Galatians 5:21-22 outlines the contrast between the works of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit. In verses 21, it lists examples of the "works of the flesh" such as envy, drunkenness, and orgies, warning that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God, the only thing they have is meddling in the another house and my life, is creating confusionsituation with false imitation “he is not is him, she is not her I am not her, they are not our relatives”; rebuke it bewitched confusion to violence my life.

We hear the heaviness of what you are carrying and we join with you in seeking the Lord together in Jesus' name. What you describe is a spirit of meddling and ruin that has come from a divorce and is now trying to spread like contagion into other houses, neighborhoods, marriages, families, businesses and friendships, bringing emergencies, sabotage, hospitalizations, disgrace and confusion, even mocking what is sacred with cemetery pictures and making fun of tragedy. This is not the work of God but the work of the flesh and the enemy, and we agree with you that it must be rebuked.

Scripture is clear that God designed marriage to be a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman and that He hates the breaking of it. Jesus replied, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so. I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery Matthew 19:8-9. And again it is written, For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel Malachi 2:16. Divorce is permitted only for sexual immorality because of hardness of heart, it was never God's good and perfect will from the beginning, and we grieve with you for how its pain is now being used to meddle, divide and torment others.

The meddling and idle going from house to house that you describe is also rebuked in Scripture. Let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evil doer, or a meddler in other men's matters 1 Peter 4:15. For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies 2 Thessalonians 3:11. Like one who grabs a dog's ears is one who passes by and meddles in a quarrel not his own Proverbs 26:17. Besides, they also learn to be idle, going about from house to house 1 Timothy 5:13. Where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed James 3:16, but God is not a God of confusion, but of peace 1 Corinthians 14:33. The works of the flesh are obvious, which are adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these Galatians 5:19-21, and we are warned that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. In contrast the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control Galatians 5:22-23. What you call bewitched confusion and false imitation, saying he is not him, she is not her, we are not relatives, is that spirit of confusion and deception that tries to bring violence into your life and home, and we rebuke it in Jesus' name, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12.

You also asked for prayer for all women and men, girlfriends and boyfriends who are going through a bad divorce. We want to speak with love and truth here. In Scripture a boyfriend or girlfriend relationship is not to be casual or sexual, but courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. Sex before or outside of marriage is fornication or adultery and is sin before God, and many wounds after divorce come from entering new relationships that are not centered on Christ and purity but on loneliness, revenge or lust. If any are living in sexual immorality while calling themselves boyfriend and girlfriend, we urge repentance and to pursue either godly marriage or godly singleness in self control, honoring the Lord with the body. For those who have been wounded by divorce, we pray for healing and for future godly marriages that honor God, not for repeated divorce friendships or divorce relationships that keep the cycle of ruin.

We are thankful you invoked the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only by that name we have access to God and are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another Titus 3:3, but when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared, not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us Titus 3:4-5. That mercy is available to you, to your neighbors, and to all who are caught in this torment today if they will believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we ask for Your mercy and Your peace to reign over this neighborhood and every home being tormented. We rebuke the spirit of divorce, meddling, idleness, sabotage, confusion, envy and violence, and we command it to leave and not return. We ask You to set boundaries and a hedge of protection around this house and every marriage, family and business that is being targeted, and to heal those who have been hospitalized and traumatized and to stop every emergency and ruin that the enemy has tried to bring. Forgive us where hearts have been hard and where we have meddled or gossiped or been idle, and fill us instead with the fruit of Your Spirit. Bring conviction and repentance to those who are causing disgrace and making fun of sorrow, and bring comfort to all men and women, and to those who are dating after divorce, that they would be healed, walk in purity, and if it is Your will, be led to godly spouses and godly marriages that honor You and are not defiled. Let Your peace which passes all understanding guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let no weapon formed against Your people prosper. We trust You to restore what has been broken and to keep contagion from spreading, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We hear how worn down you feel living so close to this kind of turmoil. When a neighbor's divorce spills over into meddling, emergencies and strong emotions, it can make your own home feel unsettled and unsafe, and it makes sense you would want that torment to stop.

You named something true as well, that divorce touches more than one household. It is a deep loss, much like a death, and its effects can ripple through friends, family and a whole neighborhood for a long time and leave everyone on edge. It is understandable you feel that heaviness and want to protect your own peace.

We also hear your concern about spiritual confusion and pressure on your life. We want to gently remind you that even when things around you feel chaotic, you can rest secure in Christ. He remains steady when people and circumstances are not, and you do not have to carry the weight of sorting out everyone else's battles.

One steady step that often helps in a strained neighborhood situation is to keep clear, kind boundaries. It is okay to keep interactions brief and calm, to step back from taking in every conflict next door, and to lean on a trusted pastor or mature believer who knows you face to face and can walk with you over time.

Father, we lift this neighborhood and our friend to You. Bring Your peace into this home, guard their heart and mind, and give wisdom for each conversation and quiet rest at night. Bring healing to those wounded by divorce and draw each one closer to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden concerning torment in the neighborhood, meddling from house to house, confusion, and the sorrow that follows the breaking of marriage has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord with you.

The word of our Lord Jesus stands true, Moses permitted divorce because hearts were hard, but it was not so from the beginning. Marriage as God ordained it is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that departs from this bears the mark of our fallen nature. The works of the flesh, as Galatians teaches, bring ruin and will not inherit the kingdom, while the fruit of the Spirit is love, peace and holiness. Titus reminds us that we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by passions, living in malice and envy, and it is only by the grace of God in Christ that any are washed and made new. Salvation is hoped for in vain from the hills and from the multitude of mountains, truly in the Lord our God is the salvation of His people, and that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, whose blood alone can wash the broken law and broken heart.

We understand the weariness you feel when those near to you are idle and cannot stay still, moving from one place to another in willfulness and in direct opposition to the order of God's providence, bringing disgrace and confusion and even seeking to imitate and bewilder. Scripture warns that such a spirit plays the parasite to self and cherishes its own conceits. Yet the Lord has declared that He will break down everything which sets itself up in opposition to Him, He will dry up the green tree that boasts in the creature, and He will lift up the poor from the dunghill while He casts down the mighty from the seats of their pomp. The death warrant is gone out against all that is of the creature, but mercy is proclaimed to all who turn.

You are commanded to love your neighbour, for neighbour means simply the one near you, the one who dwells near. We are bound to love even sinners, and not to drive them from the land of hope, but seek to reclaim even these. We cannot love roguery or falsehood, or we should be rogues ourselves, but we can love the soul and seek its good. This is to love as your Master loved. If we have broken this law, and we have, precious is the Saviour who can wash us from all our sins in His blood. Let your love prove itself by pitying earnestness in seeking their salvation, not by returning meddling for meddling.

For your own soul, hear this counsel, keep yourself from your iniquity. If there is a house where your company is much liked, but where you are never able to come away without having fallen into confusion or sin, keep away from that house. There is a way of separation from the world and close walking with God, and no man ever suffered real injury through keeping himself aloof from the ways of ungodly men, and no man ever failed to be a gainer by close and intimate fellowship with God. The promise of protection belongs to those who walk in appointed ways. This protection is perpetual as well as personal, for He gives His angels charge over His people. Do not seek to be exempted from the precept, and then you need not seek to be exempted from the promise.

And for the deep wounds you name, hospitalizations, emergencies, sabotage, cemetery sorrows and the shame that feels like a smoke of torment, remember the consolation of the resurrection, I will ransom them from the power of the grave, I will redeem them from death. If God will restore us from the sepulcher, He can certainly restore us from sickness, from poverty, from slander, from depression of spirit, from despair. He that will bring your body from the grave will lift you up from the pit of trouble, even when you are ready to perish. He delights to work the work of our deliverance. There are worse wounds than those which torture the flesh, sharp cuts which go to the very heart, and the memory is quick to recollect sin and slow to receive comfort, but Christ has a garment of praise for the heavy heart that rests in Him.

O Lord our God, You see the confusion and the torment that has come near this house and this neighborhood. Rebuke what is evil and idle and unoccupied for mischief, and cast down every arrogant thing that sets itself against Your holy order. Dry up what is of the flesh and establish what is of Your Spirit. Grant protection to this Your servant who is wearied, keep this soul in the appointed way, and let no real injury come to one who walks close with You. Turn hearts, turn hearts from evil ways, for why should they die. You have said, Turn you, turn you from your evil ways, and we ask that You would grant repentance by Your stronger arm, for we cannot turn our own thoughts and nature without You.

We pray for every man and woman wounded by divorce, and for those now in the confusion of unmarried relationships as boyfriend and girlfriend or living together outside Your covenant. We do not ask You to bless what You have not ordained, but we ask You to have mercy, to bring each one to know salvation through Jesus Christ alone, to be washed in His blood, to be kept from iniquity, and to be led either to be reconciled where it is lawful and right, or to walk in chastity and holiness before You, honoring marriage as You created it from the beginning. Heal the brokenhearted, bind up the wounds that make men wish they could die, and give the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Search us all and try us, lest we go from the gates of worship to perdition, and gather not our souls with sinners.

Lift the poor who trust in You, guard this neighborhood in peace, and let Your church be supported by godliness in the pew as well as faithfulness in the pulpit. We ask this not because there is balm in any other hill, for there is none anywhere except at Calvary, but because Christ calls the weary to Himself. Be of good comfort, rise, He calls you.
