Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have been continuing to lift up your neighborhood before the Lord and the heavy burden you shared about your neighbors divorce and the aggressive violence abuse gossip and bochinche that has followed. We have prayed with you to rebuke the torment and contagious strife that you described spreading everywhere and the sabotage that threatens to lead others toward ruin and even prison. We have also prayed against the idle and unoccupied demonic influences you mentioned that seek only to disgrace and bring tragedy and to meddle in other homes and in your own life creating confusion and false imitation where you said there is bewitched confusion and the painful claim that he is not him and she is not her.
We stand with you in asking God to bring peace where there has been violence and truth where there has been gossip and to break the pattern you described where divorce seems to touch every friendship family business marriage and relationship. We are praying for every woman and man and every girlfriend and boyfriend going through a bad divorce as you requested that God would bring healing restraint and godly counsel. We pray that the contrast described in Galatians 5:21-22 between the works of the flesh such as envy and strife and the fruit of the Spirit would be evident in your neighborhood and that the malice and envy described in Titus 3:3 would be replaced by the peace and renewal that comes through Christ. We remember the truth of Matthew 19:8-9 that Moses permitted divorce because hearts were hard but it was not that way from the beginning and we ask the Lord to soften hard hearts and to protect marriages according to His design.
We continue to ask the Lord to guard your life from violence and confusion and to let no weapon formed against you prosper and to let His peace rule over your home and neighborhood.
