never welcomed into human arms. Receive them in Your mercy. We lift up every person who feels abandoned, without home or family, and ask that You make a way of refuge, through Your people, through open doors, through Your quiet presence. Wrap Your comfort around the neighbor who has just lost a child, and give those nearby the courage to sit close in the silence. And when the needs seem unbearable, steady this praying heart with the truth that You do not forget one soul. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Ah, what a tangled mass of sorrow is bound up in this cry! The heart is torn asunder by the sight of little ones cast away, of families cut off, of ancient generations brought to nothing. The child forsaken by mother and father, the babe despised and murdered in the womb, these are black stains upon a world already drenched in sin. Yet into this darkness, the light of mercy shineth with a splendor that no shadow can overcome. The soul that is bruised and broken, flinging itself upon these promises, hath laid hold of the very cord that draweth heaven down to earth.

There is no gulf so wide between earth and heaven as gloomy thoughts suggest. The Lamb who sitteth upon the throne is the same who walked among us, full of compassion. He hath passed through the Red Sea of death for His own, and every infant soul, unbaptized by water yet bathed in the mystery of His blood, is received as surely as the psalmist spake, “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.” A mother may forget her sucking child, yet the Lord cannot forget the least of these. His mercy is not a distant hope, but a present reality, forestalling our cries, coming to us in the desert when we are most unworthy.

Think not that heaven is far off. Heaven is God fully enjoyed, and where mercy is shed abroad in the heart, there heaven hath already begun. The face we shall see in glory is the face that was marred for us; the Lamb that feedeth the souls of the redeemed is the same who said, “Suffer the little children to come unto me.” He is come to seek and to save that which was lost, lost families, lost generations, lost babes. He hath found a ransom, and that ransom is enough. No depth of human cruelty can undo the grip of His grace. The blood of the cross speaketh better things than that of Abel, crying not for vengeance but for pardon.

Cast thyself wholly upon this mercy. It is free, gratuitous, unbought by any goodness in us. What if thy heart be dry and prayerless? Mercy cometh while we are yet speaking. What if thy faith be weak? The Lamb doth not quench the smoking flax. Hell itself hath no power to unheaven the soul that is hidden in Christ. Therefore, pray on, yea, pray without ceasing for the abandoned, the motherless and fatherless, the unborn slain. Entrust them to the care of Him who doth all things well. Their song shall yet be heard in the New Jerusalem, where no death shall enter, and the former things are passed away.

And thou, O trembling heart, who feelest the weight of this lost estate, know that the mercy of God is not a vague hope for the self-righteous. It is for the undone. It cometh with converting power, making all things new. If thou dost feel thy need, it is because mercy hath already drawn near. The singular season of thy distress is the moment when the angel of the covenant meeteth thee at the well. Believe, then, in the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy house, yea, and all those whom thou dost carry upon thy heart before the throne. For He that hath shown mercy will never cease to show it, leading His flock to living fountains of waters, where all hunger and thirst are ended forever.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I see your heart crying out for the abandoned, the unborn who perish, and the many who suffer from the spirit of abortion. You cite the words of the Psalmist: "Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me." You recall the prophet's cry: "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast?" Indeed, God's mercy is beyond all human love. Yet you speak also of "abortive family ancients" and extermination of generations. This is a lament over the great sin of our age, the killing of the innocent, which cries out to heaven.

But let us not only lament; let us turn to the God of mercy. Nothing incenses God so much as to be pitiless, and nothing makes us like Him as mercy. You are showing mercy by praying for these little ones and for the abandoned. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. If you have had any part in this sin, do not despair; no sin is greater than God's loving-kindness. Run to the Physician of souls, and He will heal. As I have said, "If men show mercy to a merciful man, even if he has done innumerable wrongs, much more does God."

For the souls of those babies, they are in the hands of a just and merciful Creator. He who made them will not neglect them. Entrust them to His care with confidence. And for those who have committed this dread deed, let them weep and repent, and they will find a sea of mercy. Oil, the oil of almsgiving and tears, quenches the fire of hell. Show mercy to the poor, to the living children who are abandoned, and this will be a saving ointment for your soul.

Therefore, do not faint in your prayers. As we obtained mercy, so let us show mercy. The ministry of intercession is itself a gift of mercy. Pray without ceasing for all the suffering, and labor to be a shelter for the homeless, as you cry for shelter yourself. For God will measure back to you in the measure you give. May we all find mercy at that dreadful Day, through the loving-kindness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

What you have laid before the Lord is a cry from the very depths of anguish, abandonment, the slaughter of the innocent, the breakdown of every earthly shelter. This is not a small pain. When you speak of unborn lives despised and cast away, when you number the abandoned wives, husbands, daughters, and sons, when you describe having no house, no family, no friend to turn to, you are walking through a landscape of utter desolation. And yet, right there in the ash heap of grief, you have spoken the truest thing: only God can take these babies to heaven. Only God can be the refuge when all other refuge fails.

The Scriptures you reached for are exactly right. When father and mother forsake, the Lord will receive. A mother might forget the child at her breast and have no compassion, yet the Lord will not forget. Human love can fail in the most catastrophic ways. Whole generations can seem marked by abandonment and death. But the mercy of God stands over and above all of that.

I want you to see what kind of mercy this is. It is not a thin, hesitant mercy that might run out. It is the mercy of the God who stretched out the earth above the waters, who made the great lights, and who remembered us in our lowest state. His mercy endures forever. That is the repeated, relentless song of heaven. And when we come to Him covered in the ashes of our mourning, whether our own sin, our own loss, or the evil others have done, we do not come demanding justice. We come pleading mercy. Justice would be what we deserve; mercy is not getting what we deserve. And the staggering news is that God delights in mercy. He was looking for an excuse to show mercy to Israel when Moses interceded. He is not a reluctant forgiver waiting for you to exhaust His patience. He is the God who says, “I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy,” and He chose to pour that mercy out on the guilty through Jesus Christ.

At the cross, mercy and truth met together. Truth demanded that sin be punished, and mercy yearned to set the sinner free. Jesus bore the penalty, so that God could be just and still forgive you completely. For every one of those unborn children, their lives matter to Him, and they are safe in His care. For you, for every abandoned son or daughter, for every friend who has been betrayed, the mercy available in Christ is as high as the heavens are above the earth. It is not shallow. It reaches all the way down to the person who cries out, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” even when others try to silence you. Cry out all the more.

Do not listen to the lie that some ancient curse or inherited pattern of destruction has the final word. The mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon those who fear Him. Generations may have been tangled in abandonment, but God’s mercy is longer than any family line of brokenness. He sows those who were once “not my people” and says to them, “You are my people.” He takes the one who had not obtained mercy and wraps her in mercy.

So for your neighbor’s unborn baby, for every child lost, entrust them to the God who formed their inward parts and who gathers the lambs in His arms. For the living who wander without shelter, for the beggar, for the sister, for the brother, for the friend, may they find their true refuge in Him. And for you, may you know that you do not come before a throne of judgment this day. You come to a mercy seat, a throne of grace, because Jesus has made a way. His mercy endures forever. It will not run dry for you. In the name of Jesus Christ, you are not abandoned. You are received.
