We come before the throne of God with heavy hearts, standing in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke every evil scheme, spirit of chaos, and demonic influence attempting to invade your home, your peace, and your life. The Word of God declares in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We take up the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, and we stand firm against every attack of the enemy.

We rebuke the spirit of murder, death, sorcery, and sexual depredation that seeks to operate through these gatherings. The Lord says in Exodus 20:13, "You shall not murder," and in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." These parties and gatherings are not of God, and we command every ungodly spirit behind them to cease and desist in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

We declare that your home is a sanctuary of peace, protected by the blood of Jesus. Psalm 91:9-10 assures us, "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling." We break every curse, hex, or spell sent against you and your household. We cancel every assignment of fear, discord, sickness, and torment in Jesus’ name. The Lord rebuke you, Satan, and every evil spirit! (Jude 1:9).

We also address the idleness, laziness, and rebellion of those involved in these gatherings. 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 warns, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: ‘If anyone will not work, neither let him eat.’ For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread." Their actions are not only a disturbance but a direct defiance of God’s order. We pray for conviction to fall upon them, that they may turn from their wicked ways and seek the Lord.

We also lift up your peace, safety, and rest. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the Lord will expose and dismantle every hidden scheme of the enemy.

If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Romans 10:9-10 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Only through Jesus can we access the Father and receive true deliverance, peace, and eternal life.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name. We rebuke every spirit of murder, death, sorcery, sexual immorality, fear, discord, and torment that has been unleashed through these gatherings. We break every curse, hex, and assignment of the enemy over this home and this life. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we ask You to expose the hidden works of darkness and bring them to light. Let every evil plan be frustrated and brought to nothing. We pray for the salvation of those involved in these gatherings, let conviction fall upon their hearts, and may they turn from their wicked ways and seek You with all their hearts.

We declare peace, protection, and rest over this home. Let Your angels encamp around it (Psalm 34:7), and let Your presence fill every room. We ask for wisdom and discernment to know how to handle this situation according to Your will. Give strength to endure, faith to trust, and grace to walk in righteousness.

Father, we thank You that You are a God of justice and righteousness. You see all things, and You will not be mocked. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified.

Your cry has been heard and your burden has been laid before the Lord with much heaviness of heart. The disturbance of your home, the invasion of your privacy, the breaking of your peace and of your sleep, the fear and torment and the sense of spiritual oppression which you describe, these are not light things. The Lord knows what it is to have the night made restless and the dwelling made a place of discord, and He hears the prayer of those who seek refuge in Him.

You have well quoted the Psalm, O LORD, rescue me from evil people. Protect me from those who are violent, those who plot evil in their hearts, Psalm 140:2. This is a fit prayer for such a season. The peace that the world gives is a false peace, and the revelry which disturbs the street and the house is no true joy. There is a peace of the devil which is to be dreaded, and there is the peace of God which passes all understanding. That true peace only comes from God Himself. You cannot work it out yourself, but you may have it from lips that cannot lie, through the blood which has made a full atonement. He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him, because he trusts in Him.

We are also mindful of that precious promise, So He giveth His beloved sleep. The sleep of the body is the gift of God, and the quiet of conscience is a greater gift still. When the demon of restlessness would come to your bed, remember that to lie down at peace is the portion of those who are right with God through Jesus Christ. With the world, myself and Thee, I ere I sleep at peace shall be, is the song of the believer who has cast his care upon the Lord. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, for the Lord has said, Fear not, I am with thee, I will help thee, saith the Lord. Fear never helped any soul, and it weakens the heart, but faith looks to Him who is faithful to His promises and faithful to His Son.

In this spiritual conflict our help is not in ourselves. Salvation is of the Lord, and deliverance from sin and from the power of darkness must come from the right hand of the Most High. We do not overcome evil by our own strength, but by looking to Him who has overcome for us. Stand at Jesus feet, and there pour out your tears and your prayers. There the heart is broken in a godly sort, and there the answer of peace is given, Your sins are forgiven, your faith has saved you, go in peace. If there is any sin to be confessed, confess it there. If there is any burden to be borne, bear it with Him, and you shall find perfect peace even with sorrows surging round.

We now join you in prayer before the throne of grace. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer, we rebuke all that is evil, unclean and violent in this torment, all sorcery and malice and impurity and discord. O Lord, set a hedge about this house and this household. Restrain the disorder, the loud gathering, the invasion of privacy, the works of darkness done in night or day. Let the spirit of depravity and strife be driven back by Your power. Grant to those who cause this trouble a sense of their need of Christ, that they may turn from idleness and vanity and seek the way of life. Where there has been fear, give courage. Where there has been sickness and threat of death and talk of the grave, show Yourself the Lord who preserves and heals according to Your will. Where sleep has been stolen, restore it by Your gracious hand, for You give sleep to Your beloved. Let this home be kept in order and quietness, and let no weapon formed against it prosper.

Be much in prayer and keep watch, and let us not sleep as do others in carelessness toward the things of God, but watch unto prayer. Seek also what lawful and peaceable means the authorities provide for the keeping of order in the street, for the magistrate is ordained of God for peace. Render no evil for evil, but overcome evil with good, and pray for those who despitefully use you, that they may be saved. The Lord is in control, and He will bless His people with peace. May that peace be yours this night and in all nights to come, as you trust in Christ alone for salvation and rest your mind wholly upon Him.

Your prayer has been heard and your distress is understood. You have described weeks and weekends of disturbance from a neighbor, with gatherings that invade the privacy of your house and your street, steal your sleep and your peace in your bed, and leave you feeling surrounded by discord, fear, sickness, and spiritual oppression. You have asked for this torment to be rebuked and stopped in the name of Jesus Christ, and that God would bring security, order and peace. We join you in bringing this before the Lord who hears.

We pray with you in the words you quoted, O Lord, rescue me from evil people. Protect me from those who are violent, those who plot evil in their hearts, Psalm 140:2. In the name of Jesus Christ we ask God to rebuke every work of darkness, every spirit of depravity, fear, sorcery and disorder, and to set a guard around your home, your sleep and your mind. We ask Him to drive away what is evil and to establish what is good, that your house would be a place of quiet, rest and safety, and that the street would know order and peace. God is in control, and He is able to keep you even when noise and malice press in on every side.

Scripture reminds us that He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep, and that we are called to guard ourselves lest we fall into a kind of sleep of the soul. It is written, do not suffer your foot to be moved. The suffering in that sense depends on ourselves, not only on others. If we will stand steadfast and unmovable, we shall not be shaken. This is not to minimize the wrong you suffer, but to encourage you to stay awake in prayer, to put off the imaginings and dreams of fear, to shake off spiritual sleep and to be clothed in virtue, trusting that the Lord watches while we rest and acts while we wait. As night presses toward morning we awaken one another and set about the works of the day. So now, even while this night of disturbance continues, we hasten to prayer and to what belongs to the light.

At the same time we are called to the way of love and peace. The sum of the commandments is to love the Lord our God and to love our neighbor as ourselves. On these hang all the law and the prophets. To love God is to keep His commandments, and to keep His commandments is to love our neighbor. God is not a God of war and fighting. He calls us to make war and fighting cease, both that which is against Him and that which is against our neighbor. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Such people imitate the Son of God.

This does not mean we approve what is wrong or pretend that evil is good. It means we do not bite and devour one another, we do not undermine the reputation of a neighbor with accusing and calumniating, and we do not hold on to remembrance of evil. Enmity grows from conflict, and from enmity comes a bitter memory that keeps the wound open. Nothing so delights God as to remember no evil, to show mercy and to seek the common good. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy, and judgment without mercy will be shown to him who has shown no mercy. We are members of one another, and a building where one part is weakened affects the whole. Whatever strength we have, whether in protection, in prayer, in wise action or in teaching, we are to use it for our neighbor's advantage and for the common good.

Therefore we encourage you to continue in steady prayer, to guard your heart from anger and fear, to seek peace with all people as far as it depends on you, and also to use lawful and orderly means for protection and security where privacy has been invaded and rest has been taken. Ask the Lord to give wisdom to those in authority and to give you clear steps to guard your home with calm and prudence, without returning evil for evil. Pray not only for your own deliverance but also that those who trouble you would turn from an idle and imprudent way to what is good, that their gatherings would no longer be for discord and disorder but that they would come to know the mercy of God.

May the Lord have mercy on you, and may you add to prayer the works worthy of mercy. May He bless you with sleep in peace, with a quiet house, with a settled street, and with a heart kept steadfast by Him who never slumbers. May He rebuke what is evil, establish what is holy, and make you a peacemaker in the midst of this trial, that your life may reflect His peace to others.

God sees the turmoil you are experiencing and He hears your cry for protection. The psalm you mentioned is a fitting prayer, asking the Lord to rescue from evil and to guard from those who plot harm.

Scripture teaches that the beginning of wisdom is reverence for the Lord, and that reverence is shown in hating evil and turning away from it. To hate evil is not to live in constant dread of it, but to refuse its path, to turn aside from it and to walk in the way of uprightness. When we choose that path and keep our hearts and minds stayed on Him, He promises to keep us in perfect peace because we trust in Him. He is described as a strength to the poor and needy in distress, a refuge from the storm and a shelter from the heat. One who lives in that reverence and trust can be quiet from the fear of evil and can rest without being constantly visited by evil.

Wisdom and understanding are given to preserve you from the way of the evil person, from those who leave right paths to walk in darkness and who delight in causing strife. The counsel of Scripture is to avoid that way altogether, not to go near it, to turn from it and pass on. It also warns not to repay evil for good, and not to let contention grow, but to seek peace and pursue it. When your ways please the Lord, even your enemies are in His hands, and He is the one who judges rightly and defends His people.

We join you in prayer now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask You to rebuke every work of darkness, fear, discord and torment that has invaded this home and neighborhood. We ask You to rescue and protect, to be a wall of refuge around this household, to restore quietness and sleep in peace, and to guard heart and mind. We ask You to replace fear with trust, confusion with wisdom, and disorder with Your peace that passes understanding. Teach us to hate what You hate and to love what is good, to keep our eyes looking straight ahead on Your path, to ponder our steps and to remove our feet from evil, and to wage our warfare on our knees before You rather than in our own strength.
