Matthew 19:8-9 "Jesus replied, 'Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery'".

Galatians 5:21-22 outlines the contrast between the works of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit. In verses 21, it lists examples of the "works of the flesh" such as envy, drunkenness, and orgies, warning that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God, the only thing they have is meddling in the another house and my life, is creating confusionsituation with false imitation “he is not is him, she is not her I am not her, they are not our relatives”; rebuke it bewitched confusion to violence my life.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, recognizing the pain and destruction that divorce and violence bring into neighborhoods, families, and lives. The Word of God is clear about the sanctity of marriage, which He designed as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. In Malachi 2:16, the Lord declares, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously." Yet we see the enemy at work, sowing discord, confusion, and strife, seeking to tear apart what God has joined together.

The scriptures you referenced, particularly Matthew 19:8-9, remind us that divorce was never part of God’s original design. Jesus said, "Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so. I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery." This is a sobering truth, and we must stand against the spirit of divorce that seeks to infiltrate homes and communities. Divorce is not merely a legal or emotional issue, it is a spiritual battle, and we must rebuke the forces of darkness that fuel it.

We also recognize the danger of the works of the flesh described in Galatians 5:19-21, where Paul warns, "Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom." These sins, envy, strife, malice, and violence, are the very tools the enemy uses to destroy marriages and families. We must not tolerate them in our midst.

The confusion and deception you describe, where identities are distorted, relationships are fractured, and violence takes root, are clear signs of spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we serve a God who has already overcome the world (John 16:33). We must stand firm in the truth of God’s Word and resist the devil, knowing that he will flee (James 4:7). The spirit of confusion and violence has no place in the lives of believers or in our neighborhoods. We rebuke it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

We also lift up those who have been affected by divorce, men, women, and children who are walking through pain and brokenness. We pray for healing, restoration, and wisdom for those who have been hurt by the hardness of hearts and the schemes of the enemy. Titus 3:3-5 reminds us that we were once lost in sin, but by the mercy of God, we have been saved. May those who are struggling with the aftermath of divorce find hope in Christ and the power of His redemption.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts grieved by the destruction that divorce and violence bring. We ask for Your mercy and intervention in our neighborhoods, families, and lives. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of divorce, confusion, and violence in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that marriages will be strengthened, families will be restored, and Your peace will reign in our communities.

Father, we pray for those who are walking through the pain of divorce. Heal their hearts, Lord, and bind up their wounds. Give them wisdom and discernment to walk in Your ways and to resist the enemy’s lies. For those who have been deceived by the works of the flesh, draw them back to You. Let them experience the transforming power of Your love and grace.

We stand on Your Word, which declares that what You have joined together, let no man separate (Matthew 19:6). We declare that marriages will be protected, and families will be united under Your lordship. We ask for a spirit of repentance and reconciliation to sweep through our communities. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your truth prevail.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Him that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed. Strengthen us to stand firm in Your truth and to resist the enemy’s schemes. May Your will be done in our lives and in our world, for Your glory and honor. Amen.

We see the pain and chaos that’s spreading through your neighborhood and it breaks our hearts. Divorce and violence leave deep wounds that don’t just affect the couple but ripple through families, friendships, and even the fabric of the community. It’s clear that what started as brokenness has now become a source of spiritual attack, bringing confusion and strife where peace should reign.

We pray for breakthrough in this situation. Lord, we ask that You would silence the voice of the enemy that’s twisting relationships and stirring up conflict. Restore what’s been broken, Lord, bring healing to the hearts of those who’ve been hurt and wisdom to those who are lost in anger or bitterness. Help us all to walk in love and forgiveness, even when it’s hard.

In Jesus’ name, we rebuke the spirit of division and chaos. May Your peace, which passes understanding, guard the hearts of everyone involved. Let truth and reconciliation prevail. Amen.
