The contagion of divorce you describe—affecting families, friendships, businesses, and marriages—is a scheme of Satan to tear apart what God has joined together. We rebuke this spirit of division and destruction in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, commanding it to be silenced and cast out from your home, your family, and your community.
The behavior of these neighbors—spying, gossiping, mocking, and invading your privacy—is not merely human malice but demonic influence. The Bible tells us, *"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places"* (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Their actions are fueled by a spirit of lawlessness, laziness, and perversion. They are like the scoffers described in Proverbs: *"A gossip goes around telling secrets, so don’t hang around with chatterers"* (Proverbs 20:19 WEB).
