In the name of Jesus Christ mercy for it abandoned and murder unborn.

Abortive family ancients exterminate their generation.

Psalm 27:10Though my father and mother forsake (abandoned) me, the Lord/God will receive

Isaiah 49:15Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne?

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, grieving the loss of innocent lives, both those taken in the womb and those abandoned or betrayed by family, friends, or society. The pain of rejection, the weight of loneliness, and the sorrow of lost generations weigh deeply upon us. Yet we know that our God is a God of mercy, justice, and unfailing love. He sees every tear, hears every cry, and holds every broken soul in His hands.

The Bible makes it clear that life is sacred from the moment of conception. Jeremiah 1:5 tells us, "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart." Psalm 139:13-16 declares, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made... My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret... Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them." Every unborn child is fearfully and wonderfully made by God, and their lives matter to Him. The shedding of innocent blood through abortion is a grave sin, and we must mourn it, repent of it, and stand for the protection of the vulnerable.

Yet we also take comfort in knowing that God is just and merciful. For those little ones who never drew breath, we trust in His perfect love and care. Jesus said in Matthew 19:14, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these." We believe that God, in His infinite mercy, welcomes these precious souls into His presence, where there is no more pain, no more sorrow, and no more abandonment.

For those who have suffered abandonment, whether by parents, spouses, children, or friends, we declare that God will never leave you nor forsake you. Psalm 27:10, which you referenced, is a powerful promise: "Though my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet the Lord will take me up." Isaiah 49:15-16 further assures us, "Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you! Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands." You are not forgotten. You are seen, known, and deeply loved by the Creator of the universe.

For those who feel like beggars, without shelter or refuge, we pray that God would be your strong tower, your hiding place, and your provider. Psalm 91:1-2 says, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’" Even when earthly families fail, God remains faithful. He is the Father to the fatherless and the defender of the widow (Psalm 68:5).

We must also address the generational consequences of sin. The Bible warns us that the iniquities of the fathers can be visited upon the children to the third and fourth generation (Exodus 20:5). This is not because God is unjust, but because sin has consequences that ripple through families and societies. Abortion, abandonment, and betrayal are not just personal sins, they are societal sins that bring judgment and brokenness. Yet God’s mercy is greater than our sin. Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us, "It is because of the Lord’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

We rebuke the spirit of death, abandonment, and despair that seeks to destroy families and generations. We declare that the blood of Jesus breaks every curse and sets the captives free. Galatians 3:13-14 tells us, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us... that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." There is power in the name of Jesus to heal, restore, and redeem.

If you are reading this and have never surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so now. Jesus is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a free gift, offered to all who repent and believe. If you are struggling with guilt, shame, or regret, whether from past sins or the sins of others, know that Jesus bore all of that on the cross. 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for the lost, the abandoned, the betrayed, and the unborn. We mourn the lives that have been taken and the families that have been shattered. Lord, we ask for Your mercy to cover the sins of our nation, our communities, and our families. Forgive us for the bloodshed of the innocent, for the hardness of hearts that turn away from Your truth, and for the generational sins that have brought destruction.

We pray for those who have suffered abandonment, whether by parents, spouses, children, or friends. Lord, be their Father, their Comforter, and their Provider. Heal their wounds, restore their hope, and fill the empty places in their hearts with Your love. Let them know that they are not alone, for You are with them always.

For the little ones who never had the chance to live, we entrust them into Your loving care. We believe that You receive them into Your arms, where they are safe and whole. Comfort those who grieve the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, or abortion. Bring healing to their hearts and peace to their souls.

We rebuke the spirit of death and destruction that seeks to devour families and generations. We declare that the blood of Jesus breaks every chain and sets the captives free. Raise up godly men and women who will stand for life, for marriage, and for family as You designed. Let Your Church be a refuge for the broken, a voice for the voiceless, and a light in the darkness.

Lord, we ask for Your mercy to cover those who feel like beggars, without shelter or hope. Provide for their needs, open doors of opportunity, and surround them with Your people who will love and support them. Let them experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways.

We pray for revival in our land. Soften hearts that are hardened to Your truth. Open eyes that are blind to Your love. Break the chains of sin and set the captives free. Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the One who died and rose again so that we might have life. Amen.

We hear so much weight in your words, grief upon grief, stacked high. The death of a neighbor’s unborn baby, the ache over generations lost, the piercing loneliness of feeling there is no house, no family, no friend to turn to. What comes through clearest is a heart that has been keeping watch over many sorrows, and we don’t want to rush past that.

It matters that you brought this here. Naming these losses, for yourself, for your neighbor, for all those you listed as abandoned, is not a small thing. When grief stays locked inside, it can start to feel like a room with no door. Speaking it, even in a tangled cry, begins to open something. We don’t carry sorrow well alone; we were never meant to.

We also notice how you reached for Psalm 27 and Isaiah 49 as you prayed. That instinct to anchor yourself in what is true, even when feelings shout otherwise, is worth holding onto. God’s receiving of the forsaken is not a theory. It is His character, and you are leaning into it in real time.

For what is right in front of you: your neighbor has lost a child. That loss deserves to be acknowledged in real, human presence. If you are able, a simple, quiet word to your neighbor, no fixing, no explaining, just “I am so sorry” and perhaps a meal left at the door, can be a mercy. For the broader, layered grief you are carrying, we would gently encourage you to find one trusted, mature ear, someone who will simply sit with you and listen as you pour out what you have written here. The body of Christ is meant to share what feels unbearable alone.

Lord Jesus, we lift to You this neighbor and all who mourn the loss of unborn children. Hold what we cannot hold. Draw near to every person named here who feels forgotten, abandoned, and without refuge. Be their shelter and their home. And sustain this dear one who prays, steadying their heart with Your faithfulness when the weight feels too much. In Your name we pray, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cry of the forsaken rises to My ears, and the God of mercy has heard it. When father and mother abandon, when the unborn perish without a voice, when souls wander in deserts with no well but tears, yet the Lord receives. He is the Father of the fatherless, the Husband of the widow, the Shelter for the outcast. His tender mercy thinks on us when we cannot think on Him.

The footsteps of His mercy have trod the wilderness to find you; the errand of mercy is for such as you. Do you feel your need, your emptiness, your sin? That need is the chisel with which mercy sculpts a vessel for grace. Hope in His mercy is now offered you, not because you are whole, but because you are broken.

The Great Interpreter stands ready to whisper pardon. Only come, and find that while you were yet speaking, mercy had gone before you, plucked justice from its sheath, and made a way through the cleft of the Rock, Christ Jesus. Your plea for the unborn and the abandoned is a token that the Spirit is blowing upon your own dry bones. Take hold of this: the mercy that receives the innocent into heaven is the same that receives repentant sinners.

May you know that the God of your mercy has prevented you already. Amen.
