Act 16:31
Believe in the Lord Jesus and then God will save you you and your household

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your family in fervent prayer. The pain of disunity, betrayal, and strife within a family is a burden no one should have to carry alone, and we stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone can bring true healing and restoration. The shouting, insults, and ungratefulness you describe are not the fruit of the Spirit, and we rebuke these works of the flesh in Jesus’ name. The Bible warns us in Galatians 5:19-21, "Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom." These behaviors grieve the Holy Spirit, and we pray that God would convict hearts and bring repentance.

We also lift up your mother, who is battling suicidal thoughts and a toxic environment. This is a spiritual attack, and we command the spirit of death and despair to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We pray for divine protection over her mind and emotions, that she would be surrounded by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that God would provide a way of escape from every temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Your act of forgiveness, even when your family does not recognize their wrongdoing, is a powerful testimony of Christ’s love in you. Jesus taught us in Luke 23:34, "Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing." This is the heart of the gospel, grace extended even to those who do not deserve it. Yet we must also address the reality of sin and its consequences. The Bible calls us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), and we encourage you to gently but firmly confront sin with the hope of repentance. Proverbs 27:5-6 tells us, "Better is open rebuke than hidden love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend; although the kisses of an enemy are profuse." Your family needs to hear the truth, not just to be enabled in their sin.

We also notice the strain in your marriage due to your spouse’s lack of support for your family. While we understand the difficulty of this situation, we must remind you that marriage is a covenant before God, and both spouses are called to honor and submit to one another out of reverence for Christ (Ephesians 5:21-33). We pray that God would soften your spouse’s heart and help them see the importance of unity and love within the family of God. If there is unforgiveness or bitterness in your own heart toward your spouse, we encourage you to release it to the Lord, for harboring resentment will only hinder your prayers (Mark 11:25).

The financial struggles you mention are real, and we trust that God, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We pray for wisdom in managing resources and for opportunities to be reconciled with your family, even if it requires sacrifice. The reunion you long for may not happen in this life, but we take comfort in the promise that one day, in heaven, there will be no more tears, sorrow, or pain (Revelation 21:4). Until then, we must walk by faith, trusting that God is working all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts, lifting up this family to You. Lord, You see the pain, the strife, and the brokenness that has taken root in their midst. We ask that You would pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them, bringing conviction where there is sin, healing where there is hurt, and unity where there is division. Father, we rebuke the spirit of discord and confusion in Jesus’ name, and we declare that Your peace, which transcends all understanding, would guard their hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7).

We pray specifically for this mother who is battling suicidal thoughts. Lord, we ask that You would surround her with Your love and protection. Let her feel Your presence in a tangible way, and remind her that her life is precious in Your sight. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will provide a way of escape from every temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13). Father, we ask that You would bring godly people into her life who can speak life and truth to her.

For the rest of the family, we ask that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth. Convict them of their sin, Lord, and lead them to repentance. Help them to see the harm they are causing one another and to seek reconciliation. We pray that they would turn from their wicked ways and seek Your face (2 Chronicles 7:14). Father, we ask that You would restore relationships and bring healing to their hearts.

We also lift up this marriage, Lord. We ask that You would strengthen the bond between this husband and wife. Help them to love one another as You have loved us (John 13:34). Give them wisdom in how to navigate the challenges they face, and help them to extend grace and forgiveness to one another.

Father, we trust in Your provision. You know the financial struggles this family is facing, and we ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Help them to be good stewards of what You have given them and to trust in You for their daily bread.

Lord, we thank You for the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. We look forward to the day when we will be reunited with our loved ones in heaven, where there will be no more pain, sorrow, or death (Revelation 21:4). Until then, help us to walk by faith and to trust in Your goodness.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His power that we can overcome the enemy. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Dear friend, we lift your family to the Lord together, knowing He sees every tear and hears every cry for help. The pain of broken relationships and the weight of unforgiveness must feel overwhelming, but we hold onto the truth that God is a God of reconciliation. He can turn hearts of stone into hearts of flesh and replace bitterness with His peace.

We pray for your mother especially, that the Lord would surround her with His love and protection. May she feel His presence so strongly that despair has no room to take hold. We ask for godly friendships and wise counsel to speak life into her situation.

For your family torn apart by conflict, we stand on the promise that God is able to do more than we can imagine. Pray for soft hearts to be open to truth and reconciliation. Even when it feels impossible, God specializes in miracles. We also pray for your marriage, that God would bind you both together in a way that reflects His love.

Lord, we ask for provision and wisdom for financial needs, trusting You to provide in miraculous ways. Help us to forgive as You have forgiven us and to extend grace when it’s hard.

In Jesus’ name we pray.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
