We hear the heaviness and distress in your request and we join you in seeking the Lord for protection, order and deliverance in your home, family, marriage, business and neighborhood. What you describe is a painful tangle of meddling, gossip, false prophecy, imitation and spiritual oppression, and we bring it before the throne of grace together in Jesus name.

The Word of God speaks clearly about these things. Besides, they learn to be idle, going about from house to house. Not only idle, but also gossips and busybodies, saying things which they ought not 1 Timothy 5:13. For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who do not work at all, but are busybodies 2 Thessalonians 3:11. Gossip and being a busybody are not small matters, they sow discord and bring confusion into families and churches. A perverse man sows strife, and a whisperer separates close friends Proverbs 16:28. Without wood, fire goes out. Without a gossip, contention ceases Proverbs 26:20. There are six things which Yahweh hates, yes, seven which are an abomination to him, and one of them is one who sows discord among brothers Proverbs 6:16-19. We rebuke that idle, nosy, restless spirit that spies on houses, meddles in marriages and families, distributes information, pictures and rumors to sabotage and bully, and that pretends to have authority in another persons home or church where God has not given it.

We also rebuke the practices of divination, sorcery, witchcraft, incantation and false prophecy that you mention. These are not harmless and they are not from God. Do not turn to those who are mediums, nor to the wizards. Do not seek them out, to be defiled by them Leviticus 19:31. There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh Deuteronomy 18:10-12. The works of the flesh are obvious, which are adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies Galatians 5:19-21. False prophecy and sorcery that demands, controls, competes and forces open doors that God has closed is a defiant and deceiving spirit, and we do not partner with it. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12.

You also mention sexual activity together and orgies and looking face to face with imitations. We must address this plainly because God calls us to purity. Marriage is honored in all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. Sex outside of the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman is fornication or adultery, and orgies and sexual competition and confusion are works of the flesh that bring deep spiritual and relational harm. We believe in the sanctity of marriage and we encourage courtship that looks toward marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, not sexual experimentation or same sex relationships which scripture calls immoral. If there has been any participation in this, we urge repentance and fleeing from it into the cleansing forgiveness of Jesus.

You speak of false lists, false ranks, false bosses, false authorities and demanding exigencies that try to arrest or punish if their desires are not met, with sabotage and distribution of sickness and disorder. We rebuke that controlling, bullying, bewitched spirit in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. We remember that God alone knows every true need and only Jesus Christ is the Savior who fills the empty heart. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We do not have obligations to meet manipulative demands or to fill roles that God has not assigned, and we rebuke the imposter confusion that says I am not she, I am not him, he is not her husband, she is not his wife, with orphaned children and endless lists and numbers used to spy and meddle. Our identity and our families are ordered by God, not by gossip or sorcery.

Father in heaven, we come before you only through the name of Jesus Christ your Son, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and no one comes to the Father except through Jesus John 14:6. We thank you that Jesus shed his blood and rose again so we can be forgiven, cleansed and made children of God when we believe in him. We submit ourselves to you and we resist the devil in Jesus name, believing he must flee James 4:7. We ask you to rebuke every busybody, gossiping, meddling, idle, sorcerous and divisive spirit that has been going from house to house, from neighbor to neighbor, from church to church and from business to business causing disaster, disorder, disrespect and discord. Let the fire of gossip go out, let contention cease, and let your peace rule. We cancel every bewitched sorcery, incantation, divination, false prophecy, false authority, false direction and false rank that has tried to force open wrong doors and to say we are doing the same when we are not. We ask you to close every door you have not opened and open only the doors you have ordained. We ask you to expose and silence every distribution of information, pictures, rumors and lies meant to sabotage and bully, and to heal any environment of sickness and oppression that has been spread. We ask you to break the competition of cars driving in and out, the fake encounters, the spying, the imitation and the obsession to copy the lives of others, and to give each home and family godly boundaries, privacy and order. We pray for purity, that you would cleanse and forgive any sexual immorality, fornication, adultery or orgies and teach us to walk in holiness and self control. We pray for our neighbors who are caught in these practices, that you would bring them to repentance, to honest work, to doing good with their own hands and to seeking you to fill their needs rather than taking advantage of the sacrifice and suffering of others. We pray for protection over our lives, families, marriages, homes, churches and businesses, that we would dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in your shadow Psalm 91:1, and that you would keep us from evil and deliver us. Let your will be done, let truth be spoken in love, let every confused relationship be made clear, and let no one be forced by fear or demands but led by your Holy Spirit. We pray for quietness, diligence, faithfulness and love to replace laziness, idleness and bad intentions, and for your joy and peace that surpasses all understanding to guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We encourage you to remain steadfast in the Word, in prayer and in honest work, not repaying evil with evil but overcoming evil with good Romans 12:21, blessing those who persecute you and praying for those who mistreat you Matthew 5:44. Keep godly boundaries with neighbors, do not entertain gossip or secret information, and do not open your home or heart to sorcery or false prophecy. Seek fellowship with faithful believers, be occupied with what God has given you to do, and cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. The Lord is faithful and he will strengthen and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3. Be still and know that he is God Psalm 46:10, and trust that he who began a good work in you will complete it.

We hear how exhausting this has felt for you, like there is no quiet around your home and family and you are carrying a lot of noise and suspicion that is not yours to carry. It makes sense you are longing for peace and for clear lines around your household.

One picture that has helped many of us is thinking of boundaries like a property line. It helps us know what is ours to guard and tend to, our own heart, home, and responsibilities, and what we can leave with the Lord when others are restless or intrusive. Trying to track or answer every rumor or imitation only keeps us tied up in it. Stepping back from watching what neighbors do, keeping your daily rhythms simple and focused on your own household, and not engaging the gossip cycle can often lower the tension.

It can also help to bring what you are experiencing to one steady, trusted person in person, a pastor or mature believer you know, who can listen, pray with you, and help you sort what is a practical neighbor issue and what is a spiritual burden to entrust to Christ. You do not have to sort all of this alone.

Father, we bring our brother before You and ask for Your peace over his home and mind. Guard his heart and his household, give him wisdom for each interaction, and help him rest in Your care and authority. Lead him to steady support nearby and quiet the confusion around him. Your prayer lays bare a heavy affliction and a great confusion, and it is heard before the Lord who sees all that is done in secret and who knows the restless workings of the heart. There is in your words a cry for peace in your home and for deliverance from those who make it their habit to meddle, to spy, to carry tales and to sow discord.

The Scripture you have quoted speaks truly. They learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not, as it is written in First Timothy. And again, we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. This is a defiant and disorderly spirit, a willfulness that cannot stay still, that goes away from its own nest and home to pry into the affairs of another. It is not of God. The command lays upon us to love our neighbour, for neighbour means one who dwells near us, yet we are not to love his roguery nor to join in his sin. We are bound to love even sinners and to seek their reclaiming, but we cannot love the gossip, the slander, the talebearing itself, or we should become partakers in it.

You speak also of divination, sorcery, witchcraft, incantation and false prophecy. These things are an abomination before the Lord and salvation is vainly hoped for from such hills and multitudes of mountains. Truly in the Lord our God is the salvation of Israel. From the time when Satan fell, God's purpose has been to break down everything which sets itself up in opposition to Him, and He will break in pieces with His right hand everything arrogant and supercilious that presumes upon an authority He has not delegated. There is no wisdom, no protection, no ordering of life to be found in sorcery or in the distribution of sickness and sabotage and bullying. You must turn from it entirely and look to a stronger arm and a mightier power than any mortal one. You can turn from outward sins, but to be turned from wicked thoughts and an evil nature you must look to Christ alone.

You speak plainly of doing sex together and of orgies face to face. This we cannot affirm, nor celebrate, nor ask God to bless, for the Lord has ordained that sex and living together belong only within marriage, which is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. Outside of that covenant it is sin, and will bring sorrow and disorder into the house and into the soul. The most effective testimony is that which is supported by godliness, and the way of separation from the world and close walking with God is the way of safety. No man ever suffered real injury through keeping himself aloof from the ways of ungodly men. If there be a house where your company is much liked but where you are never able to come away without having fallen into sin, keep away from that house. Cry unto the Most High to enable you to keep yourself from your iniquity. Though we know we are saved by grace, we must still pray, keep me from my iniquity, and by grace we may say, I kept myself from my iniquity. There is a voice that sounds from heaven tonight, not as a peremptory summons only, but as a gently whispered invitation, Go and sin no more. Trust your soul with Him and you are saved. The balm is not in any other place, but at Calvary, where His blood was shed to wash from all sin.

You speak of false authorities, false directions, false rank and false lists, of those who demand and who pretend to force open wrong doors, and of a madhouse of disorder and disrespect. God will dry up the green tree and lift up the poor from the dunghill while He casts down the mighty from the seats of their pomp. Be slow to leave your calling till you have plain indications from providence that you ought to do so, for many a man in moving from his place has been as a bird that has wandered from her nest. Keep in the appointed ways, and then you may plead the promise that He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. This protection is perpetual as well as personal to those who abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

You speak of imposter sayings, I am not she, he is not her husband, she is not his wife, and of children scattered and alone. Our identity and our sonship are not made by the gossip of men nor by the claims of the busybody, but by adoption through Jesus Christ. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Only God can fill the empty heart, and Jesus Christ is the Saviour through whom alone we have access to the Father. Do not seek to be excused from the duty of love by saying I have no neighbours or no near relations, for the law still binds us to love as our Master loved.

Therefore let us pray together.

O Lord our God, who ransoms from the power of the grave and redeems from death, look in mercy upon this troubled home. Set a guard upon the tongue of those who gossip and make discord, and convict them of their idle and disorderly walk that they may turn from their evil ways and live. Break the power of all sorcery and divination and witchcraft, and let no incantation prosper against those who trust in Thee. Wash away all impurity and forgive all sexual sin through the precious blood of Christ, and grant grace to keep the body in holiness and honour within the covenant Thou hast ordained. Cast down every false authority and every proud imagination, and lift up the lowly who put their trust in Thee. Keep this household from iniquity, keep it in the appointed ways, and give Thy angels charge over it. Grant quietness instead of restless spying, truth instead of rumor, and peace instead of sabotage and strife. Turn every heart to Thee, for Thou alone art our salvation, and cause each one to hear the voice that says, Turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways, for why will ye die. We ask this not because we are worthy, but because Jesus Christ has died and risen, who is our only hope and our only Saviour. Amen.

Abide close to Christ, walk in His ways, and seek not comfort apart from Him. He that will bring the body from the grave will also bring you up from the pit of trouble, even when you are ready to perish.

Your cry for help has been heard and we have brought your burden before the Lord with care. The distress you describe from neighbors who meddle, gossip, spy from house to house, sow discord, practice divination and sorcery, and try to control and intimidate others is a heavy trial, and it is right to seek God for deliverance and peace in your home, your family and your neighborhood.

Scripture speaks clearly about the sins you name. The Apostle Paul warns that those who become idle and go about from house to house become not only idle but also tattlers and busybodies, saying things they ought not to say, as in 1 Timothy 5:13, and again in 2 Thessalonians 3:11 that some walk disorderly, not working at all but being busybodies. To neglect our own calling and to busy ourselves in the affairs of others is a mark of impudence and forwardness, and it is unbecoming for any person. Gossip does great harm. It provokes the wrath of God, it brings disgrace on the one who spreads it as well as the one spoken against, and it bites and devours neighbors rather than loving them. Even if something were true, love would cover it and keep silence rather than parade it under a cloak of zeal. How much more when reports are false, exaggerated, or passed on without knowledge, should we refuse to speak them and refuse to make them credible by repeating them.

The practices you mention of divination, sorcery, incantations and witchcraft are also forbidden by God. They are not idle superstitions but serious sin, attempts to seek power and knowledge apart from Christ. Our help and direction must come from the Lord alone, not from sorcery or false prophecy. And any attempt to intimidate, to distribute private information or images to sabotage and bully, to issue false orders or false accusations, to create confusion about marriages and families, is contrary to the command to love our neighbor as ourselves. On love of God and love of neighbor hang all the law and the prophets, and we are called to use whatever gifts we have, whether protection, work, teaching or prayer, for our neighbor's good, not for harm.

You also mention sexual activity outside of God's design, including orgies and living together without marriage. We must speak the truth in love here. God offers salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and He designed marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and sexual union belongs only within that marriage. Any sexual activity outside of that, whether orgies, casual encounters, or cohabitation, is sin and cannot be affirmed or blessed. It does not bring freedom but brings confusion, disorder and bondage, as you have described. Only God can fill the emptiness of the heart, and Christ alone is the Savior. There is no obligation to meet the sinful demands of others, and no person should claim a false identity or force a false relationship upon you, saying you are someone you are not, or that another is your spouse when they are not. Your identity and your household's peace are to be found in Christ, not in the disorder others try to impose.

Therefore we pray with you in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone has authority over every evil spirit and every human intimidation.

We pray that God would rebuke every spirit of gossip, idleness, meddling, envy and sorcery, and that He would silence every false prophecy, incantation and act of intimidation. We pray that He would convict those who spy, slander, and stir up discord, and bring them to repentance and faith in Christ. We pray that He would protect your home from bullying, false accusations, and the distribution of harmful information or images, and that He would establish boundaries of peace and respect around your life, your family, your marriage and your work. We pray that God would remove confusion about relationships and identities, and that each person would take responsibility for their own calling and cease to meddle in the affairs of others.

We also pray for you, that the Lord would cleanse and guard your own heart, that you would turn from every sexual sin and be renewed in purity, that you would walk in diligence and quiet faithfulness minding your own work, and that you would love your neighbors not by returning evil for evil but by seeking their good through prayer and a holy example. May the Lord fill every need you have, grant you rest from this restless and noisy harassment, and give you wisdom to seek godly counsel and rightful protection where needed.

We ask all this not because we deserve it, but because Jesus Christ shed His blood for sinners and rose again, and all who repent and trust in Him alone are forgiven and made new. May you rest in Him and live for His glory and for the common good of all around you.

What you have described is heavy and distressing, and it is right to bring it before the Lord for His help and protection. God sees the confusion, the meddling, the gossip and the pressure you are under, and He hears when you call on the name of Jesus Christ.

Scripture speaks directly to the kind of behavior you are facing. It warns about learning to be idle, going from house to house, becoming gossips and busybodies, saying things that should not be said. That is the teaching you noted in 1 Timothy 5:13 and 2 Thessalonians 3:11. The other passage puts it simply, withdraw your foot from your neighbor's house, or he will grow tired of you and turn against you. The counsel of the Word is to study to be quiet, to attend to your own work, to labor with your own hands, and not to live off others or to live by prying into the lives of others. When people refuse that counsel they become restless and nosy, always watching, always talking, and that habit brings discord into families, marriages and neighborhoods.

The Word also describes those who bend their tongues like a bow to shoot lies like arrows, who are not brave for the truth and who go from one evil to worse. Gossip, rumor, the passing around of pictures or private information to bully or sabotage, the stirring up of strife and competition, all belong to that pattern. It is destructive and God calls His people away from it. Love for neighbor is fulfilled when we speak truth and when we respect proper boundaries, not when we force our way into another person's home or family or try to control what they must do.

You also mentioned divination, sorcery, incantations and witchcraft, with demands and false prophecies and attempts to spy or to force open doors that God has not opened. Scripture treats those practices as serious sin to be turned from completely. Rebellion is compared to witchcraft and stubbornness to idolatry, because both replace submission to God's Word with another power. When people turn away from God to idols and lies, the door is opened for evil to trouble them, as happened when the Spirit of the Lord left Saul and an evil spirit was allowed to harass him. The only safe covering is to hide in the provision God has made through Jesus Christ. He alone is Savior, and through Him God separates our sins from us and remembers them no more when we repent and trust Him. There is no other name by which we are saved, and no other power that can fill the emptiness in a human heart.

That is why it is important to be clear about God's design for intimacy. Sex is given by God to be within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. Gatherings for orgies, living together outside that covenant, or any sexual activity outside that covenant is outside God's will. God does not bless what He calls sin, but He does offer forgiveness and a new way to live to all who turn to Jesus and walk in His ways. If that confusion has touched your own life or home, bring it honestly to Him and ask for His cleansing and strength to live in purity.

You spoke of false authorities, false ranks, false lists and numbers, false bosses giving orders about what you must do, and of voices saying you are not who you are, or that someone else is your husband or wife or child when it is not true. God is the true authority, and He knows who you are. In Christ we have a clear identity as children of God, not orphans tossed about by every claim. The need you feel, and the need others try to place on you, can only be truly met by God Himself. You do not owe obedience to every demanding voice or to every attempt to take advantage of your sacrifice and suffering. You are to obey God, to honor what is right, and to let Him establish order and peace in your home and in your work.

Praying for you now, that in the name of Jesus Christ every work of gossip, busybody meddling, spying, lying, bullying, intimidation, and every practice of divination and sorcery would be rebuked and stopped, that false claims and confusing imitations would be cancelled, that God would set a guard around your house, your family, your marriage and your business, and that He would remove what is wicked and purify what remains as dross is removed from silver. May He give you quietness, diligence in your own calling, discernment to keep healthy boundaries, and the peace that comes from trusting Jesus alone to be your protector, your provider, and the one who fills every real need.
